Shefield United won promotion to the English league with minimal strength so it was quite difficult for them to keep up with other teams. Sheffield United has been a pretty bad team this season because they are the target of other clubs in scoring goals and there is no resistance they can put up when facing strong teams. Sheffield United were only able to win three matches and the proudest thing was that they managed to beat Luton with a big score.

Competition will occur between Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United because the top three positions are a little more comfortable for Arsenal. Tottenham has the opportunity to catch Aston Villa because they are five points behind them, but it depends on how Tottenham can maintain consistency to win in the next match.

But as you can see, even for the City there are no guarantees. I think that in a battle of three, even the weakest have a chance to become first, and as I already wrote, I do not consider Arsenal weak.

Well, I also do not consider Arsenal weak but I consider them disappointing. They have rose hope in past English premier League races and gave up in the dying minute. That is the reason I do not trust them a bit even though they are in good form. I will rather root for Liverpool instead of Arsenal. According to bookmakers, it might happen so. The title could still end in the back yard of the Citizens because both KDB and Haaland are very much available as against Liverpool who's major players are still injured. I will not be happy having Manchester City win this league again. It gives the impression that English premier League is like Ligue 1 and Bundesliga. Although, Xavi Alonso is set to end the heroic reign of Bayern Munich in Germany.

Well... in the sense that Arsenal couldn’t beat City and they were disappointing, I understand. But it's hard to beat a cheating club. But in the end, in the normal club competition last season, Arsenal came first by a large margin. And judging by the costs/results, Arsenal is the best (maybe I’m wrong and some have a better ratio sometimes, for example Newcastle, but Arsenal have been more stable in recent seasons).
Yes, Liverpool looks stronger overall, but not so much that you can be sure that it will play a decisive role, in general, I will be happy if any club knocks off City.

I don't sure Manchester City will take three points when away match against Liverpool try to defend on the top position if can secure one or three points.
Actually Liverpool must secure three points next match against Manchester City, if match result get draw its bad thing for both teams if other match Arsenal win against Brentford make them lead the top position.
Manchester City has advantage based on the match schedule, get more than one week taking rest than Liverpool have to focus on Europe League first leg match against Sparta Praha with three days left before facing Manchester City.

I just checked the Premier League table, and Arsenal has more goals than Liverpool. If Arsenal beats Brentford on Saturday and Liverpool vs Manchester City ends in a draw, Arsenal will top the Premier League table because they have more goals than Liverpool in the Premier League table.

They are one of the worst teams this season, the fact that they still sit in relegation zone doesn't surprise me a bit because they look like untrained players that are trying to fit into the space where big players are playing. They are weak, the defensive midfield is quak, the midfield is average because the always deliver and center forward are useless, they don't know how to manipulate, they don't know how to engage and they don't know how to make players go hay. They might still be in the Premier League but they are out already.

Aston Villa was one of the teams I had in mind from the start, small but mighty teams but along the way dropped down from their top and now it seems they don't have the outlet to let go of their carbon dioxide, they are burning but we are not seeing what they are doing, more like impressing everyone but no result. There top 4 to Champions League is secure but not the top place.

 I hope that Arsenal ability to destroy their opponents in the league will be contagious when they play against Porto in the Champions League. Arsenal's sharpness in the league is inversely proportional to when they have to face teams from other leagues such as the first leg of the Champions League, but Arsenal victory over Sheffield United should be could be a momentum for Arsenal in facing the next important match, but talking about the possibility of the team winning the first match and still winning in the second match, to be honest I don't agree with you, because so far we can see how teams that are in the relegation zone can be very makes it difficult for big teams, and sometimes even the team that wins the first match has to lose when they face the second match and vice versa, English league matches are difficult for us to predict, friends, and sometimes teams that are in the relegation zone will be very difficult to deal with, such as Luton, which is able to withstand Liverpool drew and beat strong teams like Newcastle and Brighton.

So far Arsenal is the team that breaks the opponent's goal the most and even in the last 7 matches Arsenal in the league they have managed to create as many as 31 goals and obviously they are quite savage for small team, not different like Arsenal, Manchester City has also so far been able to be a team that is quite ferocious in defeating their opponents including with an extraordinary comeback when destroying Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium,  I think both teams will continue to show their sharpness in the league in the coming weeks.

Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal are currently competing fiercely to be the best at the end of the season and apart from Arsenal's ability to score a lot of goals when facing a team that is indeed lever below Arsenal, it is necessary that Arsenal can also do this when facing big teams, currently games that rely on teamwork are indeed the hallmark of Arsenal so they are able to score many goals in the game against Sheffield,  But I think their real test will be to maintain consistency when they face big teams who have the potential to make it difficult and derail them to win trophies this season.

This weekend, Arsenal will enter second place in the Premier League table if they beat Brentford on Saturday, because Liverpool or Manchester City will drop points on Sunday.

That will be a tough match, both on top of the table facing each other. Football may some times be unpredictable but I suppose Man City has better chances of securing the win over Liverpool. Despite the difference between both teams, we witnessed how Arsenal dealt with Liverpool a 3 to 1 victory and we may likely see something not different.

After the Manchester derby ETH was still having that confidence on the team of doing better, he said his side was this close in the game and I was wondering why we get to hear him say sure after making the derby look like a friendly match between one of the best vs an amateurs (which is Man UTD). ETH was this close to getting packed out of his office as far as I can remember, this coach has completely lost it all as a coach because I don't see anything to be confident about after being flogged 3-1, being beaten every season by your neighbor is just a shame to the name Manchester Derby and I don't think when Pep plays against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer it was easy for him, it wasn't and this coach (Ole Gunnar Solskjaer) was even doing better against the Citizens, out of eight meetings he won 4, lost 3 and 1draw all against Pep. I feel the man ETH should leave the job at Man UTD because he's not fit for the job.

Cheers to one of them posters that cannot watch and see for themselves but follow the crowd and whatever's said by the media. Bad game I'd say, they was punished by Manchester City. Manchester City against Liverpool would be interesting game, Hopefully Gunner's utilizes this chance very well to land themselves ahead just if one of them drop points or possibly a draw.

I understand why you started your post the way you did but let's tell ourselves the truth, I say things the way they are and if you look at ETH when he was given the job he came like the Messiah to help UTD, the expectation was high (that's one of the things that is distracting him) if you don't know and that's why things are very hard for him to control.
You talk about injuries and all that, brother let me tell you, these players are not having that good relationship with the coach, Ole managed his players very well and he had the best players not these set of injury players we're seeing everyday, the truth is Manchester City has a complete squad than Man UTD.
First loss and it seems like they're in a better position or the have been doing pretty well, to be frank with you if another coach comes in to manage UTD things won't be the way they are now. I always expect Man UTD to dominate the smaller teams like Liverpool Arsenal and Man City but the reverse is the case, I don't know if the scout of UTD are not getting things right on their path that's why they do get injury prone players. The best thing to do is start all over again like rebuilding the team.
