In my opinion Newcastle will finish the season in that third position and Liverpool will finish second.

Tottenham had bad results when they had Conte as a coach but recently and after they got him fired they had even worst results. Now Tottenham will have no luck against a team like Aston Villa especially when you check how well Aston Villa performed in recent weeks.

Both of these teams still have three matches left including for the match which will take place tomorrow at home to Aston Villa. I think these two teams will continue to take advantage of the remaining matches that still exist for full points even though they have to fight hard so whoever the coach is at this time will definitely try to do everything in his power to win so I won't judge either of them good or bad their performance from their previous performances.

They are far from good this season and even continue to be unable to compete with teams that have started to rise this season. Even if we look at the beginning of last season they were always able to give a pretty good performance but now they are thrown in 6th place in the standings, right below Liverpool with a difference of 5 points. This week they will face Aston Villa who are on fire and I don't think they will be able to do anything especially since this is an away game for Spurs. I will bet on Aston Villa's win of course and hope Spurs will lose this game again.

Tottenham experienced bad things when they started to enter a crucial period in the competition. The result is that they have to lose a lot of points and make it difficult for them to compete in the top 4 or even the top 5 in the standings. Their weak defense was one of the factors why they suffered a lucky defeat. Now they are 5 points behind Liverpool who are in 5th place and 6 points behind 4th place which is now occupied by Manchester United. If the 2 clubs I mentioned earlier win this week, then their hopes will be buried to be able to compete in the Europa League and Champions League next season.

So far, Aston Villa are in 8th place and in that case they will be without euro cup. Brighton have two games in hand and Liverpool are probably already out of reach and maybe even thinking about the top 4, so the main fight for a place in the EL will be between Aston Villa and Tottenham.

It is very interesting to look forward to which teams will eventually compete in European competition, both the Champions League and the European League. Manchester United, which had previously looked safe in the top 4 because it had fewer matches than its competitor in fifth place, actually experienced bad results in several matches, especially defeats to Brighton and West Ham making them even more approachable by Liverpool. Brighton lost to Everton with a landslide score that raised doubts about them being able to move up if they had already played their postponed game and Tottenham was still unstable so from the remaining matches it was still very possible to get a bad result, Aston Villa, who had winning streak, now has two consecutive defeats, and I think Liverpool will go to European competition so until the season ends the standings from positions 1 - 5 will not change.
After losing to Arsenal last week, I think Newcastle will come back to play like they play and beat Leeds United even though it will be an away game for Newcastle, Newcastle is quite good when dealing with bottom teams like Leeds who are fighting to get out of the relegation zone but it already looks difficult for them to survive and keep playing in the Premier League next season.

Even if totenham win this game and it will have no chance to enter into the top 4. MU is still having 1 more match compared with liverpool and totenham. That means manchester united is still owning 1 lives remaining if the team was losing full points unlike totenham and liverpool which has been playing 35 matches and those clubs have only three matches remaining at this moment. Totenham is still having around 5 points gap in the liverpool and 6 points in the MU.

It's impossible for totenham to play in UCL next season. Playing in europa league is far better rather than getting nothing at the end of season. You can even calculate the possibility that owned by totenham to enter into the top 4 which is almost zero chance for totenham.
I will prefer to see newcastle play in UCL rather than totenham.

You are right with all your facts,it will be impossible for them to go the champions league next season because they have two clubs that are stronger than Tottenham ahead of them,and these two clubs are Manchester united and Liverpool. They should think of settling down for the Europa cup next season. Tottenham will not even perform better than any of these two clubs if they are even lucky to be in UCL next season. Let Tottenham think of winning the rest of their matches to see what fate has for them because I don't think that they will be able to get all 9 points on the three unplayed matches.

I agree that it will be hard for them to qualify ahead of these two teams but am in doubt about them performing less compare to the two teams ahead if eventually they qualified for the champions league. Tottenham have played in the champions league before and they did well by even reaching the finals that season but they were very unlucky to lose out the finals to same Liverpool that's ahead of them now. Tottenham was actually doing fine at the Start of season before things just suddenly turned sideways and they found themselves in this tight corner they are now.

Newcastle have done a great work so far and they are very close to guaranteeing their qualification for the Champions League group stage. They just need to continue getting good results again. The defeat against Arsenal was really sad for them because these points losses for Newcastle and Manchester United are helping Liverpool very much to catch up with them.

About that, Tottenham had a good history in the Champions League once in a season. If you remember the 2018/19 season finale in the Champions League Tottenham qualified for the finale back then. This was really the closest moment to the title for them but Liverpool beat them by 2-0 anyway. It was a really bad upset for Tottenham because they don't do much thing in the Champions League normally.

I remember that but totenham lost. it will always be like that.
I remind you that if totenham was also very close to win EPL but chelsea was destroying the dream from totenham to win EPL.

They need to address the mentality problem or no prestigious trophy forever.

As for today Tottenham still need to make a huge improvement to even repeat this team record in the Champions League. Kane is the most diligent player in the squad currently. He has scored so many goals for his team throughout the season but there are still big holes in their team effort. If Kane leaves also then I can't even think how bad they would be. 

The point is, it doesn't matter how hard totenham is trying the the result will always be the same. Even though if kane may leave from the club in summer and totenham is still having some good players like richarlison and son.
The chance for totenham to play in UCL again next season is disappearing since it has gotten bad results in a row.

It was difficult for the Spurs to finish in the top four, considering their declining performance. 3 games remaining, and even then it is possible that the Spurs will get minor results and even slip when they travel to Aston Villa headquarters. referring to the available odds, bookies favor the home team. that means, Aston Villa has the probability to overthrow the Spurs in the meeting later. Newcastle must not miss their chance to end the league in 3rd place in the standings. Leeds is an easy opponent if we compare as a whole, so there should be no reason for Leeds not to be able to win this game. Although they will act as guests, their strength is far above Leeds.
