Everton have been in a bad shape but I feel that is because they have lost some crucial players in last few transfer windows. Last night they were very strong initially but Arsenal were also loose in the beginning with the passes and all. But once we got the first goal it kinda broke apart for them and we got a dominating performance in last night's fixture. It was a great game and I would say it was pretty tough for Everton as well. Even after having a huge confidence from last few wins it still wasn't just that easy against Arsenal.

Everton never won a match in January, apart from the home win against Arsenal on February 4th which Arsenal fans were disappointed in the previous match, but were glad the last match (last night) was in favor of Arsenal, as they also took back the win, and it was a flawless performance by the players as they played with full confidence at home. In previous matches, Everton have always lost with either no goal or just one goal. I just hope they improve and get better players. I also hope they manage to win against Notts Forest on Sunday, which I think will still be a difficult game for Everton.

Now the title race can begin in earnest, both teams have played equal number of games, and Arsenal sit at the top of the summit 5 points above Manchester City, who themselves have to be very careful as Manchester United are just lurking right behind them, if City slip up again, they could find themselves in third place in the blink of an eye. 13 games to go and Arteta and his boys are pushing hard to be EPL champions, i guess everyone now believes that they were not just a fluke, but they meant business. Arsenal have a much easier game this weekend than City, another twist? Just maybe, City play Newcastle, whilst Arsenal are at home to Bournemouth and i can't see them dropping points, City are more likely to drop points this weekend.

As a Gunners fan, I hope City slip up again during the game against Newcastle. that way, Arsenal's chances of widening the gap from City are wide open. however, it seems difficult for Necastle to overthrow City at the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Gunners succeeded in overthrowing Everton with a landslide score. it's not wrong, if Arteta installed Trossard as the main starter to replace Nketiah's role. not infrequently, Trossard changed positions with Martinelli. every attack that Arsenal builds, is more effective and has variety than playing Nketiah who is a Target Man. With this result, Arsenal again widened the distance to 5 points from City.

But what concerns me, the Gunners' young squad has matches in other competitions. I hope Arsenal will continue to appear with a positive trend until the end of this season.

Although Liverpool won against Wolves their performance still doesn't seem convincing to me at all. Because they had a big problem on getting ahead despite being quite dominant. Nunez's goal was also disallowed which made things more difficult. Maybe after breaking the deadlock they found the second goal as well. But still they don't seem reliable for their upcoming matches in the league.

With this performance level they can't be inconsistent and qualify for the Champions League as well. In this case we might even see some star players starting to leave the team in the summer.

We still have a lot of games ahead of us, I am not as pessimistic as you. I think Liverpool can even finish third in the league, there is not much difference in points.
The team needs to be able to score more goals as soon as possible.
If they can provide that too, I think they'll be much better

The possibility is still there, they are now back on a good track and this is what they have to do.
Now Liverpool is in 6th place even though there is a lot of criticism for them but they are slowly rising again.
Now the conditions will be very good for Liverpool if they continue like this. Apart from them not getting a trophy this season everything could make this look disappointing but securing top 4 in the league is what they need to do.

Arsenal this season is in impressive form, they have successfully avenged Everton, with a strong 4-0 victory, they are currently leading the table, re-establishing the gap of 5 points with the second team Man City. In this match, they actively pushed up the squad and pressed Everton right after the opening whistle, the ball holding rate was up to nearly 74%.

We still have a lot of games ahead of us, I am not as pessimistic as you. I think Liverpool can even finish third in the league, there is not much difference in points.

After I was skeptical about Liverpool's condition now there is new hope for them and I'm happy about this.
Even though their condition has clearly decreased compared to last season, now with 3 wins 1 draw and 1 loss in the last 5 matches, of course it can still be said to be very good for them because before they even had difficulty doing this.

The good old days are not the current days, the current days has seen man United becoming one of the most organized club who have played good football even when they are at the point of dropping points. You better not out your hopes on Liverpool to win, if they don't you will be gutted so just be without a side even if you are Liverpool fan. I would have easily predicted that Newcastle will win this match pre World Cup time but considering their form since after that I think even a draw will be better for them. They let 2 goal lead away in the first leg but should that advantage arrive again I think they will take it well. Newcastle being shadow of themselves is because of the injury to the their midfielder Bruno Guimeries and the dependent that have place on the shoulder of Saint Maxima. When he was injured they played a free flow football but right now they depend on him to make things happen. And once he is maked out of a game, Newcastle suffers.

Most importantly for Liverpool they managed to not lose four games in a row. Now the goals were scored pretty late but Liverpool controlled the full game and rewarded themselves eventually. This was all that Klopp could go for in order to be perfectly prepared for one of the most important games of the season against Manchester United on Sunday.

Manchester United also didn't like what they saw from Liverpool now. It is a home game for Liverpool where they could make an important step towards the top four. For Manchester United a win would be a strong statement in the direction of Manchester City.

At the end of the day, it is really not that much of a shock to see Liverpool playing so well, and could beat almost anyone. Because they always had that talent in the team, they were already a good team and they had good players, the only thing lacking was "care", they played like they didn't care at all, it looks like that is gone now and that is the issue, we are looking at a situation where it is really just them coming back to how they were just last year, and that is very good. But, in overall it is really a bit of a chaos I agree as we do not know who will win against who because anything could happen at this moment, so betting is a bit harder than usual.

Oh I would certainly not underestimate Liverpool for a second and it was definitely not a shock to see them winning. It was more of a shock to see them losing the way they lost against Real Madrid.

Maybe now the time has come where the players realize that if they don't 100% or even 110% focus on their game and successful end results, none of them will be playing in the Champions League next year. Instead they will be sitting in front of the TV and watch the teams that play instead of them. That hurts them and everybody agrees probably that there is no more time to waste.
