These friendlies are a good opportunity for coaches to experiment a lot, to come up with good strategies, which is why getting good results in these matches is a good thing. But some coaches don't give importance to friendlies

And when the serious matches start, you notice that the players are out of rhythm and out of coordination, it takes them many rounds to start playing well. But if they had played in friendlies they wouldn't have these problems. In my opinion, despite Chelsea having made a lot of signings, I don't see them finishing in the top 4 this season that is about to start. I see them fighting to stay away from the relegation zone.

Apparently on the basis that he was misunderstood and there were thoughts that he might be called to coach the England national team. Although these rumours are still going around, there could be offers of this kind, but I'm not sure he would want to leave Manchester City to coach the national team, I think he's someone who needs games all the time, not just once every few months

It was definitely a rumor, immediately I saw the reports of him being linked with the job i wasn’t too surprised because he is the best in the business at the moment and every available coach for his role will have to include his name, but knew right away that’s Guardiola isn’t going to just sign for England even though he leaves Manchester city because they don’t seem to be playing his football. Guardiol can only manage national teams like Brazil and Spain and not England. Also at the moment I think Pep doesn’t seems to have find anywhere he can go from Manchester city at the moment, because he is very much welcomed in the club, he is europe highest paid manager so why change if not just have challenge.

This squad is definitely a very young squad and also has many squad, even though it is not good to judge the team performances on pre season matches I think Maresca will struggle first before getting a balance from the team, better he does that In the pre season matches now before the season starts

I also think Chelsea played poorly against Celtic and did not meet my expectations too. They struggled to work together and had weaknesses in defense making it easy for Celtic to win. Although preseason games are for trying new things and building teamwork Chelsea performance was still disappointing. But it is good to see their coach Enzo Maresca trying to create new style of play. I think they will get better in future games. With more time and practice Chelsea can find their rhythm and become a strong team again.

Although Manchester United had a good attack in the beginning, but later they could not attack their game much. Anyway, in today's friendly match, Manchester United will lose and Arsenal will win. Chelsea less than optimal result against Celtic in a friendly match has raised doubts about Enzo Maresca ability to manage Chelsea. The players were not well coordinated, the defense was very easy for Celtic players to penetrate. I don't think Celtic is weaker than Chelsea because they are currently managed by Brendan Rodgers who is a former Liverpool manager. Chelsea previously also achieved less than satisfactory results from a team from the Welsh League (Wrexham).

Improved performance was highly anticipated after the change of coach, but Chelsea performance is still far from what was expected. Both teams always bring their all to make the game interesting each time they meet and this isn't a new thing with UTD playing out poorly in a friendly game, I wasn't impressed by what I saw from the Red Devils. Manchester United have the attack more than the Arsenal side and still lost the game, so what will happen when the main event begins? Will Manchester United still be looking for who to blame their lack of form on?
The problem is these guys claim to be Man UTD but they aren't united in anyway and I hope ETH is taking note, the fans ain't happy to see their team losing games when we have about 2 weeks before the new campaign begins, something positive need to happen and the team is not even convincing to say they can do well next season.

Before Chelsea's match against Celtic started, I predicted that Chelsea would potentially lose because I saw Celtic's match against Manchester City and to be honest, I was amazed by Celtic's achievements, especially in terms of attack, and against Manchester City, of course we saw how strong Celtic were, of course. indicating that Celtic's strength cannot be underestimated.

Now of course we have seen the results of the match and Chelsea were forced to swallow the bitter pill in that match because they lost with a score of 1-4 and of course we will not know about Chelsea's real strength in the coming season and of course now Maresca's task must be correct. really improving the Chelsea squad well and of course I see that the back line, midfield and front still need to be improved.

There is no need to be disappointed with the results of the pre-season matches that Chelsea got and did not compete for any trophies there. Because it was like a training for every team that even they all still have more time to make improvements after the results of this pre-season. However, I will not conclude because I am more waiting for their real match later. They must be able to experiment in a friendly match like this, because the time to be in the competition is getting closer, so they don't have much time and it is impossible for them to experiment in a real competition. O'Riley scored the first goal in 19 minutes and I was thinking that Chelsea would score in the first half to be equalized but instead K. Furuhashi scored the second goal making it 2-0 in the first half and in the second half L. Palma and M. Johnston scored 1 each that made it 4-0 and it was C. Nkunku scored one goal for Chelsea. And if not C. Nkunku Chelsea would have ended up with 4-0, what a shameful Match.

Liverpool has just starting their pre season matches yesterday that they can gets positive results from their first match because Liverpool can able to overcomes Betis with narrow scores 1-0 and Liverpool starting the match with some of their young players such as Quansah, Bradley and Fabio Carvalho and they were taking initiative to playing attacking since the beginning of match even Liverpool got several chances to scores but unfortunately during the match Liverpool only able to scored 1 goal

Arne Slot actually didn't too satisfied to this result because Liverpool should be win more than 2 goals but he says this is positive progress and after this match Liverpool still have at least 3 friendlies matches against Arsenal, Manchester United and Sevilla and Liverpool first match on Premier League is they will fight against promotion team Ipswich on August and for the match against Arsenal Arne Slot is still targetting win result

On the other hand i was interested to see the results matches of Manchester City because as defending champion Manchester City still unable to gets the winning results from their pre season matches because after lost from Celtic in the first match but yesterday Manchester City is suffering another lost from AC Milan and i know this is only friendlies matches but i think Manchester City should be targetting win results from those matches because if we see from the quality obviously Manchester City quality is above to those teams

I was just surprised to see the result of the match. I never expected Chelsea to concede so many goals, even as we know that most clubs don’t really make use of their main squad in pre season matches, but Chelsea's performance was so poor in the match, their defense was just so weak, which was very easy for Celtic to penetrate. Four goals is just kind of much to me. Let’s just wait and see how Enzo performance will be when the season start, but from the way Chelsea played their last match, seriously, Enzo Maresca really has a lot to work on. I can’t conclude yet on his performance. Let’s wait for the season to start and see his performance.

But it is good to see their coach Enzo Maresca trying to create new style of play. I think they will get better in future games. With more time and practice Chelsea can find their rhythm and become a strong team again.

I just hope Chelsea will be able to have patience with their new coach. We know one of the problems Chelsea always has is a lack of patience with their coach. If they notice that the coach's performance is kind of poor, they won’t really give him enough time before he will be sacked. They want a coach that will give them an instant result, not one that will build the team gradually.

I actually understands what he is trying to do here, he is just biding his time, by keeping people in the dark regarding his future, so that if he feels like staying, no wan will questions it , and if he also feel the need to change, it wouldn't be like a surprise to anyone, but in my own perspective, I really do think he might seek a new challenge elsewhere, if what he is expected from the hierarchy of Manchester isn't met.

Secondly, another thing I observe about this Manchester city side is that, the team is getting old and it needs rebuilding after next season probably, so I believe that pep guardiola is trying to know how committed the hierarchy of Manchester city will support him in the rebuilding process before he decides to commit to the club, but since that time hasn't come yet, he just wants to keep everyone on suspense while he makes his observations, and I think it's a logical thing to do as a manager that knows what he actually want,  that's my opinion though.

Manchester City knows without Guardiola is not strong anymore. Manchester City lost many players but still had good performances in the last season and this team thanks to Guardiola could win the Premier League while other teams like Arsenal had good performances so far in the games we saw from them,
However, recently Guardiola showed the green light and said he is going to stay in Manchester City for a longer time.
 

Pep Guardiola who has built Manchester City club into what it is today he who has created a history that will never be forgotten for Man City, I know it is very hard for the club to lose Pep Guardiola but I am sure even though Pep leaves the club, Man City will be fine their performance is still good in the EPL because they still inherit the players built by Pep.

Yes I also saw the latest news if Pep is willing to extend his contract with Man City for another year meaning that until 2026 which will be exactly ten years, I fully support this coach's decision and I also still want to see Pep win many awards with Man City before leaving the club.

Maresca doesn't have much time to test the players in matches, even though the matches are friendly, but he has no other opportunity to do this before the official matches. Chelsea will now have several matches with City, Real and Inter, I think that Maresca will want to play with the lineup that he will consider the main one, at least a few games, to determine the team's readiness for the new season. So far, Celtic has beaten everyone in friendly matches, apparently they take this very seriously.

These friendlies matches shouldn't be taken so seriously and shouldn't be used as a basis to judge team credentials for the upcoming season. One thing I have noticed about preseason matches is that, the smaller clubs are always more serious and winning or drawing with big clubs, why because the bigger teams often utilize more of their academy players and some players that came back from loans. While the smaller teams don't usually have much players coming back from loans so they are always playing with the main squad that ended last season. These matches are just used to warm up and get the players back to shapes so it doesn't really matter the scoreline so do get yourself too attached to the scores. It's better to lose these preseason matches and have your players fit, than winning them and get your players injured along the line that will lay them off for the start of the season.

Chelsea were indeed attacked by Celtic and several goals were scored due to Chelsea players' passing errors, but if you look at the team as a whole, it was indeed quite weak and did not play as it should have, even though this was only a friendly match, of course Todd would consider this a crucial match and I am sure Enzo Maresca will be threatened, because in two friendly matches there has been no victory for Chelsea, actually when faced with Chelsea's current situation all coaches find it difficult because in terms of players almost all of Todd Boehly's wishes, almost no players were recruited according to Enzo Maresca's wishes. In my opinion, both failures were bad results from the players not from the coach, it seems that Enzo has tried his best but everything was hampered because the players lacked in passing and also attacking the ball to score goals, Chelsea players are all young and I hope they can develop, I am sure Enzo Merisca can optimize all of that, I am sure they will be a frightening young team, but all of this is just a matter of time because Enzo Merisca needs time.

It was good performance from the Arsenal team once again. They are looking sharp going into the season. I trust whatever Arteta has been doing in this Arsenal team. I think what’s more interesting is seeing they have a decent young team that can play cup games and do well. Overall it was a good workout and I’m pleased to see some new first team faces, I think they played better vs Bournemouth.
The Arsenal squad that featured yesterday looked ready. It’s a very big good position to be in. The integration of these young players is something I’ll like to see Arteta do when the season starts.
Manchester United still have a lot to work on. Ten hag cannot take this defense into the season. More defensive signings need to be done if he wants to make the top 4.

I don't think so, this is just a friendly match and the coach's job is to design a strategy or try out some new strategies, especially since Enzo Maresca is a new coach handling the Chelsea team, of course he wants to try out some friendly matches so I think the pre-season match will not have any effect.

To build a team that has been slumped is not easy, Enzo Maresca needs support and also time to be able to improve the team's performance.
If Chelsea management expects something instant, I think they will never find it.
The mistakes in the last few seasons should be a lesson for Todd not to repeat them again and try to process to be able to improve the performance of the Chelsea team.
