It was a goalless first half and I see that Casemiro is active in the match because his presence is felt. I hope to see one side scoring in the scond half and if United don't improve their performance and work towards scoring they might not win their opening match and that will be sad.

Fulham will try to tighten their defense and not allow as many chances as they allowed Manchester United. The Fulham defense has held so far, they need to try attack as well. Adama Traoré made good use of his body strength in the first half, he created a good opportunity that Fulham could not finish. If Fulham can use the little opportunities they have, they can get all three points from this first game and really start the season well.

Till now it's still goalless and Fulham is possessing ball more and they are playing well. Though each side has collected yellow cards. For Man U. M. Mount and H. Maguire has taken yellow cards while for Fulham, C. Bassey has collected yellow card. And not the Match is 70 minutes and the way the game is going, they might play goalless draw.
But have to wait till the end of the Match.

Fulham keep proving a defensively strong team, and they are also not bad attacking wise because they also have experienced players driving from the wing, and they are mounting some pressure into Manchester United's defense.

I most commend the effort of both teams for maintaining a clean sheet to this level; indeed, all teams are prepared for the new season, and no team is willing to lose or drop points easily.

We have less than ten minutes to go in the match, and no goal yet; Manchester United fans are not happy at this moment because they never expected the match to come this far without a goal from them, but they are trying really well because they have created more sorts on target than their opponents. I am hoping if Manchester United cannot win, let them try to maintain the draw because Fulham can win them as well.

Although the start of a season will be very tough but I expected Manchester United to be better than this if they really want to let this season to be good for them.

Am glad they won the match today but it's just going to be for some hours before Arsenal wins tomorrow with more goal points and tops the league. However, it's so funny that Manchester United was able to score just one goal in the match, the first team to win a match this season, the first team to secure three points and stay top 1 in the EPL table but at the end won't win the EPL title.

The performance I saw today against Fulham was not what I expected. They were supposed to win them without stress, but they were lucky to score today.

after having a very good first half with complete possession and dominance of the ball, thier performance in the second half was far from what you expect from a team like Manchester United and they had to struggle before having the late goal that placed them in a three point advantage at the moment. The outcome of this match and how they've played has already shown that they still has a lot to do with how they show complete control and dominance of the ball in this season. They've won and have secured all three point which is what matters most but going forward against a stronger and more formidable opposition they need to work on a lot of things both tactically and individually if they ever want to find themselves at the top 4 of the premier league table.

Well ion the contrary, i don't think Chelsea doesn't understand the effects of having quality players only, I think it's mainly them wanting to make some needed reshuffling in the team and I believe their coach has got a strategy where in the players signed will fit in and those sold weren't fitting in maybe, so basically they have got something which they are up to and they know much better so we can't be concluding already from this end until the season begins it will become much clearer and we get absolutely parameters for judgment.

Chelsea currently has a fat squad to compete next season and that is actually a good thing but also very bad in my opinion, with the many choices of players currently available, of course Enzo Maresca has many choices in building the team and determining their main line up in next season, but on the other hand, there will be many players who may not get enough playing time at Chelsea, which will indirectly make the internal condition of the team unstable because of the desire of each player to play.
Chelsea currently has 44 players in their squad and just imagine how confused Enzo Maresca will be to determine their main players next season considering that each player has different qualities and performance in the squad, most of Chelsea players are young players and I dont know why do I think Chelsea should need to add there are several older players in their line-up next season to stabilize experience and stamina.
In several pre-season matches we saw that they were not able to show good play and performance, so many fans doubted the quality of the players that Chelsea currently has.

Don’t get me wrong but it is quality players that they are buying from the other clubs. But the problem is that whenever they sign someone, it looks like they forget how to play football. They become very mediocre. Mudryk for example hasn’t been able to live up to his hype. I don’t know what it is, Almost every new signing they did turned out this way. Nkunku is another explanation. The players who performed last season are Palmer and Gallagher who were their previous players. And I think it is quite stupid to sell their best player. But he is also been called back. I don’t know what is going on right now in Chelsea. The new ownership is harming Chelsea if you ask me.

Congratulations to Manchester United for taking their first three points in the Premier League 2024/25 season. A clean sheet is a good start for Onana, and Ten Hag is lucky on this one, I will expect some improvements in the squad in their match.

It seems to me that Manchester United is still lacking a lot, but that Manchester United's main problem is the coach and since Manchester United has 1 main coach and 2 secondary coaches, it means that the 3 coaches have not been able to have a good vision for Manchester United to become a very strong team. For example, in the case of this game against Fulham, they were supposed to be able to win with some comfort if the Manchester United coach had opted to play with the new attackers from the beginning. Honestly, it doesn't make sense that 3 coaches didn't think that playing with the same players who haven't performed well for 2 seasons would not be good, so they should have put the new attackers in from the beginning of the game.



Joshua Zirkzee came on in the 61st minute of the game, if he had played from the start, I think Manchester United could have scored more goals. Another thing I can't understand is why Jadon Sancho is not part of the squad for this game when he is not injured.

The match has just ended, and Manchester United were able to secure a win in the match, but I am kind of disappointed with their performance. They dominated the match, and there was so much pressure on Fulham, but Manchester United had so much opportunity in the match. I am just surprised that they could only score one goal in the match, which is really bad for them.
 
With the opportunity that Manchester United had in the match, they should have even scored more than one goal in the first half of the match, but throughout the match, they could only struggle to score just one goal. Seriously, I never knew Fulham would give Manchester United such a different time in the match.

Rashford and Amad started the first half and they were unable to make a proper game work in order to score a goal but if you observed after their substition bring in Gnarcho and Joshua, these two players were able to work things out and created a golden chance which Zirkzee didn't miss the net and Gnarcho made the assist.

It is good that United started the season with victory but they need to improve in their performance because Fulham is not a team that should give them much difficult time before scoring just one goal. They will only top the league toady and go down tomorrow because they only scored one goal.

I don't think MU won unfairly or anything like that, no, a win is a win whatever it is, it's 3 points for them, a good start to the season for them. However I think their win was very tentative, they have some work to do judging by the way they played against a weaker opponent. I would be wary of how MU will play going forward, they need to adapt quicker and correct their own mistakes

We have less than three hours to the premier league opening match of the new season2024/24 session.

Manchester United is the favorite to win this match, they have signed some quality players that will do well because they are young players that are willing to play to help their team and their educational career.
Statistically, and based on previous matches, Fulham won their last match against Manchester United, but Manchester United used to win them in several occasions.
Fulham also made some signings which include Smith Rowe from Arsenal and the young player have recorded a goal in their preseason match; I will expect the game to be tough but United should take the lead narrowly.

It was a thriller to watch and I have to admit that I never expected Man UTD to be so put together. In the first six minutes of the game, Fulham seemed to poach at Man UTD's defense, making them work doubly hard to cover any loose ends and would have gotten a goal if Tete's header hadn't been brushed off by Onana. I expected Fulham to continue putting more pressure but just like they say about toothless bull dogs being all bark and no bite, that's what they just did.
 A first win for Erik ten Hag and Man UTD on their season's opener all thanks to a beautiful slot in by new signing, Joshua zirkzee gave them all the assurance that three points is theirs. A commendable start for the 23yr old Dutch forward and it's safe to say he was able to adapt easily unlike Rasmus Hojlund who had a difficult time.

I also had the same perception at the start of the game. About Manchester United, from the start of the game it seems like it will be very difficult for them to win Fulham, but knowing that Manchester United will not like to lose these three points is what makes me have the hope to watch the game to the end. Lucky enough, Zirkzee was able to get them a goal at 87 minutes of the game, making them able to achieve those three points. But to be sincere, if they finished this game on a draw, it would not have been a good start for them because people already have hope in them, and in the preseason we all don’t take it as something that will affect them. Although Fulham was not easy for them to win, they were able to finish that game on a score of 1-0, which is a good start.

Manchester United won their first premiere league game yet I wasn't impressed by their performance because their pattern of play isn't a sustainable one that can get them anything good this season, basically they appeared to me like they are yet to be done with their trial and error. Again this has proven to me that ten hag has got no finite strategy or even a workable tactics that should be considered promising.

The kind of substitutions he was making made it clear he's yet to build a solid tactics with which he would want to work with this season, even their game against Manchester city earlier, they had similar performance, Manchester United has still got a lot to work on and Rashford alongside Fernandes needs to do a whole lot of work on their abilities to minimize the gravity of mistakes they do.

The game have ended and it took the intervention of Joshua Zirkzee who who came on as a substitute to score the only goal that ensured Manchester United gets all three points from the game. This is the club's first competitive game of the season so I'm not going to fault the manager too much however, I feel it's awkward to start the game playing Bruno Fernandes upfront when you have a striker like Joshua Zirkzee on the bench. Now that Zirkzee have rescued the manager and club from losing any point in their first game of the season, I hope the manager will learn to start him in subsequent games

Most of us didn’t see this coming, a game that went through the first half on a goalless score line and both teams managed to hold it on till the 87th minute. It was a game that was done for and I wasn’t very pleased with Fulham to have not let this draw come to light. This was definitely one of such much but, Zirkee from a Garnacho assist put Manchester United in front and they’ve got 3 points to start the season in winning ways.

If I will give my sincere opinion, I would say that Manchester United played below expectations, although it was a first match so a lot of mistakes were possible. If Fulham had converted their chances, they would have even won the match because they had more chances than their host. Without the late goal of Joshua Zirkzee, the match would have ended in a draw which would have been a very bad way for United to start the season. Nevertheless, a win is all that matters and three points have been secured which is a good way to boast the confidence of the players.

So it all ended 1 nil in favour of the Red devil's as expected. Though Manchester united dominated to a large extend the entire time of the game but where at same time struggling to convert their chances and I think it's something Ten Hag needs to pay attention to quickly this season .

With countless goal opportunities wasted it is substantial to say that Manchester united only had to win this match narrowly because they were playing with an average team who on their own part were with no much chances to get a goal. For perhaps United were playing against a top level team who knows better how to create and convert their own chances then this game result would have taken a different view. United! There's much work improvement to do.


Joshua Zirkzee coming up from the bench and making a difference is fucking exciting as not every player get a goal on their debut match to save their club a crucial 3 points in the start of the season.
