In any case, Newcastle did what it had to do and that is to win. Tonight City will play against Leeds United, I don't expect too many problems there. Of course City will do anything to win this match. I even expect this match to end over 2.5. I know that the team is not missing anything. Considering that they got points from this match and they are missing from the game, they are not too far for the Leadership and still considering that Arsenal are deprived of their most important striker. I think Manchester City will not lose how important this game is.

It seems that Manchester United's performance is still very doubtful this season, yesterday was their first match in the EPL after the 2022 World Cup break, so at least it takes two or three more games if you want to see this consistency continue. I of course also support Man United to win, even though Wolves also have to win in this match because they are already in the relegation zone at the moment. So the wolves need at least one win to secure their position in the standings.

Manchester United is lacking consistency and this game against Wolves provides them the chance to break the jinx of dropping points against wolves and creating stability in the team. But that match will look hard to united with wolves hungry for points and united missing there key players; Martinez is still celebrating is World triumph, lindelof and scot mcTomminay are ill and Maguire who is back but not sharp to start a match, it will be hard to curtail  Jimenez and wolves attack. Hopefully the inverted back four against Nottingham forest will do a great job again. But I have a feeling wolves will take point from this game

The match has just started, and I see Manchester City will be able to score an early goal in at least the first 20 minutes. There is no doubt about their chances of winning, the presence of Erling Haaland in the starting line-up will help a lot in attack. Otherwise, I don't see that Leeds will be able to score in this game, but let's see for sure at the end of the game.

After all the offers tendered by Manchester United, Cody gakpo has finally joined Liverpool. I believe it's a good thing to see another attacker in Liverpool. But currently I don't think Liverpool has a problem in their attacking lines, I'll choose any of their attacking option between Sallah, Nunez and Diaz, or cavhalo, firmino and Diogo Jotta. Both options are good. I was thinking Liverpool will also consider adding another Defender to the squad because they find it difficult to hold unto a clean-sheet win this days.

It looks like I was wrong about Leicester. I thought that Leicester would continue to climb in the standings. But their performance against Newcastle was just terrible to tell the truth. There was nothing positive in defense and offense both. But when we look at Leicester's previous matches we can see that they were able to fix their issues in their defense. There wasn't any problem with scoring goals either. Actually it wasn't a problem since the beginning of the season. The defense was just holding them back.

Leicester need to make important changes now. I don't feel like Rodgers is the main problem. I think they can solve this problem with new transfers.

The defense built by Leeds really made it difficult for Manchester City to penetrate their defense. At the moment, not a single goal has been created, even Manchester City are having a hard time finding opportunities that are open for them to turn into goals. We’re now in the 31th minute and still no action in the form of a goal yet. Manchester City is favored to win the match as Leeds United would likely not stand a chance to win the game against the superior Manchester City. Hopefully, there’s still some time left in the first half of the game to see some action.
I actually don’t see Leeds winning the game but I’ve been wrong before and I may be wrong today though highly unlikely. Manchester City is on top of the game and the obvious stronger of the two. If the first half doesn’t present any goal, the second half would be more exciting and would definitely give us a more needed goal to get the game going.

Manchester city is aiming for a win to be able to reduce the points behind Arsenal. the match against leeds was quite tough where I saw marsch applying a more defensive situation in this match, the match had been running for more than 35 minutes but the city players were still unable to break into the leeds goal, some of the opportunities that Erling Haaland got were still broken by the players leeds, manchester city dominated this match I think they should be able to take advantage of the situation to press more aggressively in this first half. pep must play foden in this match because I believe foden can provide greater hope to support a stronger side of attack.

Perhaps in this match you should not look for problems in Leicester, now Newcastle are really very strong. I think Leicester are capable of finishing this season somewhere in the middle of the standings. Now you should not make hasty conclusions, perhaps the break did not do them any good and they will need some time to break out into the game. City are in full control of the game, but so far the Leeds defense is holding their pressure, 38 minutes into the match, City have made 11 shots on goal. Will Haaland score today?

There is hardly any doubt that Manchester City would be winning there fixture against Leeds. They've got every reason to win, the squad to make it happen and the would. Especially with the fact that, they've got the chance to seat back and watch all the other teams during the weekend have an amazing performance and advance there point gaps. Arsenal on the other hand have got to increase there points, even Newcastle United got to occupy the second place on the league table and that's more than threatening for Pep as, it could mean his gradually losing his chance of being  title contender and a spot in the top 4.

Am sure Leeds had this coming because, how could they not. This is Manchester City and with the lots if chances that have been coming, it was only a matter of time before one finds itself at the back of the net. I just couldn't imagine how Jacj Grealish was just missing all the provided chances. His got some of the best chances in the first half of the game and he keeps putting it off target. Good chances with balls that already has enough momentum and all he needed to do is just direct it to the goal but, he keeps shooting it up. Good enough Rodri came to the rescue and they arr now 2 goals up in the early minutes of the second half. Am guessing they won't stop at that.

Haaland is such a beast that he continues from where he left in the Premier League. He scored the relieving goal for his team 10 minutes ago and they are 2-0 ahead now. It is his 19th goal in the league also by the way. It is unbelievable that he has reached this amount even before the end of the first half of the season. I wonder if we can see at least 40 goals from him until the end of the season. Who knows maybe it will be even more than that depending on how focused he will be in every match.

While I was making the post he scored another goal and it is 3-0 now.    I really have no more words to say about him. He is such a special striker that Manchester City are so lucky to have him.
