The only threat arsenal has to stop them from winning the league is Manchester City, Manchester City are their biggest fear. I can see any team that can stop arsenal from winning the league this season.  Arsenal has a different of 9 points from Manchester City,  with this they are almost close to win.

Fulham performance yesterday was really poor, I was rooting for Arsenal to win but honestly I expected a really tough game. After the first 40 minutes of the game, I saw no efforts at all coming from Fulham then I realized that it was going to be a easy ride for Arsenal and it happened just as I later predicted.

in the first half Fullham's defense was too open. even the fullham defender made a lot of mistakes in the first half. so that Arsenal can take advantage of this gap and score 3 goals in the first half. But in the second half at least Fullham has improved their defense. And they also had several chances that came close to a goal but unfortunately only hit the crossbar. In this match Fullham did not put too much pressure on Arsenal. and instead Fullham continued to have difficulty in blocking Arsenal's attacks.

Fulham performance yesterday was really poor, I was rooting for Arsenal to win but honestly I expected a really tough game. The fragility of Fulham's defense made it very easy for Arsenal to score 3 goals in the first half and survive until the match was over. I think Fulham changed their strategy in the second half and it seems to be going quite well, but it's just that they couldn't minimize the defeat and couldn't score at all in this game.

Concerning the red card that was given casimiro in Manchester United match against Southampton. I strongly advise the management of Manchester United to appeal that red card because it is not deserving. Most times I question the officiating ability of the English Premier League referees. Especially when they would refuse to make use of the VAR even when there is an obvious need to use the electronic device.

Meanwhile Manchester United need to find a way to start playing well, even without their talisman midfielder in the pitch. If not, they will keep dropping points.

The refrees are humans and sometime can make some wrong decision in giving out red cards to players base on what they felt about the scenario in a given match, Which could throw the whole game in the favour of a particular team.

Midfield players are just like the engine of a car, There are kinds of players that their presence mean so much for a team, and in reality it does affect the club and I think this was the case for Manchester united during their game with Southampton and why they didn't do well as expected in their game and Casmero is that kind of player to United.

The referee is a human no matter if he uses the VAR or uses the traditional system he can still make mistakes and sometimes these mistakes can change the result of the game I'm not an expert to talk about his decision in the game but maybe the red card was a hard decision during this game he got the red card and Real Madrid played more than 60 minutes with 10 players while he they had full 11 players maybe they could win the game.

The ongoing title race between Arsenal and Man City has been so gripping that it's hard to look away. Man City hasn't had a poor season. Their 61 points from 27 games is clearly a title winning performance. But, Arsenal has been putting the pressure on and causing them to panic sometimes. This Arsenal team is youth and inexperience, yet success to dominate and keep pace. They should keep up their momentum for the next five games and watch either Man City drop some points or not. It's definitely an interesting situation, but I have a feeling that Arsenal will do everything to maintain their top of the standings.

Unbelievable with Arsenal's performance in this season keep consistency after 27 games playing and have 5 points difference with Manchester City, usually started second half season Arsenal will underperformance but difference with this season keep consistency and always in the winning trend until have played 27 games with 66 points collected.

Two games later in Primer League, Arsenal seems easy keep continue three points achievement because on the paper against Crystal Palace and Leeds United seems not problem winning the games for Arsenal. Difference with Manchester City up coming two games later against West Ham United and Liverpool, West Ham seems easy for City but don't sure against Liverpool are possibility to get three points?

Last weekend was nit as exciting as the previous one and this is because most of the matches ended in either draw or just a goal, only Asernal managed to put through a commendable performance which gave them a 3 goals in the first half, and was able to maintain that till the end of the 90 minutes.

I don't think Fulham's performance was bad. They played well enough. I would say the performance we expect from Fulham, they played as well. A total of 12 shots were made by Fulham's players. Fulham has not been in good form in the last few matches. But the performance of the Arsenal players was outstanding. They scored three goals in the first half. Fulham's players could not take advantage in the second half due to being behind by 3 goals at the end of the first half. Then they tried hard enough. I don't think Fulham could have given more effort against a team like Arsenal.

As I understand from his post, he wants to say "if manchester city lose their next 2 games while Arsenal win their next 2 games". If this situation happen, yes the gap will be 11 points. Both teams still need to play 11 matches in EPL, so anything may still happen as the current gap is 5 points only which is mathematically a 2 matches difference. Yes consistency will be the main key of success, if Arsenal lose their consistency while City play consistently, it is not impossible that Arsenal will lose their position.

City doesn't really have that much of a hard game facing them, I am sure they can beat Southampton at least, and probably have the talent to win every single game until the end of the season, but may lose points of course. The thing is that the five point difference is not too big enough to actually mean something just yet, if the league gets closer even five points will mean a lot, after all if it is the last 2 games then it is unlikely Arsenal would lose right?

But, we can get it even beforehand, like for example when there are five or six games left. This is why Arsenal doesn't need to win, they need to keep the point difference the same for a while longer, only lose points when City does.

As a Gunners fan, I hope Arsenal can go through the rest of their matches with positive results. that way, Arsenal still maintain a distance of points from their toughest rival, namely City. after all, Arsenal do not have a schedule of matches as tight as City this season. so, it is very likely that City can slip in some of their matches. because, after playing a match in the Champions League against Leipzig in the second leg, City also has another match in the FA Cup. meaning, Pep Guardiola does not only focus on one trophy.  however, City's real goal is the Champions League. So, I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few matches City has the potential to slip. plus, City also still has tough matches until the end.

To be honest, with 11 games remaining until the end of the season. City has the opportunity to overtake the leaders of the standings by only five points adrift. but I hope, with the return of Gabriel Jesus, plus a number of other players who can be relied on up front or in midfield, the Gunners' performance will remain on the winning track until the mission of winning the Premier League trophy is realized.

Do you really see that happening? Of course the game is open for any possibility and for even Newcastle to take the league but, we know it's not going to happen. We've seen Manchester CIty not take there chances to close in on the point gaps between them and Arsenal when they did let out chances and we've also seen Arsenal come up with incredible performance to ensure the point gap when we least expected them to.
Its is more of a guarantee for Arsenal to win there next games and consequently the league trophy than we can say for Manchester City.  Manchester City looks like a team that can still lose games but not so much for Arsenal.

Take a look at their fixture lists and judge which team has the harder fixtures I think Manchester City are going to struggle in their current form but Arsenal play a lot of lower tier teams who they should be able to beat. Manchester City are still in the Champions League which might affect their performances in the Premier League too.

I'm not completely convinced though now 5 points ahead of Manchester City. It's true that the match against Man.City will be the decisive match, but don't forget Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle who are classified as going to be difficult. I also hope that Arsenal can emerge as champions, so that the Premier League will look more competitive and not be called a farmers' league.

Manchester United had a bad week I'm afraid. This was definitely a winnable game for them normally. But Casemiro's getting a red card made some changes in the plans.

Casemiro's tackle was really so unnecessary. I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose but there was nothing to do about it later. Manchester United had bigger problems in defense after his being sent off as a result. Southampton had very important goal chances. Ward-Prowse's free-kick was really lovely as always but he targeted the goal post. There was another time their shot hit the goal post. Of course Manchester United also found some big chances. Fernandes' shot to the right corner was amazing but Bazunu's save was the same also.

Rashford's desperate attempt to fake his fall for a penalty was also funny to watch.
