After last two matches, Arsenal dropped points. I think this match will be a prove to the general public and their fans that they are back strongly to keep competing for the Premier League title because they need such a comeback in their performance in order to maintain their chance of being title contenders this season because they actually missed their chance, which will make them go above Liverpool in their last two matches.

Winning the first game of the year after dropping from first to third place with more games played isn't something to brag about just yet, especially against a poor Crystal Palace side that hasn't won Arsenal since Patrick Vieira first season in charge, and since he left, it's been a playing ground for Arsenal.

Nevertheless, Arsenal had a great performance today; they played well with the intention of winning the match because they really needed these three points. Arsenal has now moved to the third position with the same points as Manchester City and Aston Villa. This is a tough time in the Premier League. All the top teams with the hope of winning the league will be very focused on all their matches; they will not want to lose any match, and the match between them will be the determinant of their respective positions.

The league is currently too open to discussing title challenges, and we are approaching the point where losing a point could mean a lot, but we are not there yet. A lot might change for a few clubs that have some of their best players at the AFCON and Asian Cup if they stay longer than expected.

Arsenal experienced an improvement compared to their performance in the first half. Their rhythm of play in the second half looked quite good and it looked like they were really dominating the game. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, although they had several chances, it was a shame they didn't have a good finishing touch. Though I commend Arsenal for their awesome display against Crystal palace today by winning them by 5:0 they really did well but notwithstanding their performance today, I hope they continue in this spirit not after winning palace by this huge goals they will now go and lose to a minor club as that has been the challenges Arsenal have been facing for sometime now. I believe if they remain determined to bounce back to their initial form then they can still be title contenders but they need to be more consistent in winning matches and not lose any game at this point only then can their title hope be restored.

The competition is becoming more tensed now as the top four clubs are not giving each other any chance at all so this time is the most competitive period of the league as any draw back may cost any of the club the ability to be in the top four of the league table

I watched the last three previous matches of Arsenal of which they lost giving away 9 points away which have been had to recover from that tremendous lost. Quite unfortunate that today i was suppose to watch the victory of Arsenal i missed for weeks now i was busy sleeping. However i was happy to hear the outcome of the patch which has still kept us in third place in the EPL table.

Also, good to see everyone is back to the team. Now Arteta can dramatically use his substitute players to change some pattern of playing when it becomes tough inside the field. I expect to see more of these sweet performance in the next coming matches and when the UCL should start we should be unstoppable.

Of a Truth this arsenal team is really good when they all are on the top of their game, but the major issue I have with this arsenal team is consistency, just look at how they just brush crystal palace aside convincingly, but for them to maintain this title push is very difficult due to their lack of consistency.
If they can be consistent enough during the cause of this season, then I see them going all the way.

You got the clear analysis of what happened between Arsenal Football club and Crystal Palace. On a normal day, Crystal Palace is one of those mediocre clubs that gives tough time to top flight clause especially when the three points is so important for the opposition club. But in today's meeting with Arsenal, I did not expect much from Crystal Palace because majority of their star players are from the African continent and they have gone for their African cup of nations. If Crystal Palace is to play more few games before this boys are back from the African cup of Nations, it will bring an undesirable results for Crystal Palace.

I think this game should build some momentum for them but we know Arsenal too good now and I think it could be both against Nottingham, a catastrophic game with low or no efficiency or maybe another staggering win.

Arsenal was pretty amazing in this game with 6 shots on target with 5 goals, amazing indeed, this is a proof that Arsenal main issue is not about getting a striker but to be consistent which is the reason I will always say they are not among the title contenders this season, with a squad like Arsenal should be doing just fine but the hard truth is that they have not been able to keep such form for long but now that Liverpool are now facing injury crisis and Man City becoming better let's see if they can do any better competing with these team now but I doubt

Michael Oliseh is African origin but play for the French national team, he isn't at the ongoing AFCON. Micheal Oliseh is currently injured and will be out till February

No one having any doubt about Arsenal and its quality but surely their consistency is the biggest issues in this season as they fail to perform like they have done in last season currently they are sharing third spot with Aston Villa due to goals difference, but they need to act quickly with their usual aggressive approach because if they will do surely things can go favourable for them, and they will be able to give challenge both top teams which are having small difference of points.

Mikel Arteta is having good material to control things, but sometimes his experiments bring poor results for them which are surely not idea at this stage of the season now we are in 21st round, and we have 17 matches left which are important for keeping top spot with five teams are on same level and quality for the top spots, so this could be not easy time for them to do more experiments.

After losing two derbies confident level was low and fans were also disappointed which are surely not good after having impressive start so they were looking for the result which helps them for having something positive and improve their confident, and we have this match as was expected so now we can say things are taking good move, and we will have better results from them in coming matches as well Crystal Palace is at lower half of the league table even their performance is also below average but still many were expecting they will create problems but nothing happen as Arsenal take charge from the start, and they not allow them anything until end of the match.

It was a sad day for Crystal Palace has they were given a flawless victory by the host. I couldn't believe it that Crystal Palace couldn't even find the back of the net throughout the match. I think they need to work on their team performance, to make sure that this defeat does not have negative impact on them in their next match.

Arsenal too the advantage of the poor performance of Crystal Palace defense to score five goals, in order for them to have three points to the points as they were lacking behind the title race. Arsenal is on the the third position on the table. However, they might still go below this position because some clubs that are in the 4th and 5th position has an outstanding match to play. It's understatement to say Crystal palace played poorly against Arsenal today. We know Arsenal is the better side but Crystal palace played like a mid table championship team. It was absolutely embarrassing and also telling that they have no vision, confidence and energy at the moment. If a team lacks any of these three, they are not in for any competition in a top flight. It's sad to see Crystal palace still fighting relegation instead of pushing for Europe competition after staying this long in Premier league. I just hope the protest from the fans send a message to the management so they can invest in the team or better still bring back their young talents on loans.

I do agree that it should be all the wins for them and doesn't look like there will be any problems at all. I am not saying that it will not be all that easy or tough or anything like that, but it doesn't really look like Palace would have any chance at all and Arsenal is far better normally. I believe that the best thing to do at this case would be making sure that Arteta is not making any troubles with the changes.

When a team does well there are very few changes to the squad and when a team starts to do not so well, you may want to start making some changes and that is a big risk. You should not be doing that, it's the same team that won so many games, just because they had a few bad games doesn't mean that you should start changing things.

The results of this match exceeded my expectations, who initially thought that the maximum for this match would only be 3 goals. however, Arsenal immediately stepped on the gas and scored the first goal in the 11th minute from Gabriel Magalhaes' header. the next goal was created by Leandro Trossard and two goals were created by Martinelli. Referring to match statistics, Arsenal had more possession of the ball with 61%. 21 total shots, 6 on target, 6 chances, 5 goals were created, although one goal was an own goal from the Crystal Palace goalkeeper. uniquely, Arsenal scored 3 goals through their counter-attacks. Arsenal is far superior starting from ball possession, technical and tactical.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Palace squad did not put up much resistance, not even a single threatening opportunity from a total of 12 shots. in the end, Arsenal returned to the right track with impressive results after experiencing several bad matches in the previous few matches. apart from that, previously it was doubtful that several Arsenal players would be able to play in this match. however, Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko were able to play the match very well. With this victory, Asenal is temporarily in 3rd place in the standings, shifting Aston Villa. As a supporter of the Gunners, I am happy with this victory even though the team they played against was not strong enough for Arsenal. However, this victory is a good start to continue winning in the next matches. and yeah, the Over option with 2.5 goals @1.82 is according to my prediction. In fact, it exceeded what I predicted by only 3 goals. For those who bet Over, congratulations on this win.
