The race for the top four is heating up right at the end, two spots are already taken (by City and Arsenal), thus we have 2 spots left and i must say, quite a lot of teams are battling it out for these spots: Newcastle, Manchester United, Liverpool and prolly even Brighton with the way they have been playing all season. Mind you that Newcastle and Manchester United are in the driving seat to get that 2 coveted spots that's left, but in this game anything can happen from now until the end of the season, but a couple of wins in the remaining 4 games should see the both of them get over the line.

There is many races in EPL actually. Arsenal missed the opportunity of running alone and they are now following City for the hunt of the first rank. There is a battle for the remaining 2 spots of Champions League that Spurs seems to not want it after its bad results lately. Even ManU are missing points. Liverpool are advancing good but they are late and Brighton still lacks 2 goals. Here we are talking also about Europa League and Conference League spots. BTW Spurs might risk being kicked from all of them.
The relegation zone is still sensitive with many teams having a very close points gap. Southampton are almost out. The other teams aren't safe.

Manchester United's defeat to Brighton has made Liverpool's distance even closer, which means Liverpool have the opportunity to shift Manchester United to 4th place, if they continue to lose, of course they won't get a UCL ticket next season, considering that Liverpool are also currently focused on fighting for position. It was some way to lose by Manchester United today and if we are being frank to ourselves, Brighton Hove Albion played better football than we can say fir Manchester United. Yes them both made the game entertaining, the chances where not lacking and they sure did make the goalkeepers come by some good saves but, it took till the last minute to find an opening with that penalty shoot.

Luke Shaw practically sold the match for Brighton Hove Albion today and I don't see how the referee shouldn't have called in on a penalty.

There was nothing wrong about the timing. The final minutes of added time was besieged with corners and series of attacks around the box until the Luke Shaw moment presented itself. Few minutes in communication with the VAR team, getting to see for himself @Referee, MacAllister taking the penalty and seconds for a restart. Ain't nothing unusual about that.

They have tried their best, it's just that in this match, Brighton was much better and with their condition, which did have an even squad, the scheme that Manchester United carried out was chaotic.

I do respect your all analyses about this all but if you are able to check remaining matches then go ahead because I just check and having feeling most chances we are not going to have any change in top four spots because just Brighton is the toughest side, but they have three matches against Newcastle United, Arsenal and Manchester City which are never been easy so with this all Liverpool and Tottenham are already lost their chance for the top four so most chances we will have Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United as top four with Liverpool, Aston Villa and Brighton will be fight for the remaining three spots and Tottenham after having the worst time in last few weeks going to be out of the top seven.

Yesterday the bookie has provide Brighton as the favourite and Manchester United as underdog but i have try to ignore this record because i thought Manchester United will be able to win the match but i was wrong because during the match i can see Brighton has displayed impressive performance and they were dominate ball possessions

I were avoiding to bet on this match caused by brighton was performing so well in EPL with zerbi. MU was losing against brighton which was also triggering so many fans to blame the club. It is very clear that Manchester United's weaknesses lie on the front and back lines. The lack of goal contribution in the ranks of the attackers and also the weak defensive wall is not something that is good for the top four teams. Fortunately Ten Hag can still make some changes in the team since he took charge of MU. But I'm not sure for next season if Ten Hag will again rely on several players in that sector. He certainly has to hunt for a new striker like Harry Kane who is a typical striker who has a high instinct to score goals and also has high cruising range. Likewise with the defense, Ten Hag also needs to add to the stock of defenders who can close the gap when Varane and Martinez are left.
