I thought I posted my views on Liverpool vs. Manchester City in this thread, lol. I predicted a draw, but City always finds a way to win games you least expect them to. Now they're in a proper title race run-in, and the pressure is on Arsenal; let's see how they finish the month of January, and don't forget, they were leading comfortably at the same time last season before losing the lead to Manchester City in May, so anything could happen, and there's still plenty of time.
Liverpool almost destroyed City in the first 30 minutes of the second half. Then they scored a goal, and after that, completely gave the game to City. Of course, if you want to win, you don't do things like that. I would say City didn't find a way to win, so much as Liverpool found a way to lose.
Aston Villa being 3rd and continue to win their games is not looking good for Liverpool chances of making the top 4 this season. Chelsea and Manchester united have some decent upcoming fixtures unlike Liverpool
Villa did not win, but played to a draw. I think Liverpool should look at Villas' results, because they seem to be the weakest of the top 5 at the end of the season. (If even 5th place is enough for CL)
