re: yes it is very goxXy like Quark, World, Hyper, Franko in 'maintenance'. I've seen Black and Digibyte also be listed in 'maintenance' but are clear right now. The bitcoin and litecoin withdraws are open as far as I can tell. --- All of that boils down to this: Government regulation, laws & exchange security is all very complex and mostly obscured to exchange users, but people can be certain that with a pen+paper, some USB drives and a few minutes to a few hours, they can make their funds safer away from exchanges.
well put worth a repeat

The Cryptsy wallet is draining over time. In January, 2015 there was 46,000 Un there. Today there is 35,000 Un there, a 24% decline already in 2015.

Gekko, good to see you still have an interest in Uno.
Nat, my only issue with CF is their demand that I trust them without any hard evidence. Thats rumor mongering, not journalism. They may be right, but how I can judge that?
IMZ, to be fair I don't think Un is the 2nd strongest blockchain (yet). We're strong, but I'm pretty sure NMC, IXC, DVC are ahead of us in total hash.
Unobtanium Electrum wallet: anyone struggling to download the Uno blockchain or having problems connecting to peers, you gotta try this. Its fabulous. I'll be updating the op and website soon to include it as a wallet option. I have now sent and received coins through Uno Electrum and it works exactly as Bitcion Electrum. Your keys are private - you can control them and restore them. It works just a regular Uno wallet, except you don't need to download the blockchain. If your computer crashes, you can restore your wallet from the electrum server. Really a sweet service to have for the community.
Good things happening, guys. Make your own decisions, but I am acummulating here.

The Cryptsy wallet is draining over time. In January, 2015 there was 46,000 Un there. Today there is 35,000 Un there, a 24% decline already in 2015. 2000+ were mine. Might be Wolong. Ya never know... "Gekko, good to see you still have an interest in Uno." Yeah, ya know, in a tiny, tiny way because..."nodes". I never heard of nodes for 18 months in BTC, Doge, and Uno going back to Jan 2014. A couple of small brushes with other silly coins: never heard about nodes. I dumped because of nodes. I use a Mac because I want to do what I am doing and leave what the computer is doing to the wonky ones, who love that shit. When my wallet just stopped working, I said to myself, "I can't just keep all this shit on Cryptsy, nobody knows what nodes are besides the wonky ones, this has NO GENERAL CONSUMER MARKET. The Bro's on Bitcointalk are all mocking me because Mac Users Don't Open the Terminal. Because that's wonk territory that us MASS MARKET CONSUMERS do not care to learn. If I don't feel like learning it, nobody does. UNO remains a small esoteric club until they fix the wallets and remove the word "nodes" from their vocabulary." Hence, your current price point. That is UNO without me propping it up. It has been swinging well, so, within it's tiny illiquid market, happy to buy at .0056 and sell at .006whatevers all night and day with pennies. Who has actually spent money with an "android wallet"? Who had done anything other than mentally masturbate with "Protainium"? There is coding to be done. I can't do it. Nobody else is actually proposing more than spit and duct tape solutions for the Mac QT wallet, thus, I sold and am micro-trading uno. Keeping the price in this low range I established personally. Want more people to buy UNO? Mac owners are wealthier and dumber at computerizing than Linux and Windows wonks. Get the infrastructure out of the ghetto. Then you get the Mac Market money.

Could someone with a Mac download and try the new Electrum wallet for Mac? https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum/If it works like the Windows version it should make the Mac users very happy. It disintermediates users from conf files and all of that other stuff they don't want to see.

I just discovered Multipool.Us is merge mining Uno. https://www.multipool.us/stats.php?curr=unoI even have a little balance there from bitcoin mining. They also mine IXC and NMC.

Sorry that was probably me I was basing it off of coinwarz (sorting down by hashrate it was right under bitcoin), but apparently there's a lot more to mining power than a simple hashrate number. It seems that Coinwarz doesn't list many coins, and even for Namecoin the hashrate is just a question mark. Anyone know of a better hashrate comparison site? I was also recently informed that Scrypt is about 1,000x more difficult than SHA-256, so Doge's 1.x TH/s is about equivalent to UNO's 1.x PH/s in network strength. Regardless, we are strong.

GO btc Rush! Tweet it ... yes will do. -- up from 16th/s yesterday check the difference made in 1 year btc #1 network nmc #2 network uno #3 network (source best guess) **reason .... BTC will always be #1, just cuz ... Name Coin, nmc, will likely hold #2 because the mining operation is only around halfway, and just about to start era2, this means HIGH inflation but that brings eager miners .... UNO #3 (maybe) .... ixc is older but fully mined out and just rewards fees only, so it is grandfathered into the MM system but has less capital and less momentum than UNO so if it has more MM hash today it will likely concede #3 spot to UNO because un still offers a small but considerable mining reward each day ... #4 dev coin as far as I can tell a scam, huge daily rewards that go to a 'foundation', miners are likely dumping asap ... #5 ixc ... #6 I owe zero ... i0 ... offers basically zero reward for blocks and is nearly identical to ixc

Yes, unlike IxCoin $IXC, Uno will not be completely mined out for 300 years. IXC pays NO rewards today, and because it's barely traded there are virtually no fees distributed to miners. Their main advantage is longevity, which is fast becoming an asset of Uno. Unlike IXC, $UNO will continue to reward miners for a very, very long time thanks to Blazr2's foresight.
NOTE TO THE FUTURE (year 2315): If you are wondering what to do about paying Uno miners now that it is mined out, perhaps it would be ok to fork and "re-issue" some of the lost Uno that has not moved on the blockchain in the past 250 years or so. Reclaim the abandoned wallets for the community and re-issue, but keep the rarity cap at 250k Un. My god, if the coins haven't moved in 250 years they probably wont' move in the next 500 years either. Give a public notice to everyone with a 250 year old wallet to move the coins or lose them.
