Looks like Manchester united won't be able to take home this three points available in their first leg game with Fulham, I was thinking that Manchester united after their preparation at the pre-season games, that Fulham would have been an easy opponent team side to win, but seem they're finding it difficult to defeat Fulham at this point, and if this happens will be a very bad start of the season for Utd team if this game ended in a draw.

At last, Manchester United won their first game of the season, to be honest, Manchester United's performance has changed in this game, this isn't the worst Manchester United we saw last season, they played a fantastic game today, Zirkzee scored on his debut for Manchester United to take the three points in their first game, this is the result I've usually want from a striker, he did what he was brought to the club for, scoring the winning goal to save the team from sharing the points. However, the manager had to be careful in how he substituted some players, I'm not sure if Zirkzee was ready for this game, and Ten Hag left him on the bench in the first half and used Bruno as a striker; look at the chances Bruno missed in the first half of the game, I believe if it was a player used to the position, he would have converted them into goals.

If Ten Hag can be decisive enough to learn how to bench and utilize some of Manchester United's frontline players, about half of Manchester United's problem will be solved, making Manchester United have a better season than last season.

I see Ten Hag as one who has difficulties in making the right selection of players to be featured in a match. That's why he keeps having the wrong set of players in the frontline that won't deliver good results for the team. I don't know whether Ten Hag needs to be reminded that there are players to play in a match and there are ones to bench because of how the tempo of the match is.

I just wish Ten Hag could learn how to bench Rashford, Mount, and Bruno for a while and tryna utilize the newly signed players more often to see how progressive the team can go with them in the premier league title race.

My decision was right with my doubts to put a bet on Manchester United was wrong, even though Manchester United won narrowly and it was very obvious that Manchester United were still having difficulty in finding points even though they were playing at home, I was worried that my bet was not on my side in my predictions and beliefs for Manchester United I know that Fulham is better than Manchester United, with conditions like this Ten Hag has not changed Manchester United much in the last few seasons.

Yeah, that's true. Manchester United played better. Though their attack was less aggressive. But i still expect more in the upcoming games. Other than that, there are also huge improvements in United's passing network as well. It's getting even more structured compared to us last season.

I didn't watching the match but only watching the highlight of this match and indeed Bruno Fernandes got several opportunities to scores and maybe Manchester United can win with more than 2 goals from Fulham if Bruno Fernandes can utilize those opportunities to scores but unfortunately he wasted it and probably because he have no goal instict which his real position as attacking midfielder not the striker

Actually i was wondering too why Ten Hag used different strategy with make Bruno Fernandes as the striker because i know Rasmus Højlund still got injured but i think make Bruno Fernandes as the striker is very risky and actually Manchester United has Rashford and i was wondering why Ten Hag didn't played him as striker because i think if Rashford played on that position Manchester United can playing more effective

I know Manchester United won but this is not their best performance so far and next match i am sure will be very hard than this match so in my opinion Ten Hag shouldn't make the experiment again and using the same strategy jjst like he used before

Bruno Fernandes is actually not a striker. My criticism of Erik lies in his decision not to consider such aspects. Then, Erik also did not give much trust to other players to replace positions such as the goalkeeper position.

Actually i was wondering too why Ten Hag used different strategy with make Bruno Fernandes as the striker because i know Rasmus Højlund still got injured but i think make Bruno Fernandes as the striker is very risky and actually Manchester United has Rashford and i was wondering why Ten Hag didn't played him as striker because i think if Rashford played on that position Manchester United can playing more effective.

This is what really got me surprised here, why would Eric ten hang play Bruno Fernandes as a lone attacker when Marco Radford is in the team, and couple with the fact that Bruno Fernandes was just wasting all Manchester united clear cut chances, though Manchester united was the better side overall but I feel that they were quite lucky to snatch a late winner, because the game was already heading to a draw.

Secondly, while watching the match yesterday, I was thinking that the defensive lineup of Manchester united will struggle due to the fact that it has been their major from last season, but by the look of things, it's very obvious that Eric ten hang use this particular summer to do his homework, and sincerely speaking their was a great improvement from Manchester united defensively, so if they can continue to be sound defensively this season, then I believe that they will actually do better than last season.

I really don't know what Ten Hang is trying to achieve playing Bruno as number 9. If he should continue that way, believe me there won't be any difference as it was last season because there were no creativity in the midfield. Although, I must commend their defense for being solid yesterday despite there were a lot of missing chances. They actually tried but I don't know how some people are happy with such a performance where many chances were not been converted, it's an average team mentality. Mason mount doesn't deserve to be in the first eleven squad but Ten Hang is not noticing it. The only positive thing is that their new signings are showing their worth and that's impressive.

Fulham didn’t create plenty of chances yesterday. The few ones they created, they weren’t able to convert them. I would say Manchester United were lucky though. I think they would have conceded if they were playing against a better team yesterday. Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton or Brentford side would have converted one or two of those chances yesterday.
Maybe the God of football was on their side yesterday.

Mid teams like Fulham should not be difficult for a strong side like Manchester United to beat. They failed to show their superiority yesterday even though they later scored and won the game.
I expected them to win in the first half of the match, but they were struggling to convert their chances.
I think Ten hag has to be trusting his players. Maybe if he had started Zirkzee from the first half, they would have scored more than just 1 goal.
