@hemeras
Volume is a multi-faceted multi-layered very complex issue.
1. Yes in general gaining regular position at 'top 5 on criptsy' would be nice.
2. In terms of consensus long ago we decided, and in fact the code/coin is structured, to be a store-of-value NOT a currency. Currencies require vol. at all times and most also have inflation built in to maintain price point (which none have yet to do but Doge is the closest). So currencies do volume and must always be gaining new user adoptees and/or dropping in price. Rare coins don't trade often but when they do (see DMD just this week) they hit big numbers for a few days. After 1 year of trading P-n-D, the general market is starting to appreciate the store-of-value coins, and 'get' their utility.
3. Mid-term goal is to return to a solid base line of support. This means the turtle squad will be called back up into action and hold a line in the sand. But for now it appears that most of the bigger backers are withdrawn from the field. So it is a great time for new comers to join up. But I faithfully believe that within the next 100k blocks you'll see a massive fortress of bids ... not pushing up but holding a solid progressive line ... say 90day average. Why? Because dumps will be smaller and less frequent and as always there is virtually no inflation to coin-tend with.
4. That said. UNO has the potential to go towards volume, if traders see the advantage of using UN as a base pair.
5. holding 10% on the exchanges can be a good thing ... to each their own % of tolerance ... but yes setting a 7 day high ask and then taking the bitcoin earned and bidding at a 7 day low is a good technic to provide liquidity+stability and likely recover all the UN you sold off. If all goes to plan ... bots will be doing just this too but at 7 min hi/lo spreads and across dozens of markets.

Yes, POW, not POS. Thanks for letting me know. I blame Christopher Latham Sholes for placing the W so close to the S on the qwerty keyboard. It should now be instantly fixed everywhere I've posted. That was one of my worst typos ever, though.

The hospital has (Ian Ridgwell reckons) some form of nanny Net. So, I have two transactions with trx ids (one Uno, one Proto) that just won't confirm because they can't find peers to connect to ('cause the system prevents it).

That's awesome. @IMZ: I'll send ya a PM, I don't know if what I said was sort of unclear, but I live in the US, so I was meaning buying silver from you and having it shipped here. I certainly don't mind paying first in this instance. The guild, I am looking into and have to make an account. As far as cryptopia goes, I've gotta check it out. I've looked through there but I've not made an account.

This is about as big a chasm as I've ever seen at Bittrex. Sellers don't want to sell for less than .009, Buyers looking for a steal around .005. Between 006 and 008, there's just nothing. We're going to have to meet somewhere in the middle or this stalemate will continue for a while.

The final 1/2 of the fund has been sent to HashEngineering as stated in their requirements. If you need any support for the Android app please contact Hash via PM or on their thread. If you find the app useful I would urge you to occasionally drop Hash a donation to keep their interest and support (there is an address in the app). My care of the project is now complete, please direct future questions/comments to HashEngineering.

Awesome, Cryptapus!
This is exactly how a decentralised society would work: a l i t t l e 'centralisation,' probably undertaken by members-in-good-standing, for a limited period, under frank two-way scrutiny.
Thank you kindly.

Do you guys agree with this? I agree that a natural rise back to 0.009+ is likely in the coming weeks, and I agree that a large pump is likely within the next 6 months, However I don't think this dump was part of a plan orchestrated by a whale. The reason is because I didn't notice a lot of accumulation below the large sell orders. Myself and a few other known entities around here bought up a lot of the asks, and there wasn't enough accumulation via buy orders to make the dumps part of a plan. Unless the whale is really great at being sneaky, used Gecko's dumps as cover, & is able to acquire more below 0.006, I think this was just Gekko getting frustrated with his mac wallet and making some very foolish sells. This SethRollins person likely just saw the sudden downtrend and assumed manipulation, but I don't think anyone has been watching the UNO market activity as closely as me over the last few weeks

I guess we shall see. I still think it's in a good state for a pump. Uno is historically well below (what I consider) fair value. It's a good point from which to launch a pump, imo.
With a couple of exceptions, most Uno pumps have been long term (weeks long) affairs. With a coin this rare requires patience for accumulation and distribution. The fast 5 minute pnd pumps just leave a few gambler losers and happy low accumulators. But a slow pump can coax out the sideline Uno onto the books. Otherwise, there just isn't a lot to be had at any given moment.

0.008 wall on cryptsy has shrunk & holy moly is all that bittrex volume real? $1,900 at 0.0079. I'm leaning towards fake because I did not see such massive asks there even an hour before the large buys happened.

It's funny, really seems like $UNO doesn't pump well. Just stable. When will cyrpto people and others finally figure it out? No worries, I'll still be here then, too.
Problem is, with the GFC going into high gear, it seems no one has even woke up to that fact yet. By the time they do, it will be too late...

Yes, the GFC is the greatest bubble the world has ever seen fueled by the largest amount of debt ever created. It simply can't end well. The western governments know the end game. If one reviews the massive encroachment on the civil rights of the citizens in those countries, he or she will see the writing on the wall of the expected chaos. Governments will always protect themselves at the cost of the citizenry.

There are two Bittrex users with more than 1,000 UNO in their accounts. Move some of that to a desktop wallet friends! This is a really cool feature, props to Bittrex for adding it with their last update. The more transparency and data the better. It's interesting, since most users likely store their funds in multiple addresses (the 0.10 wallet encourages it), the blockchain distribution doesn't reflect true user distribution. Of course the 'largest wallets' feature helps that somewhat, however it is still primitive and addresses are only linked when someone sends funds from multiple addresses in one transaction. So this exchange data is actually the most accurate distribution data available (Unless individuals use multiple accounts but that seems unlikely/uncommon). I would love to see the distribution on Cryptsy.
