I have received 2.0 and .5 respectively. Now, what am I doing with this extra .5?

Also, I'm in the CryptoCat channel.

BitcoinCharlie and I are chatting in CryptoCat, I'm testing out Cryptapus' dice games (again, I've played them a fair amount many months ago)
and testing the Android wallet QR snapping, which is working WONDERFULLY!

Yeah, this is the most time I've spent with it. It's really a great app.

Get it for Android.

A lot of great things have happened for UNO in the last year, and the Android wallet was one of them.  I'm super excited about what awaits for Uno in 2016.
Uno keeps moving ahead.

IMZ: I sent you back 1.1 UNO from your test send (made profits with your coin playing dice!)

@FallingKnife: I sent .5 UNO back to BitcoinCharlie from your .5 sent, also extra profits from dice. I'm still up 3.2 UNO after sending back to you guys. Lucky tonight I guess.

Glad you guys are enjoying the android wallet, I'll test it out with dice soon. RDD informed me that you can set and name the different % bet addresses in your book and just gamble through the app, that's awesome!

BTW: 1.2 PH/s

Federal investigation of Cryptsy with more than 300 pages of allegations. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Criminal Investigations Division of the IRS.

http://coinfire.io/2015/10/04/federal-investigations-of-cryptsy-underway/

GET YOUR UNO OUT OF THERE WHILE YOU CAN

NOTICE: They have given each user 3 withdrawal coupons, which means that you can withdraw your UNO without paying a fee.

I'm using 2 of my coupons for my Unobtanium and Cannabiscoin, and saving the third in case there is a low, large sell order on Cryptsy that I want to dive in and claim then withdraw.

EDIT: Those quotes are intense!!! "Looking at the worst offenders in cryptocurrency.....Cryptsy and Project Investors will find itself to be in the Top 5."

“[we have] undeniable proof of direct market manipulation by the company.”

"recent information indicated potential transactions with suspected terrorists......both Project Investors and Cryptsy were aware of an account on their platform being used by an individual with ties to banking watch lists and restrictions"

Reddit comment: "Wow, if any of those allegations are true, Cryptsy is going down in flames, and taking a huge chunk of the altcoin market with it."

We have more than $50,000 worth of UNO there, do not let yourself be a victim, withdraw your coins to a secure wallet.

Hey Nat,

Do you have more info about the coupons?

I was following your conversation in the trollbox and immediately cancelled all my orders and pulled about 5 BTC out.  It looks like they charged me the fee.

Cheers,

It was directly under the withdrawal fee box on the withdrawal page that pops up.

It said: "Use free withdrawal coupon (0 of 3 used)" with a checkable box next to it.

If the Cryptsy cold wallet does not go below 30,000 from this I will be suspicious that a lot of those belong to Cryptsy itself, especially with these sketchy allegations. If most of those coins are owned by active traders who check cryptocurrency forums regularly then it's absurd to have more than 10,000 coins there at the end of the week, but it will not be below 20 or 25,000. The possible explanations will be: A lot of those belong to Cryptsy. Inactive traders who died, had a life crisis or forgot about their funds there. Or people are just incredibly unbelievably foolish.

Coinfire are a bunch of fearmongers, its how they make their money through clickbait.

HOWEVER...

if any entity was to be under scrutiny I beleive it would be Cryptsy. not because of any wrongdoings though I am sure they are guilty of them, rather because they offer a single point of attack for regulators and governing bodies to pull the threads of the cryptocurrency project.

IMZ have spoken about this many times. It is not a matter of 'if' cryptsy will go down but 'when' cryptsy will go down. It is the most attractive centralised point of attack for governments, regulators, compeditors, bankers and thieves. This also leads to the unfortunate scenario in which 'what will become the next most opportune point of attack' is a required discussion.

Coinfire has been inactive for 4 months though, would they really just come back with a giant fabricated story? It seems strangely detailed to be fabricated as well.

It may be proven to be true, but I am skeptical of anything CoinFire publishes. CoinFire has been hacked before, they lean toward sensationalism, they seem to have axe to grind with Cryptsy, and their sources are sketchy at best. I wish it had been ANY other bitcoin industry publication than CoinFire.

Secure off-line storage and air-gapped transaction signing using Electrum:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQumISxkJsQ

Kind of a poor quality video but I thought this might be useful for folks interested in securely storing coins (or looking for a place other than an exchange). Potentially a more convenient method than paper wallets.

Get electrum here:
