De Bruyne's importance can be realized easily from his last official match with his team as well.

Manchester City played a big match against Liverpool in the EFL Cup as you know. De Bruyne was like the most performing player of the match undoubtedly. His passes and especially crosses were so successful that all of them were finding their targets. The assists to Haaland and especially Ake were amazing to watch. If you look closely to him while he is making those crosses you can see easily that it is like a usual thing for him now. He is making them like he is doing nothing difficult. This is the result of hard work of course.

In the last match in Carabao Cup against Liverpool De Bruyne was the best player of the match I guess.
His passes are really a separate art form, his last pass to the goal was as if it was not done with his foot, but as if by hand he just threw a twisted ball into the penalty area.   
Apparently now De Bruyne is at the peak of his form given his stability. Yes, the Belgian national team has not yet been able to make the world champion (but it's not his fault), but he is able to bring trophies to Manchester City. His tandem with Haaland is excellent.

Just look at the Premier League, De Bruyne is a top assist, he continues to provide such great crosses, especially in front of Haaland, who always succeeds as a finish. It is quite great and skilled, what De Bruyne currently has.
Manchester City are not lacking in terms of midfielders they have a lot of great midfielders including De Bruyne but he still hasn't been able to bring trophies in the UCL and yesterday at the World Cup but I think playing in and in the league is really different maybe because of other factors that could not bring his national team to go any further.
The stability and accuracy of the pass is almost perfect and that's exactly what De Bruyne has.

De Bruyne is a player who is always in the starting eleven and Pep Guardiola really likes his playing style. even this season De Bruyne has always played in the 14 matches that have been played by Manchester City. he was a figure of great influence for manchester city in previous seasons. maybe this season is a pretty good period for manchester city because the manchester city squad has high quality players in every line. Erling haaland and Foden as well as the rising star Alvarez, of course Manchester City are quite strong this season. The champions league trophy has been Manchester City main target in the previous few seasons but it has always failed and this season we will see if De Bruyne et al can bring the champions league trophy home to the Etihad Stadium.

The last time they met, Manchester United scored 8 goals. Of course, this match was even before the millennium. ManU was managed by Ferguson. Solskjaer scored the last 4 goals in that match, and if Nottingham Forest had made it to the Premier League last season, they would have met while Solskjaer was in charge of the team. It could be very interesting.
Anyway, back to the present time, Ten Hag is in charge of the team and ManU has had mixed results before the World Cup. They have not been able to achieve a clear winning streak in the last period. Now, looking at their fixtures, they have a chance to win the 3 games until the Manchester City game and catch a series. I expect them to have a comfortable win against Nottingham Forest. I don't mean to belittle Nottingham Forest, but I don't think they have ability to get points at Old Trafford.

Aston Villa is not a comfortable opponent for Liverpool in my opinion. Liverpool will need to be really careful against them. Because Emery has already started to make a big impact on Aston Villa.    Since he came to the team, they have won two tough matches against Manchester United (3-1) and Brighton (2-1). This is not an easy job to do for any manager right from the beginning of his career with that team. But Emery is not just an ordinary manager that's obvious. He has always been like this whatever team he goes to.

My betting choice is likely to be both teams to score @1.65. I don't want to risk it by betting on a side.

in the next transfer market, both Liverpool and Chelsea will definitely try their best to bring in the reliable players needed by the team. and especially Chelsea. Chelsea desperately need additional players in attack and midfield. we must not forget that Chelsea in the last transfer market too save money. With 19 years old of course he is a long-term asset, if they manage to get then it is very profitable. But of course competition comes from various clubs. Newcastle are at a very good level right now, judging from their standings, I think I can already show that today they can be said to be better than the opponent they will face in this Premier League continuation, Leicester City. Don't be too carried away by current position, football might not work based on who is above each other in points. I understand there could be upsets in football, even a championship team could beat a premier league team on FA cup time to time, it happens but that doesn't mean that Newcastle is worse, it just means football gods could be on Leicesters side for this time being. I think the best game for the 26th December games is absolutely Leicester vs Newcastle United.I think and I believe in a win from Newcastle as they have been top performers during the last games of the league and they even beat Chelsea 1-0 if I remember correctly.The odd of over 2.2 is very inviting for me and I am going to bet on them because I don't think Leicester will be able to resist that long in a season where they have been doing pretty badly overall,so while I am sure all other people are going to bet on City and Arsenal I prefer to bet on this game.

Leicester in principle often have problems during the game, especially in defense. I've been watching them for almost 8 years and they are not constant. I mean, they can often beat the champions or basically a strong team, but often lose to the outsiders, and this season they became outsiders themselves, spending a lot of time in the relegation zone...  Fickleness is their problem, not the composition

Yes, Chelsea needs a striker who can cooperate with Aubameyang.
I heard an issue that Cheslea is trying to sign Nkunku and they already get a personal agreement. If it is true, Chelsea seems to successfully sign Nkunku because Chelsea only needs to negotiate about the transfer fees. Since Chelsea is in urgent to sign a striker, I assume Chelsea will brave to spend whatever the amount of money that Leipzig wants. About signing Ronaldo, I think it is just a rumor and Chelsea will prioritize Nkunku if they already get a personal agreement.

Nkunku deal is just the matter of time , he has say good bye to leipzig fans too and moreover chelsea have officially signed david datro fofana the 20 years old striker that came out of nowhere ... still the nkunku move to chelsea it's 100% done as per fabrizio romano , the incredible transfer reporter.

In my own opinion Chelsea only needed a good striker for their team, if they can sign Ronaldo that will be a better addition to complement Abumeyang and Broja in their attack the attack to score more goals, meanwhile in the absence of injured Kante in the midfield players like of Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, Zakaria, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount and host of few others didn't do badly and infeed performed well, recall when Graham Potter was new appointed as their new manager they had a steaks of wins consistently without Kante helped by who was Kepa very brilliant at goal, they should sign Ronaldo In a matter urgency doing so will absolutely up their game and remain consistent in their subsequent matches.

Chelsea have players who already play in that position, players like Aubameyang, Broja and sometimes Kai Havertz who has been played as a false nine on several occasions for Chelsea. Chelsea have a weak attack judging from their goal stats in the past 5 games before the break. Talking about the midfield, they have quite a number of midfield options so they don't have much problem in the midfield, the main problem is the attack that needs improvement.

I wouldnt be so confident about Manchester United winning with ease the way you are saying it. Football is sometimes tricky and with all what i have so far Manchester United have been struggling to win games and no time is a bad time to write a history in football. Nottingham forest can shock Manchester United with a surprise win and start their second half of the season with a good spirit. The two have not faced each other for a long time now so who knows what's going to happen. The stats for Nottingham forest is really bad and they really need to step up their game and who knows if they can start with Man United,  we all saw the shocking Victory of the Saudi Arabians over Argentina so its very possible for Nottingham forest to win that game.

The only historical part of Manchester United's game against Nottingham is that they are playing against each other for the first time in 23 years. But no more than that indeed.

Because there is a significant gap between these teams at the moment. Maybe Nottingham defeated Liverpool but it was due to Liverpool's incapabilities. We all saw how Arsenal destroyed Nottingham as well. As long as Manchester United return strong and play focusedly there is no way they are losing points here. Based on the news Liverpool is the team most interested in Enzo Fernandez moreover they have a good relationship with Berfica
Besides that, Liverpool need this young player to anticipate Moh Salah who is getting older I mean in the near future he will definitely retire
So there is nothing wrong if Liverpool prepare a replacement while establishing cohesiveness with each other.
