For me both .
It is better to have constant short term rewards along with big long time fat reward. Why can't we have both of the best worlds?  .
If you are losing in chunks to have a big win at the end, you will find yourself almost equal because those small loses add up quickly.
Joke aside, it is important to have fewer expectations when gambling.

EDIT: I realized now that it is about staking, not gambling. How foolish of me.
I believe it is long term for me with the option of exit in short term (even if come with some sort of penalty).

I prefer long term staking, because I'm not in a hurry. There are places where I have been staking for 2-3 years. I see it as passive income and I don't disrupt this investment. It keeps accumulating on its own.
Everyone's strategy may be different, my primary preference is to make long-term plans. We can get much better APR rates in long term staking. Up to 60% APR in Betfury is really hard to find elsewhere.

Unless Trump openly supports BetFury, i see no real impact on the token. Maybe few percent up, but not much. BTC and ETH however, might go up more.

I think it depends on how many BFG tokens you have to stake. I locked 4000 tokens for a year and get 0.09$/day which is not a lot but it all adds up. In the beginning you got a lot more dividends so it is always key to join quickly and gather as much tokens as possible. Pricing wise, the token has indeed not done a lot and it might hover around the same price for a while. It can jump as a lot of alt tokens have jumped massively so that is always a possibility.
