In case anyone is wondering what is happening with Chelsea, I have just told all the Chelsea supporters to just understand and take it that Chelsea is no longer a big team. When this understanding is meant by the Chelsea fans and even the Chelsea management they will come to normal realization and start building the club afresh. There is no how anyone is going to make a good season with the level of inconsistency that is accompanying Chelsea Football club. You cannot be grossly inconsistent and still make a good result in the present day English Premier League.

Even as Brentford has never been in a good form for some months now Chelsea was also enabled to beat them. In fact Chelsea have to struggle to luckily equalize the match in order to go home with just one point. Things have just really falling apart for Chelsea Football club

This is no longer funny I think I will agree with you that Chelsea is no longer among the big teams in England this will help a lot of their fans not to be emotionally down when ever they watch Chelsea match because at the end they will be disappointed, they have to beg for a draw after rushing to get an early goal that's too bad and to crown it all, they will be leaving the 11th position soon to move back to the 15th place where rhey belong this season, I believe the team will get better before 2026.

Even though it is difficult to accept, the reality is that Chelsea has turned into a mediocre club since last season. Pochettino failed to manage his fleet to become a team challenging for the title, and failed to bring Chelsea into a team capable of competing in the top four of the standings, and failed to bring Chelsea to secure tickets to appear in European competitions. It's natural that the Blues are now considered an average club, their performance is only slightly better when they meet other big teams.

The match against Brentford gives us an idea that this expensive squad depth is not useful at all. Waiting for them to become mature players and have better experience will make the team continue to decline. Chelsea main mistake lies in their careless transfer style, where they let go of most of the experienced players at the club and hope that young players can have a better impact.

Last season Chelsea finished in 12th position in the standings, perhaps with their current performance, next week Fulham will overtake their position. Liverpool's victory cane at the last minute of the game and it wasn't looking like a convincing victory to me but then most importantly they were able to win and got three points at the end of the game which has further strengthen their spot at the top of the table and further increased their chances at the trophy this season but then they are still been followed closely by Manchester city who is just four points away from them which actually means if Liverpool loses a match and Manchester city wins, Liverpool may be likely displaced by the next game but then the current form of Liverpool is such that they may not get to loose two straight games before the end of the season which is very much close already. Manchester city will definitely try but I doubt If they will be able to repeat the results they had last season again this season.

Liverpool without doubt struggled in their English Premier League game away at Nottingham Forest today but were lucky to get that last minute goal by Darwin Nunez that ensured they left the game with at least a point in that game. Mohammed Salah's absence I think is having a big negative effect on the Liverpool team because since he picked up that injury, the club have been struggling to create goalscoring chances and that's made it very difficult for them to win games. Darwin Nunez who is just returned to action after few weeks out with a little knock was subbed in to the game in the second half to help the team find a win in other to maintain their place at the the top of the league table and he made sure he delivered the team and extend their lead at the top of the table to four points pending the result of Manchester City tomorrow against Manchester United.

Chelsea played a weak game, although they were been hosted by Brentford who hasn't been really bad performing this season but then Chelsea was seen as that favorite in this game and was hoping to get to win against the Brentford that was considered just average although Chelsea has been in the same grade this season but it was a balanced game as I didn't get to see anyone outplaying the other.

Chelsea's general performance this season I think have been one of their most inconsistent since 2003 that their former owner Roman Abramovic took over the ownership of the club. Despite spending hugely to sign high profile players in the last three transfer windows, Chelsea is still struggling to win matches even against struggling teams in the English Premier League. After they took the lead in this game, I was of the opinion that they're going to score more goals to win the game but little did I know that the home team will turn things around in the second half of the game. If not for Axel Disasi's late goal, Chelsea would've still conceded another league defeat today.

When talking about dropping points no one is exempted to drop points. Even now the premier league competition is way tougher than i expected. We all saw how difficult it is for Liverpool to win Nottingham Forest away. That is the same situation Manchester City will find defeating Manchester United at their home. Home or Away doesn't mean all i feel is that it would be very tough for the top three teams.

Sometimes i see so many persons saying Arsenal won't drop points because they will be playing smaller teams in their next two matches but i know things doesn't work that way. They were able defeat Westham, Liverpool, Manchester United and successfully won their last 5 matches doesn't mean they win their upcoming matches.

Aston Villa thwarted the comeback that Luton worked hard on achieving after being down 0-2 with 2 goals from Ollie Watkins in the first half. Luton made it 2-2 with 18 mins left on regular time but Digne had other plans and made it 2-3 in favor of Villa and they are comfortably set on 4th in the premier league, 5 points ahead of Tottenham.

I was expecting this match to end in a draw after Luton Town leveled with Aston Villa in the 72nd minute. Digne later scored the winning goal for Aston Villa against Luton Town in the 89th minute. With this 2–3 win, Aston Villa have kept their hope of playing in the next season's UEFA Champions League alive. Aston Villa is leading Tottenham, who are the major threat in taking their 4th position in the Premier League table with 5 points, but if Tottenham win their outstanding match, it will be 3 points.

Although they did not play well in the first half, Luton Town players played very well in the second half. In the first half we saw the dominance of Aston Villa players only. But in the second half Luton Town players completely changed the scenario of the match. In the second half we saw the dominance of Luton Town players.

I would say Aston Villa were very lucky today so they got 3 points. They changed their tactics in the second half. And it had a bad effect on the team players. The team conceded two goals despite playing defensively in the second half. Lucas Digne's goal at the last minute earned Aston Villa 3 points in the match. Aston Villa players should perform more cautiously.

Three points almost slipped off from the hands of Aston Villa, as they were unable to put in a good performance compared to the first half. Luton was able to play better in the second half which has always been their playing pattern. Luton prefers to study the game in the first half, and when they come back to the second half, that is when they will show you what they are made of.

The first half goals was what saved Aston Villa from much pressure, which gave them the confidence to be able to withstand the pressure of Luton, and scored the third goal to win the match. Aston Villa is the only club that have scored more goals in the first half than any other club this season.

I agree with you. Scoring points against smaller teams is not an easy task in the Premier League at the moment. Nottingham Forest were a very small team. However in today's match we saw that Liverpool team had to fight hard to earn points. Liverpool were very lucky to secure 3 points in today's match. Liverpool won due to Nunez's goal in the 90th + 9th minute of the match.

A draw in Manchester City vs Liverpool will pave the way for Arsenal to top the table. However, Arsenal are going to face strong opponents like Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Brighton in the future. It is challenging for Arsenal to win each of these matches. Every team is very strong.

The English Premier League is not an easy league where a particular team that is in good form will be winning all their matches till the end of the season as we saw in the case of Napoli last season and the present league leaders in SeriaA Inter Milan, EPL teams are no small teams as the least expected team will turn out ro be the team that will defeat the elite team so yes the three teams you already mentioned will definitely drop points regardless of their current performance now.

One team among the three teams will surely win the league but looking at the current form and performance of the teams, the match between Manchester City and Liverpool should give Arsenal an edge to climb up because a lost from any side will push them to the second place and right now they have a stronger force in the form because they have less injuries and they are hot both their attackers and defenders.

There are promising Chelsea players and they will developed to become prominent in the future. I'm a Chelsea fan and having my close friend, he's Manchester United fan and he keeps comparing the status of my favorite club to mediocre teams like Nottingham Forest. I'm really upset with the performance of my club, they don't play like elite team and dropping points against an average club becomes routine for them. Brentford is a tough opposition and I wasn't surprised to see the Blues failed accomplishment to win the Bees. Thomas Frank is acquainted with handling these top clubs.

Liverpool got a very dramatic victory. I thought that Liverpool would get an easy win, but I was wrong because it turns out that Nottingham Forest has a pretty good defense which made it difficult for Liverpool to create opportunities. Luckily Liverpool was able to maintain their composure until the match ended, and because of their persistence, they were able to get good results. Even though they could only win 1-0, but this meant a lot for Liverpool because the burden they felt in this match would be shifted to Man City and Arsenal.

I too had the same thoughts of Liverpool having an easy win against Nottingham Forest which was clearly the weaker side amongst them. The game was pretty much dominated by Liverpool who surprisingly, found it quite difficult to score despite having more of the ball.
Nottingham Forest had a sturdy defense and perhaps that contributed to the fact that Liverpool could only get few shots that actually found it’s target.

Liverpool didn’t relent and was rewarded with the win. Claiming the three points what matters and they did just that.

However, I don't think if the fans of Liverpool are still happy with their player Darwin Núñez because when he joined Liverpool he was the top scorer and for one season he was really in the bad form and had many mistakes but this goal was life-saving for him and his team.

It was a fair result for Brentford and Chelsea at Gtech Community Stadium. I didn't expect Chelsea to be able to equalize against Brentford when they took the lead against Chelsea in the 50th minute, but Chelsea surprised me by getting an equalizer in the 83rd minute, which earned them a point against Brentford. 

Previously, I didn't think that Pochettino would change his pattern to 3-5-2. Likewise with the home team, Brentford uses the same pattern. to be honest, in this match I am absolutely sure that Chelsea will not lose to the home team, Brentford. and yeah, Chelsea didn't lose but also didn't win this match as I predicted at the start of the post. in fact, Chelaea was ahead in the first half with a goal scored by Nicolas Jackson in the 35th minute. unfortunately, in the second half the home team evened the score to 1-1. even in the 69th minute, Yoane Wissa was able to beat Chelsea with a score of 2-1. Luckily for Chelsea, Pochettino's team managed to avoid defeat after Axel Disasi equalized the score at 2-2.

Talking about ball possession, Chelsea controls 68%. however, from a technical perspective, both teams are superior in several aspects. whether it's dribbling, crossing passes, accurate passes. Both teams carry out their respective strategies.  In the end, this match ended in a 2-2 draw. with this result, Chelsea remains in 11th place even though they have the same points as Crystal Palace in 10th place in the Premier League. well, in the end these two teams have to share points with each other. and yeah, my prediction failed even though Chelsea didn't lose this match.

I agree with you. Scoring points against smaller teams is not an easy task in the Premier League at the moment. Nottingham Forest were a very small team. It looked to be an easy match for Liverpool but they nearly lose two points in this match. Even they created many opportunities but their players did not make accurate shots and at the very ending, Darwin Nunez scored a winning goal for Liverpool at 90+9th minute.

The result is maximum for Liverpool but they had reasons to disappoint with their players by wasting many good opportunities. Absence of Salah and Jota affected their attacking power a lot. Cody Gakpo lost a lot of confidence and I can not imagine he was a very goal productive player for Netherlands in World Cup 2022.

A draw in Manchester City vs Liverpool will pave the way for Arsenal to top the table. However, Arsenal are going to face strong opponents like Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Brighton in the future. It is challenging for Arsenal to win each of these matches. Every team is very strong.

That big clash can end as a winner and loser, I don't think it will finish as a draw and one point for each. Both teams are strong but in such big match, they all want three points because they fight each other but with fear of Arsenal will take over their position. So they will seriously fight for three points and one of them will make mistake, give opponent chances to win it.

In March 10, there is a big match, Liverpool vs Man City. These teams possible lose points in this match, too.

According to the schedule of the EPL next matches, I agree that these 3 teams are likely to lose points. Which team can collect points from the matches, will have a bigger chance to win the title. If we take a look the current squad, Man City should have a better preparation.

Considering how many excellent players Chelsea has on its roster, it is quite amazing that the squad is still performing poorly. I'm puzzled about what could be causing Chelsea's continuous problems and why the coach hasn't been able to pinpoint and address them as of yet because of this continual struggle. Chelsea started their preseason so promisingly, therefore the present condition of bad performance is somewhat disappointing. If this pattern continues, admirers may eventually become disenchanted.

The game today was extremely disappointing because I was expecting more from Chelsea, especially given it was a home game against a struggling Brentford squad. Chelsea only secured a draw, which was unexpected and serves as more evidence of the team's inconsistent play despite the challenging circumstances.

It’s high time Chelsea get a new manager, and I don’t think they will be able to achieve anything even if they leave Pochettino. Ngl, Nunez was terrible last season. I think it was partly due to comparison with Haaland so everyone had very high expectations of him and anytime he doesn't perform to that level, his confidence dip. However, this season, he has been great and the fans including myself, love him. He didn't play in the Carabao cup final but the fans chanted his name.

Against Newcastle, he came from the bench when Liverpool was 1-0 town to score a brace and win the game at 1-2 for Liverpool. It's not the other time this season that he has come from the bench to make a critical impact.

Today's goal against Nottingham forest was magical. Even up to the 98th minute, I was still hopeful and there was Nunez with that header.

I think Chelsea already know this about Pochettino but why he still hasn't been fired maybe because he is still under a long contract if he is fired then Chelsea must pay compensation to Pochettino and finding a new coach is not easy it takes accuracy in order to change Chelsea's current situation.

Maybe Pochettino will be retained until the end of the season because even if by changing the new coach it will not change Chelsea's situation because their position is too far away to get tickets to European competition and after this season ends maybe Chelsea will do a lot of reshuffling then this is not a little money that Chelsea must provide.

Jurgen Klopp have plans to meet up this season before finally leaving the club at the end of the season. There are hurdles on the way, he just have to figure ways to patch them because he's not going to bend over for them, instead he will craves for the best results for his club. I'm starting to like the pattern of Jurgen Klopp, he's using young players to substitute the key ones in the second half, because he's building them up for the top tasks ahead in the nearest future.

Darwin Núñez have been so unlucky when it comes to netting goals for Liverpool, if he's given 10 clear goal scoring chances, don't be surprised he will missed out on 7 chances and nets only 1 while the remaining 2 shots will hits the woodwork, we know his style of play. Darwin Núñez scored the winning goal to secure the three winning points against Nottingham Forest. It was an important winning for Liverpool because they're topping #1 on the EPL table and not the moment for the Reds to dropped points.

The blues were ahead in the early minutes of the game abs and it did felt like they were going to win even if they were playing from away, I personally wasn't even happy with the fact that they had to allow the hosting team come from behind and still get to equalize two goals and ended the game like that. Chelsea dis tried their best but I think if they were to perform as much as they did with Manchester city it would be possible they would ha e won Brentford, but then even Brentford did played well too so it wasn't like they didn't deserved their goals they did scored because they did played so well to get those goals. Tottenham seem to have gotten back their form as they have in recent games been performing so we'll and the victory they got today was actually a good one that shows they are going to finish the Season in a good position.

Liverpool winning with just a goal was a poor performance from them by my examination but then they still stay at the top of the table. Chelsea coach my likely not retain his job by the end of this season because this has been a less productive season for the blues and their coach aswell.

Liverpool got a very dramatic victory. I thought that Liverpool would get an easy win, but I was wrong because it turns out that Nottingham Forest has a pretty good defense which made it difficult for Liverpool to create opportunities. Luckily Liverpool was able to maintain their composure until the match ended, and because of their persistence, they were able to get good results. Even though they could only win 1-0, but this meant a lot for Liverpool because the burden they felt in this match would be shifted to Man City and Arsenal.

I too had the same thoughts of Liverpool having an easy win against Nottingham Forest which was clearly the weaker side amongst them. The game was pretty much dominated by Liverpool who surprisingly, found it quite difficult to score despite having more of the ball.
Nottingham Forest had a sturdy defense and perhaps that contributed to the fact that Liverpool could only get few shots that actually found it’s target.

Liverpool didn’t relent and was rewarded with the win. Claiming the three points what matters and they did just that.

I think Darwin Núñez literally saved his team and when they were very close to losing two important points in this game he scored the goal in 90+9' and changed the result in the last minutes of the game.
However, I don't think if the fans of Liverpool are still happy with their player Darwin Núñez because when he joined Liverpool he was the top scorer and for one season he was really in the bad form and had many mistakes but this goal was life-saving for him and his team.

I can remember Cristiano Ronaldo's statement vividly saying great things about Darwin Nunez and how he will become a great player in the future.
He has been my best player so far in that Liverpool team and I've always supported the lad to shine. Lately, what I love more about him has got to be his ability to be calm and not let his emotions fuck with him.
In the absence of Mo Salah and other keey attacking players, Darwin Nunez has taken responsibility and had helped with good numbers..at least he's not out here prattling about himself while he struggles. These are things Marcus Rashford should look at and learn from. For his information he no personal award to day he is a superstar.

It'll be great to see Klopp winning the Premier League Competition saids the Liverpool fans, they'd be supporting Manchester United to beat Manchester City tommorow.
