I don't see Newcastle dropping points anytime soon because with the kind of players they have and the kind of team spirit in the camp at the moment,their main target is to remain in the top four or better still,win the premier league.Anything is possible in football,they might be waiting for just a slide from Arsenal to close up the gap they have between them,Manchester city and Arsenal.
Although I know this will be impossible to do but we can't just rule it out,whereas Tothenham are behind Newcastle and want to overtake them by all means,but with the way I'm seeing things the season, Newcastle might finish above Totthenham,Liverpool,and Chelsea.

It is not yet certain that Newcastle will finish in the top 4 positions next season. There are still many matches to be played. You can't tell what club would make it to the top 4 positions at the end. It can be Newcastle or not. Only time will tell by the time they have played about 6-7 games next year, we will begin to conclude what club will be at the top or not.

The fight for the top position will be more intense this time around since clubs will be on the move to signing new players. Am expecting a different kind of football from teams that have not been performing well in the Premier League matches.

Everton are still having hard days in the Premier League. Nothing much has changed for them since the end of the previous season. They are just above the relegation zone for now. Lampard must be really worried about relegating from the league for real this time. Their losing some important players like Richarlison has made things even more difficult for them.

They have a Wolves game ahead and Wolves are in an even worse condition than them. This is a good chance for Everton to win and take a deep breath. Maybe it might not be a comfortable win but I think they can do this.

Yes indeed, at least Everton are still lucky because they will play against Wolves after the break, because Wolves are experiencing a very severe decline in performance. I sincerely do not think so, i know Newcastle currently occupy third position in the League standings, and that's an amazing feat they have been able to achieve, but mind you that it's just 14/15 games played in the League thus far, with so many more games yet to be played. There are quite a lot of strong teams vying to finish in the top four position, these teams are far stronger than Newcastle and i think they will knock Newcastle out of the top four spot, at best Newcastle might finish 5th and qualify for the Europa League, but to get a CL ticket for next season seems too much for them to achieve. There is the big 6 in the league which is: City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs, the top four would definitely be made up of four teams from the big 6.

I might agree with your view of Newcastle at the moment. They are in good form to be in the top 3 in 15 games but there are 23 games left before the season ends which is a long and challenging road for Newcastle. I think the Champions League ticket will only be owned by the big 4 teams including Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham, but if Newcastle are consistent then it is always possible to see surprises.

Newcastle's main target this season is to win a number of match and get lots of points and play well. Regardless of how they end the season, it seems too early to predict. But the fact is that Newcastle has improved a lot.

Can't wait for the Premier League to resume running after so long we haven't seen the big teams play a game that is very interesting to watch. I want to see the performance of several teams, and I have a question whether they will be able to change, and the answer I can only get when I see their performance later. It's a Liverpool I'm really looking forward to, and hope I see they have changed unlike they were at the start of the season. Chelsea will also not go unnoticed, because of the several big teams that exist they are a team that occupies the bottom place and they are also a team that has not won in their last 5 matches in the Premier League.

Potter signed a record-breaking deal with Chelsea. I'm sure that Potter wouldn't like to leave by the end of the season. I expect the same call from Chelsea as well. They didn't sign him for only a one-season time period I assume. They must be planning a long-term relationship with him. The amount of money they are paying for his wage must be a good proof of how much they are believing in him and how much expectant they are at the same time. Potter must be feeling the pressure over himself but hopefully he will keep being focused.

He has a really tough task to perform maybe but it isn't mission impossible. He just needs to know the team closely and develop the right strategies in time. We are still not even in the middle of the season in terms of the number of matches.

winning the champions league is not such an easy task, so much so that most or almost all teams do not set themselves the goal of winning the champions league, they set their main goal to win the local league and for the champions league to strive to reach the as far as possible and if they manage to win the champions league it will be fine and if they don't succeed it is something normal, but in the case of the local league winning is the main objective and when that objective is not reached then it starts to generate a big noise among the supporters and club officers.

I'm not sure yet how to rate Chelsea for this season. They can certainly do better, but on the other hand it's not a disaster season, as it seems now. They are also one of the few teams besides Liverpool to win the Cl once in the last 10 years. Yet the EPL may have more status than the CL, also financially because of all the sponsors and television money. But Chelsea will certainly have to finish in the top 4 to have another successful season. I think Arsenal and City are really better at the moment, but certainly not Liverpool. And we also see that reflected in the temporary ranking.

To be honest, Potter actually seemed to have come at a not-so-right time.
When he arrived he was faced with internal problems that were still unfinished, on the other hand injury problems had also worsened his condition so he couldn't do much to exploit the players they had.
Even though in terms of the scheme that he always plays, the potential is still there for him. The problem is the conditions that are not very possible for some players, which actually makes him a little doubtful at this time.

There are plenty of good matches in Boxing Day but I wonder how teams will react after long World Cup break. This will be first time in history so I suppose we should be open to any results. At first glance Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are favorites but probably at least one of them won't win the game.

Lately Arsenal have big superiority over West Ham United. They should not let point gap to close, especially home matches are very important and they have to get three points at home. While Jesus is away, I expect Nketiah to start scoring. So far he didn't get much playing time in the league but his Europa League performance was okay. Elneny also played in midfield in friendlies, he may be a good addition to the rotation again. If these guys play good it will work like a new transfer effect for the Gunners.

If it is true, Chelsea seems to successfully sign Nkunku because Chelsea only needs to negotiate about the transfer fees. Potter should have learned a lot from the many defeats so far. After a break in several terms for the WorldCup, it is hoped that Potter has a new formula to get Chelsea back up from their slump. Chelsea is currently ranked 8th, with a very bad game history, losing 3 times in a row and only being able to draw in the previous game. If it continues like this, maybe Chelsea will continue to slump. Chelsea's problems are complex, not only in the players but also in tactics that are still not quite right and bad management.
