I enjoyed Newcastle's game against West Ham... They showed they have no intention of losing ground in the standings... Man U also beat Brentford, but could have played better... They are probably deservedly below Newcastle even though they have the same amount of points... I'd like to see Newcastle qualify for the Champions League next season...

well it seems everyone agrees that Newcastle deserve to qualify for the Champions League. and we must also be curious about how far Newcastle can go if one day they are given the opportunity to play in the Champions League. usually Newcastle is not very prolific in scoring goals. but in the game against Westham we saw a different performance which was much better than the Newcastle club.

To play today's match in Premier League, Man United vs Brentford, these two teams entered the field. Man United performed well in the beginning of the game, but Man United could not score any goals after the half time of the game. Brentford was behind by 1 goal in the whole game and 1 due to poor play in the first half of the game.  Brentford lost the match for goals. Man United team player M. Rashford scored 1 goal in 27 minutes to win Man United.

Brentford, flat for large parts of the first half, but they were much better in the second half of the game. I haven’t seen them play that poor before this season. I don’t know why the manager set up the team that way. Manchester wanted the win more than them so they got it. Now Manchester United are level on 53 points with third-placed Newcastle and 3 points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham, who have played one more game than their rivals.

Before the game started, I thought that Brentford would dominate the midfield because of the formation they play. Brentford used a 3-5-2 formation and I guess this could be a tough challenge for Man United who has to play without Casemiro. But what happened on the field was the opposite, where Man United was more in control of the game (especially in the first half). Even though Sabitzer and McTominay are still far from optimal, but they can play as they should, and it makes their rhythm look good.

Sometimes Brentford were using 4-3-3 in the several matches but often too they will used 3-5-2 and in my opinion why Brentford coach using 3-5-2 against Manchester United it because they know the quality of Manchester United midfielders is above to them so Brentford has attempts not to allow the players from Manchester United to move more freely and besides that Brentford is the team who had typical to playing with counter attack style and according to their statistics during this season Brentford weren't good from ball possession

But at least Manchester United can take revenge from Brentford and finally they can able to win after poor results from their previous matches and the most important is Manchester United finally has occupy top 4 again

It's always unlucky for coaches when they keep changing their pattern because of what they expect from the opponent team. This same mistake Guardiolla did against Chelsea I'm the UCL final last season. This ended him in losing the match.
Brentford players are always wild and free with a 4 3 3 formation.  It was actually 5 3 2 formations which on the other way resulted in 3 5 2.  But The 3 5 2 formation favors midfield and it's not a bad idea,  but it works perfectly with a creative left/right back Who has the potential of playing also like a left winger and right winger respectively. Otherwise, the flank will become more vulnerable causing the midfielders too much work. That was the challenge Brentford faced against MU.

We are well aware of Brentford capability and that's why am still wondering what the hell is wrong with this team tonight, their handling of the ball has been very poor and doesn't seem like the Brentford team that actually played out a 3-3 draw with Brighton on their previous match. Manchester United on the other hand, have control the match quite well, I will also add that the game was quite boring in the first half as Manchester United were the only actually playing the ball, hopefully maybe the second half will yield a different outcome from both teams.

No doubt Brentford were not able to perform as they need to be done against struggling Manchester United which won first game after having humiliating defeat against Liverpool by 7 - 0 and score their first goal in Premier League after 297 minutes, but good thing happen for them, they fight back timely and now have secured their fourth spot with this win even we can have some changes in near future but with this performance and strength they can end this season with good results.

In second half Brentford done better performance but still unable to secure goal and bring themselves back at level now in next round Manchester United going to host Everton which could be also an easy game for them.

Congratulations to Manchester united for the favour they embraced from the match to moved to 4 position in the premier league table. It was a tough match for both team, despite Manchester united scored the first goal at 27 minutes to weak the strength of Brentford in the second half but Brentford nearly equalize the goal in the second half, because their coach made some changes that made their defense more stronger for Manchester united players not to have access to their goalpost again. I think, Manchester united coach need to work on some players so that what happened in this match will not happen again, because Manchester united had many opportunities to score more than two goals in the first half but they missed use it.

I thought Lampard going to Chelsea was just a rumour but after looking up the news on the internet it's true that he will be interm manager there until the end of the season, maybe Chelsea will improve a bit with him replacing Potter but it won't be a great journey because he's just an average manager so far has been proven when Everton sacked him, so he has been sacked twice for not being able to bring his team to perform well, but because he was at Chelsea only temporarily so it doesn't matter it's just that I saw Boehly again make the wrong decision for his club.

On Saturday Chelsea will play against Wolves this is the first test for Lampard and it happens in away games, Wolves may not be stronger than them but beating Tottenham and Liverpool at home must be a concern for Chelsea because maybe it will also be experienced by them losing or only being able to play draw.

So, I'm really excited to see what Newcastle can achieve this season. They're looking very serious these days, and it's going to be difficult for anyone to stop them.

Also, out of the last 10 matches, they won only 5 matches, lost three more and drew twice, lacking stability, but these losses were from City, Manchester United and Liverpool, so perhaps this is quite natural. Newcastle have every chance to finish the season in the top 4, this is quite an attainable goal.

This season is a season where Newcastle have managed to show a very good game, they can compete in the race for the top 4 of the standings, something that is very rare even if I'm not mistaken they have never done that. Now they are in 3rd place with 53 points, the same points as Manchster United. If they can maintain their form, I'm sure they will finish in the top 4 at the end of the competition.

Better for Manchester United staying below Tottenham, they didn't only win last match to be in their favour, they also have another match to conquer to reach the current match week of the league which round 29, that been said. I think they should be able to win their next match with Everton with the way they are in form, that will hep Manchester to stay ahead of Newcastle if they failed to convert their next match to points.

It is possible for the Manchester United and Newcastle to finish the league on the top 4, they still have strong forms and I think your are right about Arsenal winning Newcastle but I don't think they have good chance of winning except Frank Lampard has a method to transfrom the blues for good this time.

After losing from Manchester City 2-0, Newcastle United was able to get up and  three wins in the last three matches for making them consistent on top fourth position. I think crucial winning from Manchester United last two games and make them success drop Manchester to 4th position and Newcastle United success back to 3rd position.

Newcastle United has the opportunity to get a ticket in the Champions League next season depending on the remaining 10 matches, if they can win it will be the first time for Nnewcastle to play in the Champion League after long absence. I think Newcastle United chance for finishing on top fourth standing above 60% due have one match left than Spur and with 6th team have different many points.

Brentford even if they're underdog's are not such a weak side, non should forget they won Manchester United during the early games of the season, that game was an eye opener for the coach and the players. It wasn't a good way to win rather Manchester United was won by four goals to nothing.

Sabitzer yesterday was impressive, I loved the link up between him and Marcus Rashford, now Rashford knows how to position and stay in the right space for whatever goal. He's goal was nice.
And they defended very well too, Everton would be early kickoff, they should wrap things up immediately and go preparing for Sevilla during the Europa League Competition.

 Brentford which looked far from their best when they played man united. Man United's Marcel Sabitza and Scott mc tominay control possession and Brentford hardly had a touch on the ball United controlled the midfield making sure every pass was accurate they never lost possession early, throughout the first half. The two clubs both Manchester United and Newcastle will continue to compete for third place. But if you look so far the difference between the two can almost be said to be thin with their respective advantages. Newcastle has been waiting for this moment for a long time and with sufficient finances, they can more easily accumulate expensive players next season. Manchester United is a giant club, of course, this makes competition fierce, for Manchester United, 3rd place is a dead price that must be achieved at the end of this season. I have a mixed feeling about this short term appointment. But looking at it from the owners perspective, there just 10 games remaining and I think it's a right decision they have made instead of rushing into things not well assessed, it is better you get Lampard as an interim manager as there looking to bring in a good manager slowly. Hopefully he's able to win majority of the remaining games in the PL, and try to finish in the Europa league places. Also, the owners need to make a good decision with the permanent manager. So far, all the decisions made haven't gone anywhere.

Indeed, if we look at the last few matches played by Newcastle, they always score at least an average of 2 goals in every match which results in a win. Especially in last night's game Wilson and Joelinton also recorded a brace. But other players like Alexander Isak also don't want to lose to always contribute goals in every Newcastle game. I would be very happy if Newcastle filled the top 4 at the end of the season instead of watching Spurs always fail in the Champions League competition.

This is an extraordinary achievement for a team that most people consider weak. Newcastle has proven that he can be in third place in the standings, although some people still don't seem to believe this. At first I also thought that way, but everything has been proven that Newcastle now cannot be considered a weak team.

For some reason, this season, most big clubs, such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, have seen a slump, where they were beaten by several weak clubs.
