Lampard is a caretaker for chelsea until the end of the season but if todd was extending his contract and i think that what you were saying above will not be the reality. Sometimes a team is already forced to built a team even stronger but chelsea was doing it differently. Chelsea was even making the team even weaker from time to the time. Basically, chelsea has enough time to sign a professional coach who regularly coaches the world-class club but todd was always taking unpredictable decisions that leads the team into lose streaks. Winning against madrid is a must for chelsea.

Chelsea will not participate in UCL upcoming season if this club will not able to win UCL this season. It's caused by chelsea even going into the relegation zone along with some meaty clubs. I don't even know what to say about chelsea right now but calling it as worst club in EPL is already represented everything. During the first half, Arsenal actually played strangely, lots of long passes and didn't play from foot to foot. Chelsea this season is very bad, just like MU in the past. I don't understand why Lampard is coaching Chelsea again even though he needs to move up the table, whereas in the past when Lampard was coaching Chelsea he was also not convincing, the same was when he was coaching Everton. Why didn't Chelsea look for an experienced coach, rather than one who needs experience? What does Chelsea want? The most shocking game was Crystal Palace vs. Leeds, it wasn't just a regular soccer match but ended 5:0 Such attacks from Crystal Palace were not what I had anticipated.

Arsenal did well right from the start of this season, and if things goes well with Asernal in the remaining games of the season but also we can not celebrate Arsenal too much at this point where the 1st spot position is threatened by their closest opponent playing 1:1 against Liverpool is something that has causes a lot of concern for their fans.

But if Arsenal manage to win the next couple of games their will be placed at a safer side and could concentrate on the championships more.

So yes, even though it is a draw, this result is well deserved for Liverpool and Arsenal with the 1 point it gets.

But what will be bad is that they then cannot get any points in the next match, and that usually happens or is experienced by Liverpool. Because Liverpool will only play with excellent gameplay only when playing against top teams, but Liverpool will be very worried when Liverpool play against mediocre teams.

I second that, i think if Chelsea get a very good manager this summer who can organize the team and effectively use the players Chelsea have at their disposal, then they'll be a big threat in the EPL next season. They are only going to be playing domestic football next season (EPL, Fa cup and Carabao cup), thus they'll concentrate on the EPL, and if their new manager, whoever it is, gets things right, then Chelsea might be serious contenders for the EPL next season, but that is still sometime away. Right now Lampard's job is to give Chelsea a dignified/respectable finish this season, it would be pretty bad if they finish in the bottom half of the table, thus a top half of the table finish and to give Madrid a tough game (even though i know they'd lose), might just be what they can achieve this season.

They are only going to be playing domestic football next season (EPL, Fa cup and Carabao cup), thus they'll concentrate on the EPL, and if their new manager, whoever it is, gets things right, then Chelsea might be serious contenders for the EPL next season, but that is still sometime away. the owner of chelsea announced that lampard was only a temporary coach for chelsea until this season ended, that means if chelsea's achievements increased in the hands of lampard then he would continue to train chelsea but if not, he had to comply with his temporary contract at the beginning it was to become a temporary coach

with the many young talents that Chelsea currently has, they really need to be in the hands of the right coach and Nagelmann is a great choice to become the next Chelsea coach

The draw that was achieved against Liverpool is certainly regretted by Arsenal. Now their hopes of winning the Premier League are getting tougher because it is highly likely that Manchester City will be able to catch them. April 29 will be the final for Manchester City and Arsenal. If The Citizens are able to overturn the team from London then of course Pep's chances of taking over the top of the standings from the Gunners are even more real because Man.City also has one game remaining that has not been played.
