I was thinking the same thing as well, concerning how Liverpool will be able to cope without their hit player, I later realized that one thing with nature is that, nature will always fills every gap, might not be exactly the way you want it, but trust me it will be filled up.

Yeah truly Liverpool will eventually filled the gap if Mohammed Salah is no longer with them but however no matter how they feel they can perform well there performance will never be the same as when Salah was with them because the role of Salah in Liverpool is so important that the club may no longer be on the same shape if he is no longer with them, perhaps just like what happened to Manchester City when Kevin de Bruyne had the injury truly they were able to filled the gap but there performance was never the same as when he was there, so the club suffered a lot until he came back and restore the club performance so perhaps that's what may likely happened to Liverpool if Mohammed Salah doesn't play with them.

It is really difficult to say at this point because their last match was such a great outing even without Salah. No doubt Salah is the main man of the team, scoring important goals and giving the team the needed motivation to remain resolute in all their matches. His absence will affect Liverpool for sure but will definitely not mean the end of them or make them being a top team in the English Premiership.

Brighton are really unpredictable recently. They are lacking lots of important players due to various reasons these days. This has a really bad impact on their consistency level. One day they score 4 goals against Tottenham but the other day they can't score a single goal against West Ham.    Otherwise I would have really liked to place a bet on Brighton to win against Wolves honestly.

I'm hardly keeping myself from their win right now too though but I won't. Because it seems really risky while Wolves have been in-form for three weeks on one hand. Playing a home game can still be misleading about Brighton here.

Brighton @1.60 odd appears to be a risk worth taking; they have an excellent head-to-head record over Wolves in recent years, and while struggling in a few games this season, they still managed to achieve a very comfortable first leg win. Both clubs have their best players (Hee Chen and Mitoma) at the Asian Cup.

I consider giving Brighton direct win a big risk because Wolves is not a team to write off. Even though they have not been doing great lately, they are always scoring in most of their matches. I will consider both teams score at 1.63 odd, a safer option. Wolves will not allow Brighton defeat them in this match, it will be difficult.

This both team have an incredible performance, it seems they have equal strength because there last 5 matches are very good especially for the Wolves that have not lose any matches since December 17, 2023 against West ham United, but nothing can be say about this particular one because Brighton are also very consistent this days with the way they played pervious game and at the same time they are hosting Wolves, Brighton home performance is a nice one, but let see if Wolves can continue with their winning or Brighton win continue their home achievement. This match will be a tough one.

Jurgen Klopp truly knows how to rotate his team while still bringing out the best from them and I'm very hopeful they're gonna fight for the title till the end of the season. Manchester City undoubtedly will heap pressure on Liverpool but Klopp will surely want to make a statement with his boys this season

The next two matches are a real test for Liverpool, considering that they have to face two big teams from London,  if liverpool  lose in the match, of course Manchester City will really benefit because they can cut the distance even closer and I think for Manchester City next two matches will produce full points because they are against weak teams.

On paper Liverpool is clearly a team with all the advantages over its opponent Bournemouth. So it's only natural that Liverpool can dominate the match and win it with a score of 0-4. At first Liverpool had difficulty breaking into Bounemouth's goal in the first half and both played goalless until the first half ended. Liverpool started to find a way to break down Bounemouth's defense in the second half and they really made Bounemouth's players lose concentration.

It's true that Liverpool are not safe so far even though they are at the top of the standings. If Liverpool does not create more points difference than Manchester City, then I believe Manchester City can still occupy the top position and lead until the end of the season. So Liverpool will indeed be under a lot of pressure from now on, especially in tough matches against equally strong teams.

The next two matches will be tough for Liverpool even though Chelsea and Arsenal can still be beaten. Chelsea tends to be unstable, but Arsenal doesn't seem like they will accept defeat after previously losing in the FA Cup. So it's true that Liverpool's consistency will be tested in the two tough matches ahead.

But City still has one game left. If they win against Burnley then there will only be a difference of 2 points left. Liverpool's next matches are against Arsenal and Chelsea and City's next matches are against Brentford and Everton. I think there will be changes in the standings after those two matches. With a difference of only 2 points, I don't think it's too big a difference to say that Liverpool have secured the points. I'm not underestimating Liverpool because of their consistency but they will play those two big matches without Salah if he hasn't recovered from his injury.

Based on match schedule, Manchester City postponed match against Brentford will play on 21 February and seems large opportunity for Liverpool lead top position for one month later depend on consistency winning performance. Current standings, Liverpool have 5 points left from Manchester City and get three points last match against Bournemouth for the first time after Mohamad Salah injury.

You can see that the other players have come to the realization that their hit player is not around, so they need to play to leave up to the expectation of the club and so far they've been doing very well. The players you mentioned in their last match, where very brilliant in their pattern of play especially Diogo Jota and Gakpo.

When he said miss Salah as the playmaker, I paused a minutes to recheck the statement, he was right but the last time I see Salah as playmaker was 20/21 season, since then they have not been doing much again, the fallout started when Mane left. Manse was even more of playmaker than the way Salah was when he came but their two contributions in the Premier League was unmatched but that wasn't the case anymore.

This season was fair though. They have made names for the club again but Salah absent shouldn't be a big deal. He is even injured from the Afcon match he last played and the agent comfirmed that he will be away for 21 days atleast, so basically he is missing the rest of Egypt matches for Afcon and there position on the group stage is also bad but that is going to be his less concerned since Premier League is the ultimate goal to return to because if they mistakenly drop form this table, that is going to be the beginning of their fall from top 4.

It will be a tight schedule for Liverpool, I see the schedule now they will face Chelsea first at Anfield on Thursday 1 after that will meet Arsenal at the weekend then this can be said to be a tight match for Liverpool.

Now I don't want to underestimate Chelsea anymore, they have been able to win three times in the last match even though it is an equal opponent but still it must be wary of Liverpool even though I have confidence that playing at Anfield will definitely win.

Now what is more difficult against Arsenal as an away, still the favorite team cannot be ruled out, so in this match I predict a draw or victory for Liverpool.

The best scenario that can make Liverpool win the title this season is not to lose a single point in the next 17 matches, which is likely to be very difficult. Liverpool have at least several tough matches including against Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Aston Villa and also Tottenham.

Pep Guardiola have been prominent and working extremely hard to elevate the team's performance, they're weigh bigger and accomplished major titles in the past. They are still the best team in the world of football, because it's not an easy job watching Manchester top flight performance, they're completely balance and have to be on the top run. Manchester City are the reigning EPL and UCL champion's, putting them infront of other opponents.

Salah will always be missed by the Liverpool players, regardless of how good they've been playing lately. Salah has a huge impact on the pitch, and even the coach is aware that it will be difficult to find a suitable replacement for him right now. Liverpool can win games with ease when Salah is not on the field. However, Salah's absence from key games could cost Liverpool points because it would negatively impact their performance.

Liverpool won't miss Salah, in my opinion, unless they have a player who is at least as good as him at everything. It's similar to having a replacement who is every bit as skilled as Salah. Salah's absence could be felt by the club until then, particularly in crucial games where his abilities truly matter.

Salah's current position is like Gerrard's in the past. Has a very important position in the team as a leader and cannot be replaced as a figure.
But every generation of course there is a better replacement. Hopefully Nunez can be consistent so he can replace Salah.

Manchester City are still one of the best clubs in the season thus far. But they still need to score more matches before they can overtake Liverpool. 43 points beneath of the 48 points that Liverpool is carrying at the top of the table standing. The last 6 matches played by them were all wins and no lose at all.

Liverpool on the other hand are the top sprinters right now with 48 points ahead. And several points over several people. But the Liverpool is still in need of Salah right now as others may get an edge other that situation.

Yes that's right. I think only Klopp is able to compete with Pep Guardiola this season because the two teams coached by them both have the same mentality and squad, both core players and reserve players. So in my opinion their chance of winning the EPL League this season, Liverpool is 51% and Man City is 49%.

I rely on Liverpool this season because there are many changes, even Klopp's strategy is always epic in every match. Apart from that, if you remember the 2018/19 season, Klopp was labeled as a manager who did not believe in young talent. But now, he is even bolder in including young players in his line-up. The latest are Bobby Clark and Conor Bradley. Of course, this is a very good development for Liverpool in anticipating injuries to key players, for example what is happening now is Salah's injury.

I'm not surprised if Liverpool performance will be decreasing without Salah. But Klopp proved that they still could win the match with big scores without Salah. In the match against Bournemouth, they could win with 4 goals. They played without Salah, they have no problem to beat Bournemouth. However, I'm not sure they will be easy to score goals if Liverpool played against a strong team with solid defense. They actually still needs Salah for the big match.

In the next 2 matches, it will be crucial matches. Liverpool will play against Chelsea and Arsenal. Sure, Liverpool will be safe to lead the EPL standings if they could win those 2 matches. I have no doubt that Liverpool can beat Chelsea, specifically the match will be at Liverpool home. But it won't be easy for the match against Arsenal, it will be away match. Moreover, Arsenal must play all out to get points. There is a chance for a draw in the match against Arsenal. So, I'm not really sure that Liverpool will secure 9 points in the next few matches.

Salah is a very good player, and I believe Liverpool are going to miss him even though we know that without him, their squad is still doing great. I think their thing is that with Salah as a leader and well-experienced player, those things get done while playing, but every time a player leaves a club, people tend to think that someone like such a player will be hard to replace as soon as possible, which is true, and I think the same thing may happen to Liverpool too. Brighton are unpredictable these days. They are doing muu if ch better na wolves. Although wolves won some of their last few matches, we know that, Brighton had quality, and with the way the games are going, I think Brighton has a chance to win compared to wolves because I can see that Brighton are doing well in the match. Although there are a few minutes to go before the game ends, anything can happen even in the last minute of the match.

For him to give one team a win is not, in my opinion. If the games that he predicts to win are doing well, then there’s no issue, but if they are not doing well and won’t be able to win the opponent statistically, then that’s when we will say the ticket will get cut. However, let’s see how the game ends.

unfortunately the problem is here. They really have a lack of players. But on the other hand, previously they were still able to really perform optimally so they were at the top of the standings. However, it was only after the middle of this season that they really lost their enthusiasm and then their performance dropped further. They are still playing well, but they are not killing their opponents, in the sense that their front line is not as sharp as it was at the start.

If only they got their strength back, especially on the front lines, they could compete even more strongly with Man City and Liverpool. Today Arsenal will compete against Crystal Palace. They should be able to optimize this chance to win so they can pass Aston Vila's position immediately.

To me it seems that they are having continuous trouble with swallowing some bitter pills during the season. Once they lose a game or they concede a stupid late goal and instead of a win finish the game with a draw, it seems that this negative experience kind of transfers to the next game as well. If a team is performing at their best and Arsenal has a good team, it is highly unlikely that they stay without a win for three games in a row. They did not win against Fulham and West Ham and they could not win any of the top games against Aston Villa and Liverpool. I think the situation is quite clear here and this means they simply don't deserve the title if they play like this.

Unfortunately this is the truth. And what happened last season seems to be happening again. The problem is that they really missed their chances of winning several times, even though they should have won. So it's natural that many fans are quite disappointed with the results of some of their matches. Fortunately, in their match against Crystal Palace yesterday, Arsenal was really able to beat Crystal Palace very impressively. Previously, I had doubts about how Arsenal could overcome Crystal Palace, which incidentally was often troublesome with big wins of 5 - 0. This, however, was also a big win that strengthened Arsenal at number one.

This has just ended the match between Brighton vs Wolves. Honestly, this was quite a disappointing match from Brighton. Despite all their possession of the ball, they were unable to penetrate to Wolves' goal. Even though there are so many opportunities. But the result is only drawn 0 - 0 without any goal.

Is not too early to count Arsenal out of the title challenge?
I think Arteta is still an opponent that is capable of stopping both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp, he is a good manager that can make things work for Arsenal after their last three matches lost before their league resumption match against Crystal Palace. They are back with confidence, and if they can have consistency, they will defiantly make it to the top of the league.
