This could definitely be a huge blow for his team, but at the same time, we know that City has the potential to win matches even without him. There is one thing that always happens whenever Liverpool and Manchester City are to face each other in the English Premier League.
That thing that happens is that people always forget the head-to-head between the two clubs.
Whenever there is match between these two giants. I always do not forget the head-to-head record. If you are looking at the current form Liverpool is not in any way a match to Manchester City, but we will all understand that every match between Liverpool and Manchester City is always a problem for Manchester City.

It's too soon to equate Arteta with Wenger because after all, Wenger has a long history at Arsenal but for Arteta I think Arteta is just starting to be successful. So yes, it still needs another good result to level Arteta with Wenger who then you can call a legend.

Liverpool Football club have not been at their best this season despite them winning few games and their record breaking win against Manchester United this season before losing to Bournemouth the next weekend then going on to play a goalless draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League which also brought them back to nothing this season. Liverpool can't stand Manchester city in this game no matter how hard they will try because city has a more better and balanced team and playing in their home is an additional advantage for them to mesmerize the Liverpool team with lots of goals.

But their performance is erratic only because of their poor match strategy. If Liverpool's match strategy is good against Manchester City, they have a chance to win. But Guardiola is an experienced coach. I think he has identified Liverpool's weaknesses very well. I expect Manchester City to win against Liverpool.

Obviously Liverpool have had some challenges this season they are a talented team capable of turning things around. They have a history of doing well in big games and their recent improvement is a good sign. I don't think I can expect much from their current condition, especially in terms of position.

It's really hard to predict Chelsea games in the Premier League because they do have not a stable situation at all. They won some games recently including the match in the champions league against Dortmund but on the other hand, they lost many other games against weak teams in the Premier League in which they could easily win, so even in the best situation for Chelsea I don't think if there is any chance for them to be on top of the table.

I agree with the need for players homogenization in a team since the club signed few number of new players and this make a vacuum in the team play if there is not much training so that the players can blend with each other before meeting any opposition.
Lack of team cooperation has affected some clubs this season take the example of Chelsea and Liverpool who despite the high profile new players in the clubs there have not been able to deliver the matches, this is major because the players have not really blended with each other before the leagues started.
