The match official also protected Kyle Walker for his reckless challenge twice yesterday. He should have been red carded if he had stepped on Luiz Diaz yesterday but good he made wise decisions while tracking back and defending.

It was clear penalty, that wrong and short pass from Nathan Ake kept Manchester City in that situation. Ake has never really been a bad player actually but I do think it was due to the high pressure from Liverpool that made him kae that lose decision.

Many of us considered Liverpool and Manchester City to be the favorites for this season's title. And I thought the title fight would basically be between City and Liverpool. Many of us didn't think that Arsenal were favorites to win the championship. But Arsenal are in great form anyway. The team is consistently performing well. But it would be great if Arsenal could finally prove that they can also win the title this season. Arteta, as a very good young coach, has done his job well for Arsenal. The key word for Arsenal should be consistency seeing as the other two clubs, Liverpool and Man City are hotly on their heels. They have managed to rain goals in whatever game they've played and it's 8 straight wins for Arteta and his men but it could all come crashing down if they fail to maintain this trend and I'm certain Pep even if he says they (Arsenal) are Man City's greatest threat, won't hesitate to punish them like he did last season. For me it's like he always looks for opportunities to show Arteta that he's the master at the game and may get his chance when the Gunners visit the Etihad on the 31st of this month.

In Liverpool's own case, I feel if they as much as lose a game it will prove disastrous for them seeing as they have got most of their key players out injured and though Mohammed Salah is back, I still don't trust the Egyptian's fitness.
