After seeing Liverpool and City draw, Arsenal seemed to creep into first place. I think this could be their year to overcome the end-of-season blues and fight for the title. We all know Liverpool and City handle pressure well as May approaches, but Arteta might rewrite Arsenal's story. Staying focused and taking it one game at a time is key, and with point differential so small, every match may be a final.

Making predictions like this for Arsenal just because Manchester City and Liverpool drew earlier I think is too rash and even tends to be too naive because after all, at the moment their points are still the same as Liverpool and only 1 point different from Manchester City who are in third place at the moment.

In addition, we also have to see that Arsenal's schedule in the remaining matches for the EPL is still quite difficult because some big clubs they still have to fight including with Chelsea and Manchester City this month although most likely the Arsenal Chelsea match will be postponed temporarily.

Nathan Ake is to be blamed for Ederson injury, the pass he gave to Ederson was very short and the the goal keeper had to rush out to prevent Liverpool Darwin Nunez from scoring but unfortunately he collided with him and injured his leg. I really wish it's nothing serious and probably won't keep him out for a long time. At this crucial time of the season Manchester City needs Ederson to be fit and help them compete at all front. Ortega was very handy as he made several saves to prevent Liverpool from taking the lead in the game.

From what i have seen during the game that if city's players very often in making in accurate pass. It's started with rodri which was always too slow when he was passing the ball. Alvarez is a total flop in this game since he was only giving advantage to the manchester city through his inaccurate pass. It must be noted that if alvarez totally failed in this game.
Still wondering why pep gave him time to play for so long in this match when he was also very often in making blunder that might be costing the club a lot. Glad god was helping city to avoid the bad results from alvarez's blunder.

I hoped pep to replace alvarez when he showed very bad passing, but it was not happening. Im still very disappointed so caused by i was not willing to see the draw as the final result from this match. Manchester city is now having two competitors for EPL title.
The club needs to enhance its performance thoroughly for better performance in the upcoming game. Im feeling very bad with city missed the golden chances a few times.

I counter that city have got two shoots were hitting the bar. Doku was almost helping city to win the game through his shoot but it's not able going to the back of the net. It is deflected back after it hit the bar. The game was entertaining but manchester city are so wasteful in this game.

Officials can be dead in the head at times and it's football, it happened already and can we do something about it to reverse that incident? I do t think so.
The match official also protected Kyle Walker for his reckless challenge twice yesterday. He should have been red carded if he had stepped on Luiz Diaz yesterday but good he made wise decisions while tracking back and defending.

It was clear penalty, that wrong and short pass from Nathan Ake kept Manchester City in that situation. Ake has never really been a bad player actually but I do think it was due to the high pressure from Liverpool that made him kae that lose decision.
Virgil Van Dirk and the others made sure to keep Erling Haaland silent. I think this is a tactical approach for Arteta to also prepare for Manchester City next week. I'm coming to believe that Manchester City cannot beat Arsenal. You think so also?

Yeah there is nothing to do about the decision from now on. But this kind of mistakes made by the referees are really frustrating. Even while you have a VAR system in your hands you are still making simple mistakes...

There is no point difference between Arsenal and Liverpool at the moment. I believe anything can happen at any time if Arsenal don't make any mistakes. If Arsenal somehow manage to win the match on the 31st march, I don't think any team can beat them this season. How Arsenal have won two matches this week. They won by 6-0 and 2-1 difference. According to the current performance, we are definitely optimistic about the team.

It was the best possible result for Gunners. Liverpool and Manchester City drew and Arsenal ended the week in the lead. It's been a long time since they were in the lead. I hope we can see them here at the end of the season.

And Liverpool really feel the match in their home, because many people thought that they will use home advantage to defeat Manchester city to continue leading the table but Manchester city surprised people to first Liverpool to scored the first goal in the first half before Liverpool manage to equalized the goal in the second half to draw the match 1-1. I don't think, Arsenal will stay long in that position because some teams will lose points in their next match that will give Manchester city the opportunity to take the position back again.

Both teams gave excellent performances, but I was particularly impressed with Liverpool's play because they created a lot of opportunities but failed to take advantage of them. L.Diaz played a wonderful game, so I wasn't surprised that he was awarded as a man of the match. I knew he had several chances to score even a hatrick, but he missed them, but that's how football is sometimes.
Arsenal is leading Liverpool by a goal difference and leading Manchester city with 1 point, and now they will face Manchester City in their next match, but is there hope for Arsenal to defeat Manchester city? I knew that the match was not going to be easy for either team, and seriously, both teams played to my satisfaction. Anfield is the stronghold of Liverpool, this is more reason why I believe that Man City can only beat them with luck. More review shows that the ball possession is even at the side of Liverpool, and the pass accuracy too, so they are determined in the game However, Liverpool should still work on their firepower, if not for the penalty issued to them, it could have been a different story. The goal of Man City by Stones was early enough too, I guess Liverpool never expected the pressure at first but later woke up to the change, it was after this that things levelled up for both teams.

Above all, both sides did well and I love them for it. As for the coming Man City vs Arsenal match, I wouldn't view it the way you view it, I am rather taking a straight winning for Man City. Arsenal, though on the top of the table, I still believe they would drop because they are not my favourite to win based on speculations. Man City would win Arsenal for real even as the external forecasts I see today show a huge difference in the team with Man City preferring to win, which also buttresses my pick.

I think the officiating yesterday was good, both the on field and off field decisions. There was very little need for the VAR yesterday when Liverpool played Manchester City. Micheal Oliver took timely and appropriate decision when he whistled.

It was undoubtedly a penalty offense from Emerson and that was called out really early as it ought to. It was as a result of a mounting pressure as Liverpool was clearly the dominant side yesterday, I’ve never seen such a terrified Manchester City team like they played yesterday.

The result was justifiable though and best still for Arsenal.

Chelsea in terms of quality players ranks among the best teams in the English Premier League but they've not been able to maximize their quality players and bring out the best from them and that's why they've been struggling since over the last two seasons. After the club management signed Mauricio Pochentino to become the club manager last summer, I was of the opinion that Chelsea is eventually going to get better than last season but considering their current position in the league table, it's absolutely clear that they even had a better campaign last season than they're doing this season. The club management have tried in signing quality players to club but they also must device a means to make sure these quality footballers also help the team to improve significantly im their performance

Later tonight at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will host Newcastle for their match week 27 and must win the game to increase their chances of finishing the season in the top half. Chelsea with the kind of players they have aren't supposed to be struggling in the bottom half of the league table at this time of the season but that is their current reality. It's almost impossible for them to finish the season in a position that'll guarantee them European football next season but I still think they can finish the season in the top half of the league table. In their game against Newcastle United tonight, I'll be rooting for Mauricio Pochentino's men to claim all three points from that game

I'm blue fan and will be more happier if they're able to win the Magpies tonight, it's going to be a tough game for both sides but three points is essential and earned for the club that's standing strong enough.

Some could say Arsenal looked a bit disappointing in their game against Brentford, scoring "only" 2 goals at home, but if that's what they do on their "bad day" the future looks bright for them. Consistency is the key.
As for Liverpool Vs City, the 1-1 draw seems fair. City was bookies' favourite (a slight one though), but it was Liverpool who was a bit more dominating, at least when it comes to shots on goal and possession.

Lots of people are under estimating Arsenal, honestly if I will be saying the truth, am also underestimating Arsenal, because of how they do perform every season. Arsenal have been winning their matches lately with wide goal difference, that’s just because they we’re playing against week teams, most of the clubs they scored with a wide goal margin were average clubs, I will be calling Brentford a average club also but we saw how they played against Arsenal in their last last match, if not that Arsenal were lucky, the match would have ended as a draw, which that was what Brentford wanted in the match.

Kelvin De Bruyne was changed in the second half, not in the first half. The reason why he was changed was because the Liverpool defense has marked him off and his impact in the match wasn't felt again. Pep Guardiola has to make a change by putting Doku in the match, to pressure Liverpool's defense. Neither did Pep Guardiola know that it would be the worst mistake he will make in the match. I still don't think so, Manchester City are in good form too, and actually looking at the table it's silly to argue that any of these three are in better shape than their opponents. It's a matter of chance that now MC won by the smallest of margins and then by the biggest, the same can be said for Arsenal. MS and Liverpool had a powerful encounter, it ended in a draw, there is a high probability that this one will end the same way too

Don't forget Aston Villa in this case because when talking about the performance of both clubs (Aston Villa and Tottenham) I think this season they show more entertainment as a dark horse candidate after previously several clubs also have the same status such as Newcastle and Brighton.

But this season Brighton and Newcastle did not have such a good fate that made them a little shuffling in the middle of the table but not with Aston Villa and Tottenham who are currently still very promising even though there is a condition where currently Aston Villa is starting to weaken and a little hassle maintaining their consistency.
