1. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are teams likely to win the EPL title

2. Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Southampton are teams that may likely go for relegation.  

3. UEFA qualifiers should be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

It's too early to predict now, the league hasn't started yet and things won't be exactly as they say. I still agree when you call Arsenal and Manchester City the favorites for the title, but Liverpool and Chelsea are two teams that have just got new managers and it is likely that it will still be difficult to get the best place in their first season.

Tottenham, Aston Villa and Manchester United appeared more convincing in terms of opportunities. But what is certain is that I will never underestimate Liverpool and Chelsea even though they will start the season with their new coaches. Squad depth and good strategy will have a positive impact on the team's play, this will help their plans for next season.

Your picks are great and if they will be any changes in them, it will only be a little and most of the teams will only be at the position you’ve mentioned them to be. Where I see a strong unlike what you mentioned to happen will be those teams that will be going for relegation. It may differ in the end but maybe one of the three teams you’ve mentioned will fall in that category. I don’t think a team like Leicester City will go for relegation again just after their return from it. I feel they have what it takes to remain in the premier league after a complete season with them in the next season. Ipswich Town and Southampton, at least one of them will fall amongst the team to go for relegation but not Leicester City have you’ve said.

Arsenal and Manchester City I can agree, but the name Liverpool? No! They have a new coach who has no experience of the Premier League Competition. I double doubt he will be able to get a cup next season. This is my prediction and most likely and closest to win it this time would be Arsenal.

No, where is Brentford?  How about Nothingham Forest? I even see Everton struggling next season. Leicester City has experience in the Premier League Competition, I'm very certain they'll thrive. It all depends on the manager that comes in right now. A poor coach comes in and they'll struggle.

Ipswich has got a sound coach who is also young. They will not be relegated.
 
The top four is too difficult for me right now, I can make such conclusions. There's Aston Villa and also Chelsea thriving, we don't know what will happen. But it's best of we keep an open mind.

Whether a match is interesting or not doesn't just depend on who is playing. I know people are more interested in big matches between strong teams like Manchester City and Chelsea, but matches between mid-table teams can also be more interesting because they have almost the same squad depth. Of course it's true that many people are curious about what the new Chelsea manager will do in the opening match against reigning champions Manchester City, but it feels like the final result is easy to predict.

The Manchester United vs Fulham match also needs to be watched out for. Fulham is a good team where they managed to end the season in 13th place last season. I never said that mid-table team matches weren't interesting, some of the matches were even better than big matches.

It may differ in the end but maybe one of the three teams you’ve mentioned will fall in that category. I don’t think a team like Leicester City will go for relegation again just after their return from it. I feel they have what it takes to remain in the premier league after a complete season with them in the next season. Ipswich Town and Southampton, at least one of them will fall amongst the team to go for relegation but not Leicester City have you’ve said.

Leicester lost Maresca, I think this is a very significant factor, yes they can sign a contract with Potter, and it will be a good replacement, but I admit that the team with Potter will change. I try to avoid making forecasts before the start of the season, at least for the first few rounds to understand how ready the team is for playing in the Premier League. And I’m also not sure about Liverpool, for the same reason, Klopp left the team and Slot took his place, it takes time to understand how well he can manage such a team.

It is too early to start making such a prediction. But since it is called prediction, there is nothing wrong about it. You tried in your prediction but in my opinion I would say that you should remove Leicester City from the clubs that will be relegated. Those guys have go to the experience of English Premier League, in fact they have been the champions of the English Premier League in recent time so they will not return to relegation is easily.

I will also want you to remove Liverpool from the clubs that will contest to win the English Premier League. Their quality has been dropping in the recent time and for the fact that they have a new coach makes it more uncertain.

Finally, it could be advisable to include Aston Villa in the clubs that will contest for the title this season. I believe the ability of Aston Villa more than that of Chelsea.

I agree with you. I think Chelsea's opening Premier League match against Manchester City is the most interesting. City are a strong team but I think everyone wants to see how Chelsea do with their new coach. The next interesting match is Liverpool vs Ipswich. Even though it will be an easy win for Liverpool but I wonder if Arne Slot can make Liverpool the same as the Klopp era. There is nothing interesting in other matches. I think the favorite teams will be able to complete their respective tasks.

Chelsea opening game is what many Chelsea fans have frowned against, they don’t want to meet Manchester City first because they’re scared of incuring a big loss to them. This is to the fans, but I don’t think the players will feel the same way or neither will their new coach be. It is just the beginning and father season, and they’ll be trying their new tactics out to see how it will go well for them. It could be in their favor and may not be in their favor if it doesn’t work out as planned. Manchester City are still with their old coach, and we have seen what they can do with the team in the field. Since Chelsea is a team to be led by a new coach, we are expecting to see something different kind of approach in their game.

If Arteta has tried the same players for two good season and they make a similar mistake, he should never give them a chance to repeat those mistakes again and the players that cost them such losses should be dispose off, if there is offer in the table and it's going to be beneficial to the club, they better sell them, there is going to be more good offers and young once for replacement for the sold players so they can come back next season to give all their best this time for the time.

I am also thinking that Manchester City are winning not just because of Guardiola pattern, it's because of the current squad he has right now. Remember Arteta work with him for years before he start solo playing for Arsenal, he would know better how to handle pattern with Guardiola but the squad is what I think are going to giving him advantage over other teams. Didn't you see even Liverpool almost bag the trophy but they also made the same mistakes Arsenal made and theres was during the end of the season.

Well, those players who actually had problems with the coach have already left Manchester United or are not in Manchester United right now, lol . Because they are on loan and playing for another club. Some players have directly said that they are not going to ever come back to Manchester United or something along those lines. It is actually a little surprising to see a Manchester United player saying the exact opposite. Good for Manchester United and the coach of Manchester United I guess. After being thrashed so badly by almost the whole world and also the media, this is actually good to hear, lol.

Don't forget the time when they didn't have Ten Hag in the team Manchester United had many problems and they didn't have a good station in the Premier League at all but Ten Hag helped them to get improve and have better performance. However, he was not successful enough compared to many other teams but I think Ten Hag is a good coach for Manchester United and he was just not lucky enough to have a better place in the league.

Liverpool was changing the coach and i think they still required time to adapt with Arne Slot even personally Arne Slot trying to be realistic that with his debut season in Liverpool he didn't dare to promising anything to Liverpool fans because he know Premier League as the most competitive league in Europa so it's not easy to managed team in this league so for next season although i hope Liverpool can able to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal for race title but i think it's too early to called them the strong contender for these teams

I was interested want to see the performance of Manchester United for next season because seem Ten Hag will do a major changes for this team and if they don't have another injury storm i think their performance will be much better and they can being an strong candidates for Champion League zone but besides Manchester United i want to see Aston Villa too and looking forward to see their performance later whether they still be able to maintain their consistency next season or not especially Aston Villa having a busy schedule because they have to playing at champion league

On paper, the match between Chelsea and City is fairly easy to predict, where Pep Guardiola fleet is very worthy of being the favorite to secure full points. You may consider the chance of those teams based on the squad quality, unfortunately it doesn't always happen as predicted when the season starts. Aston Villa was one of the example, no one predicted that this team could finish in the UCL zone before the season 2023-2024 started. In fact, Aston Villa could beat Tottenham, Chelsea, Man United, and Newcastle last season.

The new coach seems not really promising enough because he never won a prestige trophy in the top leagues in Europe. Arne Slot is only a local coach in Dutch football domestic competition. In his career, he only managed local teams such as Feyenoord, AZ Alkmaar, and SC Cambuur. So far, he just won 2 trophies, Dutch champion and Cup winner. He never won UCL trophy, UEL trophy, or top league trophies in Europe. So, I think only Man City and Arsenal which can compete for the title.

Yes, maybe it's too early but there's no harm in making temporary predictions because choosing experienced clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and even Chelsea, that's fine because these clubs still have a big chance of winning the Premier League title even though Liverpool and Chelsea are experiencing a bit there is a problem with changing coaches, but these two clubs still have players who can be relied on and experience is always an important role for clubs to win trophies at the end of the season.

I agree with you, those three teams will still going to be among the top of the season next premier league competition to embrace the title, because they are still in good form to display to make their fans happy through out the season. If you watch the match of Leicester City and Southampton last season, you will no that relegation zone is not going to be far from them next season, because their managements are not ready to sign in new potential players to boost the team next season. Champions league competition, I think Chelsea and Manchester united will going to try to be among the top in that competition but it will be difficult for them to win the title, because Real Madrid will not allow such thing to happen next season base on some kind players they are using next season.
