I see that Manchester City - Leicester game can be another game which is a candidate to be enjoyable. It is most likely to see Manchester City taking full control of the game from the start. Leicester will try to find an opening in Manchester City's defense to score. Maybe they will score one goal too. But I still think that Manchester City will get a comfortable win.

I see Arsenal surprising everyone to remain in that top four spot.The team spirit is there,and they are ready to fight for that spot till the season is over.

Arsenal are playing well. They have managed to score full points in the last 3 matches. They beat West Ham 2-0. And they don't seem to will lost any more matches this year. Their next two matches are against Norwich and the Wolves. But in January they will face Manchester City and Tottenham. If they can perform well in these two matches. Then I would say they can be in the top 4 of the table.

Once again Premier League clubs present a refreshing spectacle, full of surprises. Like Arsenal, at the beginning of the season the club nicknamed the Gunners appeared so disappointing in every game. But towards the end of the season, Arsenal can sit in the 4th position in the standings.

There are four days left for the new match weeks to start. And there are two opening matches but one of them is attracting to me: Liverpool v Leeds. Liverpool are the absolute favourite team in this match of course. If Leeds had their usual performance recently, things would have been much different. For example, there was a match between them in Anfield which ended by Liverpool's 4-3 victory in Anfield last year. But now, it seems like Liverpool will also tear them apart.

The match against Leeds must be put to good use by Liverpool to get full points after last week they got a draw from Tottenham, to continue to stick closely with Manchester City this season of course victory is a fixed price for liverpool, I think Liverpool defeat last season from Leeds was not a reference if Leeds can be even better now, especially in last September Liverpool managed to beat Leeds with a score of 3-0 and I think Liverpool will beat Leeds again in the next match.

But I still expect the game to be delightful. Even Liverpool's huge performance would make it watchable a lot. My expectation from them is that they would win by 4 or 5 goals at least. After a point loss against Tottenham, they should be able to boost their morale thanks to this comfortable game.

It's true, a heavy blow for Liverpool when playing with Tottenham. With a draw, they must remain vigilant and not repeat mistakes in the most needed minutes. Especially considering that against Tottenham they were almost confined at the last minute due to lack of players. So surviving is an option. Once again Leeds United had to admit defeat to a top Premier League team with a big score after previously having to pick up 7 balls from the goal scored by Manchester City. Recently, Arsenal scored 4 goals against Leeds United and thus mean they have conceded 14 goals in 3 consecutive match including the match vs Chelsea.

Furthermore, Leeds United also had to face another top team, namely Liverpool in the 19th Premier League match. Of course it's an easy match for Liverpool players and I think there will be at least 3 more goals that will torture Leeds United in that match.

Yup...  Virgil van Dijk, Thiago, Fabinho and prolly a couple others have all tested positive for covid.  But Brendan Rodgers at Leicester is in a bit of a conundrum too as he has lots of players in the side lines as well.  I’d prolly still pick Liverpool to win but it’s prolly something close like 2 - 1, 1 - 0...  Not a trashing.

And it looks like a lot of the clubs’ players are testing postive for covid.  You guys think Boxing Day fixtures will go on as scheduled?

There are so many key players injured and also, this is not an EPL match but just an EFL Cup which looks like Liverpool themselves might be more focused on the EPL. In fact, while the key players are playable sometimes in this tournament they play some second tier players, it proves they are not really a priority for this tournament. Therefore, it is difficult for me to predict matches in this tournament, but for sure the match will be tough which makes it difficult for both teams to score goals, betting on total goals for under goals is the exact choice I think.

But as it is a cup match, we never know if we can see some surprises happening. Maybe this cup is not as prestigious as the FA Cup but I still expect Liverpool to have their usual lineup and fight for a win. And Tottenham have a home match against West Ham. I expect this match to be very competitive. As Tottenham are stronger than before now with Conte, I think they will manage to eliminate West Ham.

This is very vulnerable if it is stated that several players have been affected by COVID-19, will this allow the game to become stable? Klopp has to be more extra in strategy, especially if Bronden Rogers still has many players to rely on, even this is not a bit of a puzzle, but he will look for loopholes when Liverpool have many players absent, maybe the second game will be very strong as long as Leicester are in a stable area. later.

Leicester City is at a goof chance to win this round with the pickings Covid-19 has done on the team. I'm sure Klopp would still still able to pull off some coaching tricks on the game. The least that I expect in this game is a draw as, Liverpool can't afford to loose at home.

Brentford vs Chelsea feels like a work over game though, Chelsea haven't been much of itsbest lately.

Clubs and leagues have to accept this fact and adapt to this more infectious situation. They can not stop leagues forever or whenever there are new waves of infection. Liverpool  vs Leicester city , Brentford vs Chelsea, Tottenham vs West Ham. All matches to kick off at exactly the same time. Except Chelsea Brentford that looks easily predictable all other matches will show some level of competitiveness. Mostly Tottenham vs West Ham as Tottenham is gradually proving some level of strength lately as conte takes over the coaching business.

Liverpool will have to face Leicester which will require some calculative efforts to defeat.

Interestingly odds are between 2 - 3.5 for all matches that will be played today in EFL Cup. The favorite teams are without surprise Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. As you mentioned Spurs and West Ham performance are close to each other so we might see a different result in this game.

West Ham wouldn't be an easy contender for spur even as conte Antonio is massively improving spurs performances. West Ham has been on their best keep up to 5th position on the table. It's barely few minutes to the start of match I hope west ham gets more easier for Tottenham has everyone is predicting
