You're awesome Cryptapus! Just sent you 2 Uno.

Does this give UNO all of the benefits of Electrum for Bitcoin such as Trezor compatibility and multisig? If not, can you explain what benefits this does give us?

Trezor, no, AFAIK the Trezor firmware is hard coded with bitcoin address versions. Yes on multi-sig though.

That's okay; Siameze, aka shinohai, aka 161803 is looking at Ledger and Trezor code, he thinks he'll be able to make Unobtanium Ledger compatible. It's several pages back now, but he mentioned you in regards to someone who may be able to help with UNO API so that the Ledger software has something to reference. I'm not sure on the details, but check out cryptoguild and send him a message if you're interested, you'd be included in a reward that a few people have agreed to contribute to.

Thanks again for adding Electrum support, I'll explore the details and get it operational when I have time. This is really cool!

I'm trying to heat up the markets on Cryptopia. Someone just bought a load of PR from me in the BTC market, sold 150 in the UNO market as well.
tipping and spreading.
I do like Cryptopia, it's growing on me.

Cryptopia is growing on me a bit. I like how Unobtanium and even Prototanium are regularly at the top of their list (#1 and #4 respectively in bitcoin volume today). The 0.2% trade fee is the lowest of all our exchanges, and of course it has UNO as a base.

However, I've got a couple of gripes. Say you place an order to buy 10 UNO at 0.0055, then it gets cleared by 64 sells of 0.15625 coins each (As often happens on smaller exchanges where either bots or micro-traders make lots of tiny trades). Well, now on the trade history page you have a list of 64 trades instead of 1 completed trade. This is the same bullshit that Cryptsy does, I DON'T WANT TO COPY/PASTE 128 DATA POINTS INTO MY SPREADSHEET. Even if you feel like people should see how their orders were filled, at least offer two different view options. Bittrex and Poloniex simply show that your total order was completed, not each trade that completed it. I suppose I could add the trade to my spreadsheet when I place the trade, but then when cancelling/shifting the order I would need to remember to remove it from my spreadsheet, and would run into the same problem if it is partially filled. It's better if the trade history page is a concise and complete record. Gripe #2: They do not include trade fees on their trade history page. This means even after I've copy/pasted all the data points into my spreadsheet, the data is still off by 0.2%. If they had an option to filter and sum the trade data like Poloniex does, I could just multiply the total 'bitcoin in' by 1.002, but with the current setup I would need to add every single order manually then multiply. Even though I'm clearly a bit crazy about accuracy of data, I'm just not willing to spend the time to do that, so my spreadsheet will forever remain inaccurate due to Cryptopia.

Perhaps I will e-mail Cryptopia in hopes that they change how user trade history data is presented.

Greetings All,

I've forked Electrum 2.4.4 for Unobtanium:

https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-uno

Seems to be working so far. Please let me know if you see any issues.

I also have 2 electrum servers running. If you would like to run an electrum server to support the clients, please see:

https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-server-uno

Please let me know if you are running a server and I'll add it to the list the client uses.

For more general information about Electrum, please see:

https://electrum.org/#home

That is great!! Thanks for supporting Uno Cryptpus.

I use Electrum for Bitcoin most every day.  It's wondeful.

I wasn't clear. Is there an Electrum/Uno client for Windows?

Happy to help if I can, I'm guessing he's looking for a reliable method to get unspent transactions and a pushtx service... Quite familiar with both and know of a few options. Feel free to ping me if I can assist. Not quite sure that I'm ready for another forum just yet, it's hard enough keeping up here and reddit...

Currently no windows executable, and I'm not sure when that can happen. First off, I don't have/want a windows box so I can't really test efficiently. I have had some success getting an installer built from wine, but a colleague reports that it's not working. I probably need a windows guru to tell me what I'm doing wrong...

If you're brave it runs just fine on a linux box since python is built in. If you're missing some python packages it will tell you... Similar is probably true on a mac as well but that's pure speculation...

Edit: I should add that my colleague was able to run it using python 2.7 on windows. So if you're up to getting python27 and pyqt running it should work (with maybe a couple of other dependencies it should warn you about).

Apologies, forgot to say: Thanks!

It's been my belief that tipping devs is very important to keep their interest and incentivize good work. I've always urged folks to do so. It's nice to see the same applied to my work (although "good" might be a stretch... Smiley   ). Thanks!

Uno is rare across all exchanges right now.   This is Bittrex sell side at this moment, and as you can see there's not much meat there right now. And that's probably the market with the most aggressive sell side.  2 BTC puts it at 008

I don't think the sell side is going to come out until we back up in the 0075-0085's.  Uno hodlers are a patient crew and we know these 005 prices are an opportunity.

You deserve 100x more, but I'm a stingy person overall to be honest. I'll 1:2 match up to another 2 UNO for Cryptapus. So if I receive 4 UNO to the address below, I'll send 6 to Cryptapus. If I receive 2, I'll send 3.

@ gripes about how exchanges are set up:

it's astonishing how uninterested the designers are in their users' experience. We should have a gripe session about this for our birthday. My dis-favourite is Hitbtc, which seems determined to make trading as difficult as possible.

P.s.: has anyone noticed that the majority of troll-box users on Cryptopia are Spanish speakers? Wasn't the case when Uno was listed. It would be interesting to know what coins they are trading.

Its about 00:00 UTC/3 Oct. I'm going to sign in on Cryptocat chat,  channel: Unobtanium
If anyone wants to attempt a chat, join me there. I'll leave it on for a bit.

For info on Cryptocat, go to Crypto.cat

I've been tipping a lot of UNO on Cryptopia chat and asking people to look at UNO's base pair listings there a bit more. The Spanish users have been going crazy about receiving a bit of it. I've tipped 25 UNO out through the chat there, and I've been liking the choices and set up, just very, very low volume for how many users there are. Diggin' the users though, really friendly people.
