Maybe they're doing it wrong at Cryptsy?

Clumsy clumsy!
Just got an email from Cryptsy. It said that Our System says Your Problem has been solved. Logged on. Checked:
Unotanium wallet off-line for maintenance.

Update email to me from Cryptsy one minute ago:
they are on it. No update-completion time available. They thank us for our patience.
Yeh, okay -- at least they're communicating.

To my knowledge, Cryptsy has never stolen a damned thing from anyone.
I'm not a computer nerd, but I do believe that maintenance must be performed from time to time on files that are constantly being updated and changed due to trading.
I for one am happy Cryptsy exists. Fees are reasonable. Security is good. Inconvenience is minimal. They have never had a scandal.
They long ago solved the "trust" problem, and they don't carry out their business on a Google Docs page. They are eons ahead of CERTAIN PEOPLE.
Being politically correct and likeable is not a pre-requisite to trading there with total strangers.
They do everything a well regulated exchange needs to do.
All of the belly aching here is embarrassing. Some people spend their days making noise and trying to solve problems that don't exist.

Yes, Uno is very lucky to be on Cryptsy. I really like this exchange. Its one of the few exchanges where the location and ownership is known, and subjected to US courts. They are the exchange I use the most, trust the most, and have the highest expectations for. Bittrex is close behind. Because of the nature and history of Crypto, I think caution is always warranted when coins are not in your wallet. It is very inconvenient when I can't move my Uno, and when things like this drag on for days or weeks (which sometimes they do with Cryptsy), it ticks me off. Their communication isn't exceptional, and the support while well meaning sometimes seems confused.

Some people have a hard time resisting troll bait. (me)
Another one of life's many paradoxes, people who complain about people complaining. HAHA. I think the kids these days call it being "butt hurt"
That is sort of the point of Un-ex imho, to do something that isn't being done.
Commiserating often helps others feel better, no problems.
To be totally frank, it is your attitude that keeps you excluded. Instead of just rolling with it, being a mature adult, what ever, fuck you guys, don't wanna be in your group anyway, and moving on and still being productive, you lash out with these character attacks against people, which is fine if THAT is how you choose to be. Don't think anyone here really cares that much. Normally all of us here tend to treat this sort of shit like you would an annoying child, you just ignore it. If you don't fuel the fire, eventually it will burn out. (yet here i stand fanning the flames)
I touch upon it only because it appears you are really hurt to harbor such ill feelings over something that happened a couple weeks ago on the internet. You have made numerous mention that you are here for money and don't believe in the touchy feely shit, then why would you wanna be part of a group that has illusions of grandeur while you don't believe in altruism existing? Life is what you make it, if four people choose to be altruistic with each other, than it exist, if you like it or not or choose to believe in it or not, doesn't make it any less real between those individuals. I am not about to start some type of crazy argument on if altruism exist or not. I think people are generally self motivated creatures but it doesn't mean we can't do selfless things.
On a personal level i hate begging and hold grudges for a while, but instead of lashing out with personal attacks why not just chill a bit and just be a nice member of the community. You aren't dumb, not that you need to be told that by me, but trying to tear others down just looks pathetic. You should know better.
I personally reached out to IMZ and expressed a level of distrust for you, Gekko. You came in hot and heavy and the air of hubris around you stinks to the high heavens.

I can't believe people are so positive about Cryptsy. I avoid them like the plague.
Their trading interface lags horribly and I generally have to refresh the page to see if anything has happened after I click the button; I often find I've placed a buy order and the sell order vanishes right after I click (not filled by someone else, it just vanishes); they always have dozens of wallets "in maintenance" that lasts for weeks or months and you can't withdraw funds; they seem to be extremely slow about applying wallet updates; they often ignore other changes like currency name changes -- Jumbucks is still listed as Coinmarketscoin despite the name having been changed months ago and the developer's repeated requests for example; their support will initially act helpful, then lie to you, and then ignore you.
I never have these problems with any other exchange. Cryptsy is terrible.

Brevity causes confusion. I had good reason to call Cryptsy 'clumsy' yesterday, but chose not to burden you with the detail.
In my next email to Cryptsy, I said that 'Cryptsy is a bastion': so I agree with Falling Knife in the big picture; but I note also that worth's experience -- 'Their trading interface lags horribly and I generally have to refresh the page to see if anything has happened after I click the button' -- is my own, and it's disconcerting!

Agree. Cryptsy is a problem. The vanishing sell orders problem alone is criminal. And the add the dozens of wallets "in maintenance" purgatory. At the very least Cryptsy must be willing to work with UNO community directly and immediately regarding any delay of withdraws. (Why? because UNO has established itself as a solid Top 50 coin, and Cryptsy is not willing to provide 10min to communicate with Knife directly, then it is just disrespect ) Now that said UNO community is resourceful enough that if we wanted better treatment I'm sure it could be gained (say establishing a solid line of communication with Mullick?). Best Solution. Continue the drain.

I've said it for a long time, we should all withdraw every last one we have on there in a coordinated fashion at a specific time, for a specific time period. That would at least allow us to know what we're dealing with.

@edgar
yes, the rule of thumb is 'better in your wallet than in cryptsy's'
but if we have a 'coordinated pull' my guess is that will at least get some attention
also we can monitor the wallets to see what goes down (lil' blockchain forensics)

Cryptsy wallet working. Got a withdrawal in progress.
But buying Uno remains un-nervingly glitchy, with orders sliding around all over the place.

Interesting observing and comparing UNO and CRAVE technical specs, market, and community. Overall, I think the comparison benefits UNO. I don't have any CRAVE, but I did buy some more UNO today.

Those sellers are being coy now. They want us to chase them. No. We're hotter. :-)
