I'm really angry at Arsenal's performance today. You just can't let this kind of a game slip through your fingers while you are in a title race. Brighton were in a vulnerable state actually after losing to Everton by a big score. But Brighton are still playing magically against big teams of the league. This was one of the examples for that.

But this was still a very heavy loss for Arsenal home. What were they thinking in the first place? You had only the Premier League title chance left in hand.

Manchester City are at the edge of lifting the league trophy after Arsenal lost to Brighton today, now a win in their next game to Brighton will put the trophy in their hands for the third time in a role. Arsenal fans will be so disappointed with the results of today’s game. The Premier league is finally over, this loss to Brighton just gave Manchester City a clear part to league victory. What can I say Arsenal always find a way to disappoint their fans.

Arsenal played so far 36 games while City played 35 and they are in the first place with 4 points gap.
Basically Arsenal have to win the other two games vs Nottingham and Wolves. Could that be guaranteed? I doubt. At the same time, they have to see City losing all their 3 games vs Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford. That's quite impossible. Manchester City will be declared champions by Monday 21, at the end of Chelsea match.

Arsenal winning there 2 remaining games isn't going to make any difference now. Its 4points difference between them @Manchester City  @Arsenal and a chance for Manchester City to easily push that point gap to 7points. So, should Manchester City even get to lose the rest of there games afterwards, they'll still have a point that keeps them at the top till the league ends. The EPL title is decided already, Arsenal made that decision in there series of draws/loses and its a big lose for Arsenal's plan A. At least, they've got to settle for a plan B where they get to qualify for the UCL next season.  Pep could chill now while setting his eyes on the one title that matters now, the UCL.

I can't wait for the next game between the two teams in the Champions League, but in the Premier League Gündogan has once more delivered a great show against Everton. His body control when he scored the first goal was impressive.

Yes, it was impressive on how he scored that goal. He didn’t have to look to know where the goal was and succeeded to flick the ball towards the goal without having to turn around. An inexperienced player can’t successfully pull of that move without some sort of luck. Gündoğan Is an experienced player.

I particularly liked his goal scored from a free kick position. That goal too showed a player with skills. There wasn’t much pressure on the shot yet he was able to very precise and had the ball go over everyone’s head and into the goal. A very good goal. He was impressive in scoring both goals in this game.

I couldn't agree more. I like this type of player. They are working hard for the team, are never too focused on looking great themselves and put the team's success above all else. The times come when they can reward themselves with an outstanding goal like that. As you said, an unexperienced player can't do that, but it is not only about experience. It is a lot about space orientation on the pitch and a well functioning memory of the game situation that a player noticed right before receiving the cross ball. If Gündogan didn't know that the goalkeeper was standing where he stood, he wouldn't have tried to softly ship the ball into the left bottom corner. You can tell from the power that Gündogan applied that he perfectly understood the game situation in that moment and exactly knew what would be needed to take the ball into the back of the net. Too many players go too hard in many situations. I love to see smart scorers who know that just a slight touch and decent precision is enough to beat the goalkeeper because you can tell from his positioning what he will be speculating on. That is next level soccer. No doubt that a 30 yards shot into the upper right corner is nice to watch, but the smart goals are as well once you understand what it takes to develop that ability.

They won it earlier than expected with a shock defeat from Arsenal under Everton hours ago.

However this win of Manchester City is not perfect as in late minutes, they got a bad news with an injury for Rodri. Pep said in the press conference that Rodri will be fine and ready for a semi final match with Real Madrid next week but we never know what will happen with Rodri injury and his recovery.

Gundogan just have an outstanding match with two fantastic goals for Manchester City. He again scored two goals in a single match and still chase for a hattrick in his career.

I think they dominated later than expected. I thought they were going to take the lead by December last year and just run away with it from January to the end of the season. They were meant to win if you look at the depth of their squad right from the start of the season. Kudos to Arsenal for making it difficult somehow.

Although it's bad for Arsenal to lose the title after many hope and impression they made in this season, Arsenal can use this season and what they harvested from it to move forwards and become stronger. At least what they have achieved from this season, gives them enough belief and confidence that they are strong and competitive enough to compete with Manchester City.

They can improve themselves to become stronger, more stable in their performances to compete better against Manchester City. In a next season, maybe Haaland will have more troubles when clubs in Premier League and their defenders will be more familiar with Haaland style and will constrain Haaland better.

After the first half was over, I no longer continued to watch the second half because I wasn't really interested in seeing how Arsenal played. Maybe we can congratulate Manchester City because they will be sure to win the English Premier League this season, and the next match against Chelsea seems like there is nothing to worry about because Chelsea has only been a mid-table team this season, they have only been able to draw at Stamford Bridge against Nottingham Forest after the previous match raised hopes because they could win with a landslide score from Bournemouth.

I am not surprised by this result, firstly, I have to admit that Brighton has played very extraordinary this season, even though they are not consistent, their performance was quite good against the top Premier League teams and secondly, all of this is inseparable from Arsenal's downturn or their loss of motivation. because they were 4 points behind Manchester City (initially) so they thought it was no longer possible to compete for the title.

before this result, Manchester City was almost certain to win the Premier League title this season, just waiting for Manchester city.

and for Arsenal, whatever happens finishing in the top 4 this season is good enough for them, and Arteta managed to make significant changes in the Arsenal team.

Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine Roberto De Zerbi was jobless after leaving Shakhtar Donetsk, Brighton was fortunate to get him. This Italian has changed the fortune of Brighton making the club a top contender for the Europa League group stage. I just hope this wonderful coach will not get the same experience he got in the Seria A when his club Sassuolo lost out on UEFA Conference League qualification to Roma because of goal difference.

Poor defending, weak midfield, and wasteful attackers contributed to this show of disgrace. Arsenal just surrendered the league title to Manchester City dishonorably. We have stopped seeing the masterpiece passes and runs from the Arsenal midfield. Relying on Chelsea to stop City is like hoping on the brake of a car to stop a moving train. Even if Chelsea beats City there is no guarantee that the Gunners will defeat Nottingham and Wolves judging from Arsenal's current performance.

not only about Potter but they lost a lot of core players like Dan Burn, Cucurella, Trosard and Bissouma who did go to several other big clubs in the EPL but interestingly they were able to overcome the crisis and remain strong as a dark horse team.

It's no wonder Brighton has a dangerous squad. They managed to conquer several giant clubs such as Man united, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Furthermore, it is Newcastle that needs to be watched out for, the Brighton club is in a frightening form. It is likely that next Friday they will beat Newcastle.

The crushing defeat to Brighton was quite embarrassing and Arteta apologized to all Arsenal fans for failing to win a trophy this season. Man City still has pride in being the leader of the premier league.
on the other hand Arsenal were very sad when they were humiliated by Brighton at home to Arsenal with a score of 0-3 and a little regretted betting on Arsenal with my prediction that at least the score could be 2-0 or 2-1 but it turned out not according to my prediction Arsenal had a drop in performance after Man City topped the standings.

Arteta has even made apologize for the fans caused by it doesn't even meet its target. Odegaard was also avoid to talk about the chance of arsenal to win EPL. If manchester city will able to win against chelsea and that means if EPL already locked by city.

Their win today means that they need just  two wins from the remaining league fixtures to be retain their title and win their 4th premier league title in the last five seasons. What a glorious era it's been for the club since the arrival of Pep Guardiola.

In this case, I quite agree, because for the current conditions, Manchester City is indeed quite flexible, whether it's the core or reserve squad, they do have players who are above average, which makes it very difficult for other clubs because even if there is a massive rotation, it's still like core players, but it doesn't matter much for them.
Now looking at Arsenal's increasingly chaotic condition after the defeat against Brighton indirectly this will only be a very profitable condition for Manchester City because 1 win will allow them to bring back the trophy this season.
Now they will only focus on Leg 2 in the Champions League and then immediately prepare for the celebration against Chelsea because I'm sure they will win there
