It was quite a disappointing day in the English Premier League today with so many matches ending up with draws. Fulham also truly messed up a game which they are suppose to be getting all the 3 points into the bag when they are playing a much better offensive game than Crystal Palace at the stadium of Craven Cottage, but the defense of Fulham are just too horrible as they are always unable to clear off the ball inside the danger area and that allows Crystal Palace to stage a comeback and punish Fulham for it.

Disappointed or not disappointed depends on point of view bros. For those of us who chose the underdog team, today is an exciting day, because we won a lot of bets on those unexpected match results.

It’s true though, that Arsenal having to beat Coventry with a higher goal margin doesn’t necessarily mean we would see the same from Manchester City or some of the top teams in the premier league but, it was expected that they would go above 1 goal though, at least 2 goals.
They won in the end and that’s all that matters.

Either one goal or dozens of goals, I think what truly matters is the three (3) points, and that's exactly what Manchester City got, last week Manchester United beat Ipswich five goals to two, and people where expecting Liverpool could do more, but it all ended in two goals to nothing, does that mean Manchester United has a better team than Liverpool? No, my only joy is since the departure of Pep the Arsenal fans believe they no longer have any opposition, but so far so good they are not the ones topping the English Premier League standing for now, so it doesn't matter how many goals Arsenal scored Coventry and how many goals Manchester City also scored them, what really matters is the point and the last time I checked Manchester City has it all, so what's the noise all about.

And a lot of things happened tonight, and I didn't think Fulham would lose. There isn't much of a difference because there is just one goal, and I didn't have high expectations, but Fulham undoubtedly gave it their all. They would have tried to find a method to even draw the game because it is only a one-goal difference. They lost three points as a result of their failure to win, which will be beneficial to them because points are currently the main goal for everyone.

We cannot afford to squander any points at this juncture, and I am confident that Coventry City cannot overcome us therefore, even though today's game finished in a tie, I am actually quite happy that the city also won. I didn't mind that we were playing against them because I even anticipated more goals during the game. And that is why we have to continue winning so that we can start with an unbeaten season.

This is going to be the first real test for Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea, Arsenal have already had theirs with Aston Villa and they came out ontop, I would like to place them above Chelsea for this one but it’s not going to be easy.

I think Arsenal’s attack is decent, though not scoring many goals but they’ve been doing well in all positions and if they play how they’ve been playing it might still be a clean sheet win for them.

Chelsea is still looking like a team that’s still getting it together, a bit shaky defense and not so coordinated midfield, if they get it together then it may become difficult for Arsenal to win but for now my money is on Arsenal.

In reality i saw some difficulties in Arsenal, but simply because the new players must be able to fit into the team's mechanisms in the best possible way and this takes time, while Chelsea started from scratch with a new manager who knows how to move in order to do damage, but is still in the process of setting up the team.

I was not expecting the game to be easy for Manchester city because I have already  checked their previous games how it use to be. You can not compare a team because of what the other team played against them because game do change.

Football is not always like that. There is variation most of the times. Manchester city is different team from Arsenal, and we don't expect the same play or pattern from them. We couldn't even expect the same goal scoring amount, yea.

What then do we say..., Brighton won Aston villa 4:0 in there opener, while arsenal won that same Aston villa just 1:0. Now this week, the same Coventry that Arsenal won 3:0, played Aston villa and it ended goaless draw. So, football is always rotating, and we can't measure the present match with the previous score line.

Coventry did very well to only concede just a goal from city, but that doesn't mean city didn't do well. It's not easy to win matches. After all, they won convincingly in there last match. After everything, just three points is paramount and most precious.

Coventry city is not a team that I feel can win the match against Manchester City, they’re bigger and tougher than them as they won’t even give them a chance for the win in this game. Manchester City have started the season very well and I feel they will have a more chance at the title this season with the current squad they have now and how they’ve been playing since the start of the season. With the one goal halt time lead for Manchester City, I feel that they’ll score more goals in the second half as it will favor them the more.

Manchester City was unimpressive today. A one nil victory over a small side like Coventry is unusual for Manchester City and feels like a loss. Under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City would have scored at least 4-5 goals. After this game, I believe City fans will probably start getting the feeling that Maresca tactics will be the start of their downfall.

Klopp is obviously a far better manager than Slot and Iraola put together.  I’m one of those who believe Slot only won the premier league because of the foundation Klopp had built at the time, however, Liverpool’s challenges this season has nothing to do with the manager. They are missing quality players in the right back position and midfield. Once they get this sorted, they may just find their feet again.

Klopp is not in anywhere like them put together when it comes to the managerial role. He is better than them and will have a more chance again and again for the title race than them even if given the chance again. Liverpool have really lost their feet, one may have to doubt them for a title win this season if they continue in this form and not improve anytime soon. This will really be a tough one for them but I feel that they can still adjust. 

That’s what I said, there is no football fan who would argue otherwise. This season’s title race is between Manchester United and Arsenal, Chelsea might finish third place. As for Liverpool, I can’t really say where they will finish at the end of the season.

having the 3 points is important but this doesn't mean goals doesn't count also or aren't important. I won't rate Manchester city performance or said that Arsenal has a strong team than Manchester city because of a single match. Arsenal scored more goals against Coventry than Manchester city, this doesn't make Manchester city performance to be less than that of Arsenal because football is unpredictable. It is too early to rate a team performance based on goals or points.

Is there still anyone here who believes that Hull City, as a newly promoted team, can continue their positive trend and secure their third consecutive win by beating Aston Villa? If you still believe they can, Hull City are priced at around 4.30, which is fairly high odds.

Although Aston Villa have experienced a significant drop in form, I believe they will not simply give up in this match just to lose. The best possible result for them might be a draw. I will try my luck by choosing Hull City or draw in the double chance market at odds of 1.94.

They almost did, but the CF( Oli Burnie), missed alot of chances. He was also gasping for air every minute, maybe he still needs time to get used to the EPL. The game ended goaless, which I never expected.  At first, I expected Aston villa to win easily by 2 goals or more, but it turns out I underrated the newly promoted side. Hull city frustrated the Villa's attack today, the Hull city defence was very strong, and now I see why Man United couldn't beat them. Hull city later had dangerous chances in the second half, but couldn't convert any.

To be honest, I don't see Aston villa performing well in the UCL if they continue like this. 3 games without a single goal is a bad sign for a team playing UCL.
Hull city is a very strong and competitive, and I think with their performance today, they should be a team to watch this season, they would cause issues for big teams.

As much as I agree with you that the current Manchester City isn't as convincing in their performances like the one we saw under Pep Guardiola, it's also important to say that we can't conclude now that they can't challenge Arsenal for the English Premier League title this season.

Not winning with a big margin against Coventry isn't enough to say that City didn't get a good result, this is their third win in three games in the EPL campaign. Getting maximum points in games that you couldn't perform like you were expected to is one of the ways to know a team that can win the league.

I don't even understand why people are talking down on Manchester City for winning Coventry with just a lone goal. Maybe those who are criticising Manchester City didn't actually watch the match to know why it was difficult for City to score many goals. So, it is justifiable for Arsenal to win with just a lone goal in their last match against Aston Villa but Manchester City won Coventry with a lone goal and it is becoming a problem. 3 points is very important because even if a team scores as many goals in a match, if they don't get the 3 points it means that all those goals are just wastage.

Sometimes, big teams do find it hard to win these promoted teams so we shouldn't even make any comparison between how Arsenal handled Coventry and how Manchester City struggled against same team. Just like the match between Bayern Munich and Schalke 04 who is a promoted team in the Bundesliga, who would have believed that Bayern Munich will end that match without scoring any goals. Manchester City got the 3 important points, that's all that we care about and not the number of goals scored.

as a team that’s just been promoted to the premier league, i think hull city is doing very well. it’s surprising that they’ve remained undefeated in their first three matches. they haven’t faced particularly easy opponents so far, and i was really surprised even when they beat manchester united in the first week.

next week, they’ll likely face their toughest match yet against chelsea. it’ll be very difficult for them to come away from that game undefeated, but i can’t say for sure they’ll lose either. it’ll be a major test for the team.

Arsenal won against Coventry doesn't really mean other teams will record the same thing, rather maybe they will just win the game against them. As for Manchester City I don't really see them doing the same thing as past seasons and is why that I can't actually give them a winning in this match is said it before the match, now Manchester City scored only 1 gaol against Coventry, many people thought they will score many goals as Arsenal.

To be honest, I don't see Aston villa performing well in the UCL if they continue like this. 3 games without a single goal is a bad sign for a team playing UCL.

Aston Villa wouldn’t probably go far this season in the Champions League because this performance is very disappointing and it’d be hard for Emery to bring them back to their best competitive form like last season for the reason we all know.

Hull city is a very strong and competitive, and I think with their performance today, they should be a team to watch this season, they would cause issues for big teams.

Hull City have a really good team and seems like  their spending on new signings was a wonderful idea but the real tests are yet to come, so let’s see how they perform against Chelsea in their next premier league game next week then we can say whether they can cause trouble for some big teams or not. So far they’re having a good start though.

People should realize that the arrival of new teams following promotion to the Premier League should not be taken lightly. And teams like Coventry City could very well pull off an upset or even produce an unpredictable result in a match. The arrival of these new teams in the Premier League is a result of their strong motivation fueled by the tremendous effort they put forth in the Championship. They didn’t get here just by luck, where their struggles so far have shown that they possess a strong fighting spirit to take on any opponent. I personally actually avoid betting on matches whose outcomes are still unpredictable based on head-to-head records. And I’ll only dare to place a bet if the statistics clearly indicate how the teams have performed against each other in previous meetings.
