Two good chances during the 35 minutes of the first half through Marcus Rashford failed to become goals. Manchester City also didn't look very promising until 45 minutes. Erling Haaland had to come down to the centre of the pitch to pick up the ball. This means that Manchester United's midfield was very active throughout the first half.

The second half later, it looks like there will be a change in strategy for both teams. The Manchester United camp seems that Antony will be played by Erik ten Hag. If Rashford can continue the match until the end, then Martial will be the player who will be replaced by Antony considering that the first half has not seen Martial's role as an attacker.

The game looked to control the Manchester United players quite well some tense attacks from Rashford but that failed and in the first half the result was still 0-0.
The midfield side is pretty good I like this kind of play and being told Manchester United have been more impressive pretty sure it will be tough in the second half as well.

I saw just now that Rashford is in pain, is this going to be injured? I'm worried about that because he was on fire and kept scoring goals before.

Rashford is clearly needed in the second half because he is still very effective when he becomes the spearhead of the team. I don't expect him to get injured, because it will have a bad impact on Manchester United's attack. Instead of Rashford, maybe the option will be replaced with Antony, even though the one who deserves to be replaced is Martial. He's less likely to put a dangerous emphasis on it.

The second half will make Pep Guardiola emphasize more on all-out attack because he doesn't want this result to be a draw.

What a fantastic game between MU and MC,city is dominating the game but united  have lost up to three opportunities which they couldn't convert into a goal,there is still a deadlock that has not be broken yet by united team. Martial is really messing the game up,he is too slow and doesn't mack, his best was not good enough as this is affecting Rashford who is over working himself to make it possible for a goal.

Manchester city are trying their best, using the laxity of Martial as an advantage. Halaad wasn't given any opportunity to display his skill in scoring, but he has being trying to create chances for himself. It is still goalless draw and we are in the second half,let's see what will happen if City will be able to hold MU from scoring.

Attackers on the left and right need Antony and Garnacho to apply more aggressive pressure. Because you can see that Man United's attack power is quite lacking on the side. Most make breakthroughs into midfield which is often broken. If Antony and Garnacho were included it might be more effective. It's normal to expect Manchester City of to be in control of the game and have not quite seen Manchester United to have dominated the game even in the first half. They rather had more attempts on goal but City have been in charge of the game and they are in for the kill in this second half haven't registered one goal to there name.
It wasn't rocket science to know that, this is where Manchester United will get to lose point or have to share point with Manchester City. Unfortunately for them, Pep Guardiola isn't taking any chances at creating definitive lines with teams that could pose as rival for the trophy while still playing catch up with Arsenal.

I think, Erik ten Hag must be brave to back up Bruno Fernandes who is one of the factors of Manchester United's lack of creativity even though the referee has just admitted that the goal scored by Bruno was not in an offside position.
And the winning goal for Manchester United by Rashford just happened.

Extraordinary in the hands of Erik Ten Hag, now everything becomes unpredictable. This defeat of Manchester City gives Arsenal a chance to expand a difference to 8 points and 9 points to two Manchester clubs. The season is like to reserved for Arsenal and after 18 matches, they can actually think further about the trophy.

The match was incredible and intense in the second half. Manchester United was able to demonstrate great will to win and yes, it came as a surprise to everyone. During the match, it seemed that Manchester United was doomed to defeat, but they were able to withstand the onslaught of M.City and break their defense. This defeat could be fatal for M.City, as Manchester United are only one point behind them, and Arsenal can get much ahead if they win the game against Tottenham. M.City had a chance to hold their position, but Manchester United spoiled all their plans.
