More games like this will breed more drama. I knew Liverpool would drop points between game week 22  & 23 due to the games lined up — if it wasn't Chelsea, it was always going to be Arsenal. Right from the first half, Arsenal looked the better of the two sides and completely deserve all 3 points from today's game.

City and Guardiola will win both matches and take the reigns at the top of the table. Liverpool and Arsenal playing catch up to City will be really interesting to watch.

Damn, Trossar ruined my accurate prediction (2-1 Arsenal win).
Both teams had chances, but apparently Arsenal's victory is still the logical outcome (and they were favorites before the game). The most important statistics in favor of Arsenal:

I don't really understand what happens at some games in the Premier League as lots of goals are scored even from teams you don't expect that to happen.For example I cannot understand how can a team like Luton which is a weak team and does not score goals usually to score 4 in one game and against a strong team like Newcastle.I know that is the beauty of Premier League yet I am still shocked at a 4-4 result from Newcastle at home not being able to beat a small team like Luton.

It is true, this season's Premier League always presents many oddities that occur in the matches played and is very difficult to predict, especially for big teams that have a good history in previous seasons, such as Newcastle. Newcastle's performance this season looks very bad and their play is still not consistent in their matches. In my opinion, in this match Newcastle really dominated the game, but Newcastle's back line still looked very weak and made a lot of mistakes so it was very easy for Luton's attackers to score a goal against Newcastle. Luton is indeed a very weak team and has never been the best in a match, especially against Newcastle, but in this match they managed to show a very competitive game so that Luton was able to make the score 4-4.

Chelsea has carried their free fall to this week again. I don't see any seriousness in this Chelsea team. This has to stop, you can't be losing in front of your fans almost every week. Losing 2:4 to a struggling wolves side is unacceptable. Pochettino looks like a man who has ran out of ideas. The early Chelsea relief him of his duties the better for them.

I think Liverpool were just unlucky in the match and Arsenal actually had another chance by scoring the 3rd goal after Liverpool played with only 10 men. I don't see Liverpool's defeat in the big match this time as something surprising. I believe Liverpool is more likely to lose a tough match if Salah is not there, of course because Liverpool's attack power is really weak. There weren't many really good attempts, most were just off-target shots. Liverpool really suffered and they were only lucky to get 1 own goal from Gabriel Magalhaes.

What's next, Manchester City may get their kingdom again this season. Manchester City have 2 games in hand and they have a wealth of experience to win both. Great outing by Arsenal today both the first half and the second half, were stunning performances by the club. Bukayo Saka did the wonderful opening in the beginning of the match making in more stronger for Arsenal to strike, even more.

Winning this match is a big victory for Arsenal because of many reasons, but to mention a few is because it has closed the gap between both teams as Arsenal is the second club to Liverpool who are leading in the table standing right now.

 Secondly, is because in the first leg, Arsenal was able to beat Liverpool and now they have repeated that again in beating Liverpool for the second time.

This only shows that Arsenal is more stronger than Liverpool as far as the games that have been played are concerned and the season of Premier League is concerned

The aspect I also have issue with is the finishing of Arsenal and that's why I would have wished that Arsenal have the likes of Victor Osimhen or Kylian Mbappé or the kind of players that can do the finishing for them. It will go a long way in assisting Bukayo Saka and others to make more goals for the team.

I've always respected Trossard because he has been putting every effort to always make sure that he secures as a goal for Arsenal at every chance he got.

I think this winning against a direct rival is really a moral buster for this arsenal side, which have open the the title race more, which now looks more like a three horse race, though Liverpool really gave them a fight, but I think their defending was really the cause of ther losing, because they were actually poor at the back, and all their error at the back were punished, but I still doubt this arsenal team, due to their lack of consistency.

If they can be consistent enough  mostly against the smaller teams, then I see this victory against Liverpool spuring them to the title comes may.

I had a little doubt in the beginning of the match that Liverpool will be able to win the match, after when I saw the odds between Arsenal and Liverpool. The booker gave Arsenal small odd, and after that I had to bet on Arsenal to win the game, which was a great game for me because I could cash out some little profit after the match.
