Bournemouth hosted City at home. It was a tough match for both teams. City took the lead in the first half and managed to win 1-0. Bournemouth tried to get back into the game in the second half but failed to score.

The match wasn’t a easy one for Manchester City, i was surprised that Manchester City were able to score just one goal in the match, I was expecting them to confidently win the match, but they have to struggle before they could win, I notice that Manchester City have been finding difficult to score in their last three matches, they do have some opportunities, but they do end up wasting it. Manchester city do end up scoring just 1 goal in all their last three matches, I don’t really know the cause.

In the last match of the day, Arsenal hosted Newcastle United at home. They managed to get a comfortable win against their opponent. Arsenal established the pressure from the first minute of the match and took a 2-0 lead in the first half and continued in the same way in the second half.

Newcastle played so poorly in the match, I never expected Arsenal to score a team like Newcastle four goal, the match was not really competitive, Newcastle made everything so easy for Arsenal in the match. Since Arsenal are also desperate to win the league this season, they will make use of any opportunity which they have.

EFL Cup final match Chelsea vs Liverpool

Current standings in Premier League left many points from the top position, seems Chelsea have been over for winning premier league this season and EFL Cup is the realistic trophy for Chelsea.
Few hours later will face Liverpool is the top primer league standings awhile and seems difficult to predict with Chelsea has more motivate for winning the last opportunity with trophy this season and other side Liverpool on the top position won't losses their chance with EFL Cup trophy although its not really excited trophy for top team. If Chelsea is able to win the EFL Cup, this will be the first trophy for Pochettino in the first season, even though in the domestic league it is a little difficult for Chelsea to be in the big four this season.

Chelsea have no hope of winning the Premier League title this season considering their points, while Liverpool have hope of winning the Premier League title as they are the team topping the League right now.

Chelsea management will be happy if Pochettino and Chelsea players can be able to win this trophy because Chelsea Management have spent a lot of money on signing players, if they win the EFL cup, Pochentino will have more hope on his future at Chelsea because he is yet to be stabled and his performance is not yet appreciable.

With the team both of them displayed, it is a fair team formation and anyone can win the match. Liverpool have a lot of injured players which might affect them today and even in the Premier League, ss Chelsea have advantage to win the game same as Liverpool.

I think Chelsea will win this match though they have lost like 5 finals against Liverpool in recent years now but I think today will be different else Poch will get more heat from the fans and management.

Liverpool has been doing excellently well even with their injuries struggles while Chelsea still faces injuries woes but because of their squad depth, we can say Chelsea have higher advantage especially now that There have been consistently in both defence and midfield in recent matches.

Both teams has been playing well though Chelsea has been possessing but Liverpool are getting back after making a substitution were Gomez came in for Gravenberch while Chelsea have a goal from Sterling ruled out by offside, Gakpo header hits the woodwork

It has been a goales game so far between Chelsea and Liverpool. Many people thought that Liverpool would have score a goal or more before now, but I was telling them this is a final game and it won't go as they are saying it. When it comes to a cup final, the weak team suddenly become strong. At this point any team can win this game. Well for me am not really interested in who wins the cup but am just enjoying the game so far. I bet the game under 2.5 goals and so far am happy with the score line.

I expect seriousness with the both clubs because this match really mean a lot for this teams especially the coaches.

A questionable first half and despite all the options available to the referees they still make a lot of mistakes. In the second half, the ball hardly stayed in the center of the field, the teams attacked a lot, and again we saw the referee cancel the goal. I don’t know how to react to these decisions, the goals of each team were canceled and now the score remains 0:0, they need to start all over again. These cancellations of goals look too dubious, it seems that the referee has complete power in the match. At the end of the match, fatigue takes its toll and players commit more fouls.

Manchester United had been winning for 4 weeks but yesterday they lost against Fulham, breaking their good run.Manchester United are really missing something and it could be because of Erik ten Hag.Sometimes the football that some managers want with the big teams doesn't match and Manchester United have a good squad in my opinion.I would be hesitant to put up with Erik ten Hag for another season because I don't think we've seen any extra performance from him.They didn't play very well against Fulham but they could have taken points from this game.89. Maguire scored the equalizer in the 89th minute but they conceded again 2-3 minutes later and lost the game.

That goal by Harry Maguire wasn't enough to save the day. Man United's performance has been up and down this season! They faced a tough match against Fulham, who put up a strong defense, and Man United struggled to find the net. I have to say, the attitude of some Man United players during games is disappointing. Fulham deserved the win; they completely outplayed United. Man United have dropped 17 points at home this season, including losses to teams like Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, and Crystal Palace. Honestly, this manager and his tactics aren't good enough. Eric ten Hag seems to be the main issue with the team. Despite the injuries, Man United still have a talented squad. They might need a change in leadership next season if things don't improve.

It is time for Man United to realize that they are not in the hands of the right coach. Last season, Ten Hag showed quite satisfactory performance and succeeded in bringing Man United to third place in the Premier League. Though there is no trophy that Man United can get, at least Ten Hag is working according to expectations.

But this season, Man United seems to be quite struggling. They have spent a lot of money to sign several new players but that wasn't enough to bring Man United into the title race, even getting into the top 4 seems like it will be difficult. So if anyone should be responsible for Man United's poor performance this season, it is Ten Hag because this is his second season, so the results of his work truly reflect what he can actually do.

Regarding these matches, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure they can win easily. Therefore, I only try to bet with safe options based on my personal version. But ya, considering that Arsenal is still capable of winning big in the Premier League, I regret a little because I didn't maximize Arsenal good trend in this match at least to get bigger odds if I chose the handicap option . Because ya, at least Arsenal defeat in the Champions League by Porto, I think that defeat will have an impact on Arsenal performance in the Premier League match against Newcastle.

But yes, in reality that is not the case but indeed, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are really showing very good quality at this moment . Even though they are still busy with other schedules and have also experienced many injuries to key players in the Liverpool squad. But yeah, they still really have a great effort in the race for the Premier League trophy at this moment, obviously it's a really great effort that they've had so far.

Newcastle was in a bad condition and Arsenal managed to take advantage of it in this match and allowed them to finally win the match with a landslide score of 4-1. An own goal by a Newcastle player was the opening goal for Arsenal in this match. They were able to double their position 6 minutes later through a goal scored by Kai Harvetz, 2 goals became the final score in the first half. Entering the second half they played more comfortably with the advantage they created in the first half. As a result, they were able to score 2 goals again in a period of 4 minutes, namely in the 65th minute through Bukayo Saka and in the 69th minute through Jakub Kiwior. with a 4 goal lead and with only 20 minutes remaining in normal time, it could be said that they locked in an early win. Even though in the end Newcastle was able to score a goal in the 84th minute, it was only a consolation goal for them.

Talking a lot about Arsenal in the Champions League, they don't play like they do in the Premier League, they can't be more creative in launching attacks so Porto can easily read them. Luck might be one of the reasons why they failed in this competition. However, the opportunity is still open for them in the second leg. They must be able to play better than before, otherwise Porto will punish them by eliminating Arsenal from the Champions League. Indeed, Porto is in a better situation after they have 1 goal, but Arsenal also has the advantage of playing at home.

Well last season we saw some improved clubs in the EPL and these clubs were able to maintain this improvements all through the season and that gave them some great result like European qualification. One of those improved teams in Newcastle, they performed greatly in the calendar year of 2023 and were able to finish in 4th place. Though they got eliminated in the group stage of the UCL, but they were able to make a name for themselves by defeating almighty PSg and causing trouble for Ac Milan. Well these kind of improvements is what we expected them to build on and get better entering this season but it seems, injury had it’s tow on them. Newcastle since when they had some crazy injury crisis haven’t been able to perform to optimum and it’s quite worrisome for the fans as these players aren’t living up to expectation. Now no one is having full confidence on Newcastle for going to any European competition as they keep having one bad performance to another.

 The match against Arsenal was one major test for them to see if they’ll at least have anything to offer but it seems that this team has now become a shadow of themselves as they keep performing poorly. In that match yes we expected Arsenal to at least have a say but not with those crazy goals. Arsenal had the lead quite early and surprisingly it was an own goal gifted to them by Newcastle, this lead was doubled within 6 minutes and that speaks a lot on the defense line of this said to be improved Newcastle. Well Arsenal too were the better team as we saw how they came into the 2nd half very confident and got additional 2 goals to add to the tally though some defensive errors occured and they weren’t able to keep the clean sheet.

 Going forward, we can now see that this Arsenal team that performed during the week is quite weak compared to this dreadful side that played during weekend. This result should send a warning signal to Porto because these Arsenal boys are quite young and  very agile. Arsenal are a goal down in the UCL, but they’ve got quite a lot to offer in the second leg and I’m very confident on Arsenal going through to the last 8. Though it seems Arsenal want to go all out for the EPl And chase it so dearly rather than the UCL as they play with less confidence in that competition. Though I still have high hopes on Arsenal being able to go through and I’ll sure have them in my selection if I’m to play a bet on this game.

it was a really tough game but even Bournemouth knew they could not beat Manchester City, I wonder where some of these clubs get their mind from seeing the way they were playing and despite how they were doing all they could to score, it was either defended or saved No magic would have performed there is no way they would have won One of my favorite players in Manchester City is Haaland because that young man is always looking for ways to score in every game. Haaland knows exactly what to do. and the way Bournemouth was pressing at first, it was as if we were going to lose the game or even equalize but I was just too sure of us winning this game. and now the arsenal is becoming a threat to us because even the way they played against Newcastle is something to be worried about but we all know Arsenal will still end up making either second or third place.

Aston Villa hosted Nottingham Forest at home.Aston Villa went 3-0 up against Nottingham forest in the 39th minute and we can say that Aston Villa managed to break the match here in a way.Aston villa broke the resistance of their opponent and although Aston villa took the lead, their opponent did not give up the game and brought the situation to 3-2 at the beginning of the second half.The match started to heat up more and with Bailey's goal in the 61st minute, they won 4-2 at home. With Bailey's goal in the 61st minute, Aston Villa will not want to fall further behind their rivals in the championship race because the points difference with the leader liverpool is 8, a difference that can be closed at any time. Although there are 13 weeks left to the end of the league, it must be said that we are entering the most critical weeks.

The match was excellent and when Villa scored the third goal and the score was 3-0 I thought it was all over for Nottingham Forest, but they did well, they showed that they did not give up and scored one before the break and one after and when the score was 3-2 it was really worrying for Aston Villa, but it is good that they have players like Wally Watkins, Leon Bailey and Douglas Louis in the squad, because they won the match for Villa. Martinez, who often helps out, in this match played as I think not very well, but in any case it's very important 3 points for Villa and nothing is lost yet.
Frankly speaking in the championship of Aston Villa is not very believable, but to take 2nd or 3rd place Unai Emery's team is quite possible.

It seems like Man City has lost its rhythm in scoring lots of goals, this is due to the main goal scorer Haaland who has just recovered from injury.
I think he needs a few matches to adapt again to KDB to be able to dominate and win every match.
On the other hand, Arsenal went berserk again with a big score, where previously they had lost in the UCL with Porto.
This proves that they can quickly recover from adversity to try to catch up with Liverpool, who are currently at the top of the standings.

A very dramatic match, draining the players energy with high intensity, for the umpteenth time Chelsea had to bend the knee to the Reds. Klopp managed to experiment even though several key players were absent, proving that he is a figure who is very difficult to find a replacement for. The victory was narrow but means a lot for Klopp fleet, the Carabao Cup trophy has been won, just waiting for the EPL and Europa League trophies in the future. Pochettino has failed to take Chelsea in the direction he expected, and it is certain that the Blues will end this season with a title drought. Pochettino first season has failed, if he is not fired he can try again next season.

It is time for Man United to realize that they are not in the hands of the right coach. Last season, Ten Hag showed quite satisfactory performance and succeeded in bringing Man United to third place in the Premier League. Though there is no trophy that Man United can get, at least Ten Hag is working according to expectations.

But this season, Man United seems to be quite struggling. They have spent a lot of money to sign several new players but that wasn't enough to bring Man United into the title race, even getting into the top 4 seems like it will be difficult. So if anyone should be responsible for Man United's poor performance this season, it is Ten Hag because this is his second season, so the results of his work truly reflect what he can actually do.

I'm sorry to start up this comparison but Pep Guardiola also had Injuries and couldn't win some games comfortably without Kevin De Bruyne and also Erling Haaland.
Manchester United has too many players out Injured at most from the back line. Mind you, Erik Ten Hag's beat strategy was quick transition and also building from the back which is why he fumes whenever Lisandro Martinez is out Injured, because he has been a good key to Manchester United last season, starting the attack from the defense which is a very good way to attack.

Most at times, Luke Shaw is also being deployed to the heart of the defense because he could do same things or almost same done by Lisandro Martinez.

This season is different, both the attackers, midfielder's and defender's have got serious injuries when he needs em. How do you expect him to show working? One stats that failed to go on was winning all the games ( Premier League Games ) in the month of February

It was a narrow escape for Liverpool who came against another stronger team Chelsea,  but then Liverpool is the king of the tournament and for sure managing to win with a 1 goals to none is good,  and for sure since the closest to them Manchester city also won with same goal amount of just 1:0 which will keep them away from the closing up on them on the table but with the current outcome of both clubs it gives Liverpool more time to keep the possibility window to go on with the current title winning based on points.

Chelsea v Liverpool

Chelsea XI: Petrovic, Gusto, Disasi, Colwill, Chilwell, Caicedo, Enzo, Gallagher, Palmer, Jackson, Sterling.

Liverpool XI: Kelleher, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Endo, Gravenberch, Elliott, Gakpo, Diaz.

Liverpool are ready for this match without Mo Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez and I know Chelsea are not Luton Town that maintain winning throughout the first half of the game without this guys, even though they later won that was Premier league and now it's final against Chelsea, Liverpool shouldn't capitalised on their last meeting with Chelsea that they won 4-1, I know Mo Salah was absent. I expect seriousness with the both clubs because this match really mean a lot for this teams especially the coaches.

Both teams have been impressive with their style of play this first half, however I feel Chelsea have not been well treated with that goal scored by sterling that was later disallowed by VAR,  Jackson was not in an off-side position, there was a Liverpool playing that was keeping him on before he passed the ball to sterling. Chelsea have been more defensive and with some sprinkles of counter attack style of play. That Chelsea player that tackled Liverpool player wrongly on the ankle and wasn't given a straight Red card for me was a wrong decision the Referee took, that was obviously a wrong tackle and the Liverpool player could not continue with the game again. Liverpool have really tried to make some moves to score but the Chelsea defense has been very solid.

Yeah, it was an absolute joy to watch. I can't believe that Liverpool have won the EFL Cup. Because of the way Chelsea was playing, I didn't think that Liverpool would win because Chelsea had more shots on target than Liverpool in the first 90 minutes, but V. van Dijk's goal turned everything around. Klopp's fair share was won by another trophy. But anyway the match was absolutely exquisite and allowed both teams to dominate the match both teams scored in the first half but unfortunately, the goal was disallowed by VAR. While the Liverpool boy V. van Dijk scored a beautiful goal in the dying minutes to give Luverpook the final victory, the funny thing is that the match was equal and V. van Dijk took the game in extra time. I was thinking penalty shoutout, but Liverpool won.

Looking at Liverpool lineup, I never gave them a chance. I am disappointed in Chelsea, they couldn’t get a win against these youngsters Klopp brought on. I wonder how they would have fared if Liverpool had their main midfielders present today. I don’t think the game would have went into extra time.

Liverpool are the champions of the Carabao Cup. Took all of the regular time plus almost all of the additional Extra time to break through Chelsea's defence. Van Dijk scored in regular time but it was disallowed and he scored again at 118 mins to take the lead and become the champions of the Carabao Cup.
