If Chelsea win another cup, it will only mask the problem because their fans and owners are trying to win the Premier league. If Chelsea put together a run they might be able to secure a top four finish but with Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa looking strong enough to finish as the top three Chelsea have to start winning before it is too late.

That's exactly what happened after we won the WC before the start of this current season. It masked the problems we had throughout last season and the recruitment we did was downgrade on what we had upfront except Estevao who is not even playing- I haven't being seeing the owners in the stadium as they used to; are they also tired with the shit they created like the most of us ? 

Anyway, I think it's good to avoid betting on Chelsea for the time being and not leak money.  Lol.

Except you're going for BTS or Over goals - this is what I've been playing in Chelsea games knowing how shit our defenders are.

If we are being honest, there are probably massive issues when Chelsea are unable to beat Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. It was a game that they were expected to win. This result does not help Maresca as he wants the board to bring in new players because his position as manager is increasingly under threat.

I didn't pay much attention to the Premier League table, but now I see that Arsenal is only two points ahead of Manchester City. That seems to be over. Given their current form, there is little chance that they will be able to resist the pressure. Liverpool could not withstand that in some previous seasons, and they had a stronger team and a more consistent form. Simply put, Arsenal are losing this season because of inexperience.

I think around this time Arsenal's squad is fully settled. Every match is decided by one player. In previous years, it was only Odegaard, Trossard, Martinelli and Saka who made the difference. Now that burden has lifted from them too. Eze, Madueke and Zubimendi have been like a breath of fresh air for the team. I think Gyökeres will come to good form soon, with time. City's game is improving, but they have too many weaknesses. Arsenal and Villa are much more cohesive and better teams compared to City. Arsenal are doing quite well despite all these absences. That's the advantage of having a deep squad.

Team play is very important. Injuries are a normal part of the game. If the combination of play is not right, multiple injuries can bring bad times for the team. Every player of Arsenal can now make a good impact. Rice, Saliba both are  plays an important role . On the other hand, Manchester City has overcome the previous bad situation and has improved a lot. They have played good in the last month. Aston Villa is giving them tough competition in the point table.

Chelsea stopped being fixated on football a long time ago. It is more of a company that deals in the trade of players. How many managers have they changed over the years? Nothing new from them.

I was totally against it and wasn't happy with the sack although Enzo has been a real bitch for some time now but still doesn't warrant the brown "envelope" he was growing some wings from being a "Yes sir " manager to some strong head one and that's exactly what the owners hates. They only want to be in charge and never want to be told how to run their shit.

He's a good manager tactically and would do well with freedom and money at Manchester city if he replaces Pepe.

Well, he's the only available Pep student right now - Arteta and Kompany are untouchable.

Enzo did well at the City Academy, was promoted as Pep's assistant, and they performed wonders together before moving on to the Championship. I am not sure how to prove this, but I am positive Pep chose him as his successor. I still cannot believe we lost him.

The Manchester City brass wants to work with someone who understands the club culture, and the only way the owners can hire someone else is if Enzo Mascara becomes unavailable (there have already been offers from Italy).

When they appointed Amorim, I thought he would be a success there but he simply could not come to terms with exactly how big the job was. He was under too much pressure and he could not handle it. Now within the space of days, both Maresca and Amorim have left their respected clubs.

Yeah...  that def sucks for the manager.  Anyway I didn't watch the game but it looks like it was a good result for Chelsea against City and an encouraging sign that your season could he saved and still has a chance to finish in the top 4.

I bet he got sacked for his last comments on being " a manager and not a coach" he was already frustrated with the job cause nothing was actually working. One thing is certain; Manchester United brass were very patient with him despite the bad results from last season but it doesn't make sense to get rid of something without replacing it immediately.

^  I wouldn't call Aston Villa and Man City running like shit rn as it's looking like they're on their way in chasing Arsenal's spot.  If Arsenal gets pressured like they did a couple of times before then we'll prolly see Man City taking the top spot and with Aston Villa fighting against Arsenal for the second spot.

After Nottingham Forest beat West Ham United yesterday, they are now seven points clear of the relegation zone. West Ham United are heading for relegation if they do not start winning games soon.

Aston Villa and Manchester City win their games, they will both be just three points behind Arsenal. Manchester United will play Burnley. Fulham host local rivals Chelsea, I am expecting both teams to win their away games. Now that Amorim and Maresca have departed their respective clubs, it is time for a new era for both.

^  A couple for very important wins from Bournemouth and Fulham.  And it's funny that Brentford is doing a lot better without Thomas Frank.    It seems like the club's somewhat success isn't really about the manager but it's with the club's philosophy.  Afaik club owner Matthew Benham uses a 'moneyball' approach in building his team.

If you guys don't know what 'moneyball' is, there's a book about it written by this guy Michael Lewis.  It's based on the study and research by Bill James.
