Another point loss from Chelsea.  The match with Wolverhampton ended in a goalless draw.  Liverpool drew 2-2 with Tottenham.  Robertson was left out of the game with a red card.  Manchester City beat Newcastle United 4-0.  With this result, City increased the points gap with Liverpool to 3 points.  Chelsea are 6 points behind Manchester City.

Chelsea and Liverpool are both losing points and allowing City a comfortable distance. I hope that soon we will see a decline in City - otherwise there is a risk that it will be a boring championship again where the leader has a large lead and even a couple of failures do not threaten his position. I would like to see the competition until the last round.

Today Tottenham did give Manchester city  breathing space. Tottenham started the match with a goal . Its had for Manchester city to score more goals. I think Tottenham defence is Very hard for Manchester city .

you are wrong, Tottenham against Liverpool while man city against Newcastle. it was a good match, I like how both teams attack each other. but it's a shame that Tottenham was only able to hold Liverpool to a draw at home, even though I was initially very sure that Tottenham could win but Jota and Robertson made Tottenham fail to win.

The reason why the match between Chelsea vs Wolverhampton ended 0:0 is because some of the Chelsea players was affected by covid-19 few days before the match . Chelsea still have a big opportunity to win their next match with 2:0 for the favour of Chelsea . Even Liverpool will do everything possible to win their next match to remain in second position in this premier league champion season. Liverpool need to correct their errors in today match so that it will affect them in their next match.

It was a poor performance from chelsea today not many goal chances only one shot on goal it was a logical and fair score wolves are a tough team to crack and chelsea are on a bad streak, even liverpool team droped two points today despite being ahead on the second half they didnt manage to win against tottenham and now with this score they are 3 points away from city and 3 from chelsea it seems this week was beneficial for man city.

That was confusing since the first sentence could be understood as City getting 3 points gap from Liverpool which is good for them, as it might seem that instead of writing Liverpool, he wrote City.
Anyway, a challenging game and Liverpool wasn't able to hold the 1 goal difference for more than 5 minutes. The red card made the situation more complicated and Spurs weren't able to profit from that.

I wouldn't say that Chelsea is out of the race. No way, they are still able to beat the top teams if they meet each other head to head in the league. They just can't afford to lose more points against average teams from the Premier League anymore. They need to win their games, definitely the ones they play at home. The next matchups against teams from the top 5 will be interesting.

Mahrez has played less game's this season.
Are they preparing for life with Mahrez already, since he'll be going for the African cup of nations.
He had a goal to his name today, beautiful to see him score, as they scored four goals past Newcastle.

They will be starting January against Liverpool in a home game, and Manchester City afterwards, two opponents you will want to play with high morale. Tottenham vs Liverpool was a very superb match today. Conte's team is much better than their old version now. If Tottenham were still playing with their old game plan, Liverpool would have destroyed them by a big margin most likely. But thanks to the new system, they were almost defeating Liverpool. After a fierce fight, it ended up with a result like 2-2.

Mate you are choosing wrong words it's not chosen it's happening because now Chelsea is facing some trouble due to injured players, and it's never happen with chosen it's mostly happened just by bad luck so same happening here in English Premier League with Chelsea and in Italian League with Napoli they were also on top but suddenly due to some long list of injured players now they are at third spot.

We are in 18th round and still nearly 20 rounds remaining, so now Championship is open for just very few teams like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea any team can grip this year because they have good quality and better squad for other teams now it's hard these are fighting for spot in European Leagues.

They probably haven't "chosen" to lose points right now. They would never choose to lose any points if it were up to them. They are just out of luck, exactly the luck that they had during the first 10 - 12 games or so. Also keep in mind who was missing today because of Covid: Werner, Lukaku and Hudson-Odoi. That is very hard and you can't compensate for those three players. Now I guess they even have to play the boxing days without the three.

It's a perfect week for Man City team and their fans as they slowly pull away from the chasing Liverpool and Chelsea. They also drew level on goal difference with LFC at 35 and that could be significant by the end of the season.

It's hard to believe Chelsea failed to score against Wolves.
I think Liverpool was also fortunate to get a point since there are still plenty of time after the Robertson red card. Funny how you score a likely winning goal but kick out few mimutes later hehe.

really unlucky chelsea was held to a draw by wolves 0-0, otherwise they will definitely be able to catch up a bit with man city. Talking about man city, I'm not surprised to see them win 4-0 from newcastle because since the beginning of the match, man city has dominated the game, even in the 5th minute dias make a goal for man city.

The game which I really enjoyed watching the most was absolutely the Tottenham - Liverpool one. I was hoping to see a good competition already but this was more than I expected honestly. Because we saw a great effort by each team, the game started being more watchable. I didn't get bored in any half thanks to the high tempo of the game. Liverpool made a really good comeback from a 1-0 score to 1-2. But Tottenham balanced things in only five minutes and the final result was 2-2. I was happy to see Kane scoring one goal also.

As a Tottenham Hotspur fan am very impressed with the performance but disappointed with the result,spurs would have won the game by 3 goals to nothing in the first half if they were clinical enough,but they were not and drew the game,but they is alot of improvement in the performance is been long I saw Tottenham play this way against a top team like Liverpool.

Chelsea have lost the form they were in,and are now settling for draw.They are still sitting third,but if care is not taken,they might lose their place to Arsenal who are more hungry to be in top four this season.

Arteta really want to be in top four and together with the boys are doing everything possible to be above Chelsea who are now dwindling in performance each day.
The top four finish this year is really going to be tough.

with Liverpool's current form and with the score and style of play that is presented actually this is something that is good for tottenham even though they can only make the final result a draw.
On the other hand, I actually regretted Tottenham's game at the last minute because they actually had a chance after winning in the number of players.
but a draw against a big team is a pretty good thing
