The performance from haaland and de bruyne was always good. Haaland was almost scoring in the game against brentford if his shoot would not be blocked by brentford's goal keeper.

I wonder how people still doubt Pep's Manchester City. When Manchester City were dropping points almost every match week everybody thought they were done. That team doesn't give up, they don't stop. As I have always said, they get better as the season progresses.
They have been without key players at different points in the season, but now that they need all 3 points out of every game all their key players are available. Halland, De Bruyne, and Rodri are all available.

Man City is going to win this premier league and make it 4 consecutive wins, something that has never happened, not even in the peak of Alex Ferguson with Man United.
Even if they don't win their outstanding match, I strongly believe that they'll still win the league because the other title contenders, Liverpool and Arsenal will still drop points.
I know the league is still wide open, but no matter how open it is, Manchester City will end up at the top.

reason some people doubt Man City performance is only because of the decline in performance and they only judge it from one side without looking at the positive side.
now we are discussing that Man City will soon have Haaland back and now KDB is back and contributing as before the injury and Haaland return will be a big problem for other teams because Man City biggest strength is in these two players because of the solid cooperation between Haaland and KDB is always feared by other teams.

so whoever team is at the top of the standings will always be praised and doubted by other teams and you don't need to be surprised by a statement like this if you have confidence in Man City.

The poor results of the team should rather be a reason why the team should be given more funds to strengthen the squad so I don't know why it's rather a reason they wouldn't want to fund pochettino's team according to your speculations but I do see that for teams that looks weak they are rather founded to strengthen the team.

Chelsea doesn't actually look to me like the problem is with getting more players that will be able to help them get a better performance and results aswell but then I think it's rather more of a tactical issue and the team been able to have a better chemistry and perfect their rhythm on the pitch as they play any game. Chelsea has got a good squad and their team members so they just need an improved tactics to put their style of play together and make the team one which could be strong enough and come back to making the sky Blue once again.

Chelsea is really having trouble getting out of their problems, even Pochettino looks like he will find failure in his first season. It's clear Chelsea need a lot of quality players instead of expensive ones, but just like you said, management will probably think twice before giving Pochettino the budget.

If Chelsea management still gives Pochettino their trust, then they might support Pochettino's request in the end. If that's true, Chelsea needs lots of quality players including goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, wingers and strikers. They need to renovate their squad and sell some players they don't need, but this is a solution if Pochettino is still going to continue his career at Chelsea next season.
