Match between Manchester City  vs wolves is getting interested but no goal yet for the two teams. With my prediction in this game I believe Manchester City will end up with the highest goal in today's game.

If not for penalty chance Manchester had, the game would have ended in draws.  Actually I thought this match will be draw , looking at it
from the beginning of the match it seem wolves are well prepared for the game of today.

It really ended by the same score. But Manchester City could have even scored 5 or 6 goals at least when we take the statistics of the match into account. Wolves should be thankful for not facing a heavier loss in Etihad. A win is a win in the end and Manchester City have guaranteed their position for this week also. Maybe one of their biggest competitors lose points and it would be for the benefit of them.

City had some good chances to score in the second half but missed. I think Wolves goalkeeper J. Sa played pretty well today because he made some great saves on a couple of occasions. Finally I can say that overall City did deserve 3 points today even though they only managed with 1 goal. Now Manchester City is still quite safe at the top of the standings with 38 points from 16 matches.

Some other match are going on where Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are playing their respective games and I think all three teams above will win today. It's still 0-0 now, but I'm sure the goals will come soon especially for Liverpool.

In this case, I appreciate the Wolves' game a little because even though they were heavily pressured and even with 10 players they couldn't help but endure the whole game but they were able to make City difficult in this match.

Liverpool - Aston Villa is a tough one. If Aston Villa didn't bring Steven Gerrard to their coach position and didn't start performing better, I would say that Liverpool would defeat them easily. But now we never know what will happen. Liverpool would still have the control of the match I guess. That’s the problem with City this season.  What they need is a  real no. 9 out there.  I said this in another thread, City looks stale and toothless.  Come this January or the summer they should acquire a striker.  I pretty much think they’ll go for the big names this summer with Kane and Haaland on top of the list.  Maybe even Mbappe?

But the stale part is mostly because after they press and get the ball, they usually play it from the back.  Unlike LFC, it’s go to the front right away asap before the opponent starts coming back to formation.

Their achievements for the debutant team are quite good because indeed they are now in 13th position.

I think it's too early to predict considering the season isn't over yet. Brentford has so far been a pretty competitive team in every match even though so far they have only been able to collect 17 points from 15 matches. Brentford can make it difficult for top teams on several occasions because he has a strong vision when playing. But this is a consequence of a team like Brentford as they don't have star class players in their squad.

I'm just curious about Arsenal, Manchester United and also Tottenham this season because I think one of these three teams will qualify for the Champions League next season by ending the season at least in the top 4. Chelsea, City and Liverpool are believed to be taking part again next season although currently they still have a chance to qualify automatically if they manage to win in the final.

It's true that it's too early to say things like this but through the experience of the past seasons especially if you look at norwich, newcastle and burnley I think for brentford to be in the highest caste it is still possible and even very likely.
For newcastle, it might be a bit of an advantage because they have enough finances now so they can reshuffle the existing players.

I actually expected something more from City especially when they were ahead in terms of number of players, but until the end of the game only one goal was created.

Btw for chelsea now they are in a lot of trouble due to some core players missing and the game is going on, they were surprised by the leeds penalty goal, they are now trying to catch up
