USDT, Altcoins, Bitcoin, I have always preferred to gamble using stables, which in this case is usdt, well, I am not actually being sincere with my words, so let me be sincere by saying that I usdt is the only crypto I spend on and when I gamble, if I have any Altcoin or bitcoin I wish to gamble with, I make sure to convert it to usdt before withdrawing and depositing on the casino.

This method have actually helped and still help me to keep accurate record of my spending on gambling based on usd value calculation, this being because usdt is a stable coin which mostly is stable in price, so valueing this against actual usd is very easy compare to bitcoin and altcoins that fluctuate in their price and 0.001 loss today worth $10 may turn out to worth $50 tomorrow.
Who will not want to avoid high fees and for the fact that most stable coins comes with a relatively low fees, it becomes very important to take note of the fact that USDT is the most preferred stable coins to gamble, and because of USDT eas of accessibility, most gambling sites.ake it the default currency of any new created account on their casinos.

Not as much USDT as USD nowadays, or casino specific virtual USD. Sure, you use USDT to convert to USD at 1:1 ratio, but it's still not USDT. I think this is due to regulation issues and all that legal mumbo jumbo.
I've seen other currencies as well, like euro, rupees etc...

To be honest, I would rather gamble with altcoins even if I don't have many or a stablecoin than with my bitcoin. Does anyone else think like that? I feel much more comfortable placing a $50 USDT bet or the equivalent in ether than betting with $50 worth of bitcoin. I am glad that is the case. It means that I value my BTC much more than the other cryptocurrencies and I will think twice before risking to lose them.
I also prefer to bet using altcoins or stablecoins like USDT, in some way. But sometimes I end up betting with BTC balance anyway. Since I have mostly BTC, I deposit coins in BTC rather than any other coin and end up not converting them to USDT or other, I do it later.
i also have mostly bitcoin, and i don't get why people gamble with bitcoin tbh when they can use USDT or altcoins, it's just not a good idea imo.
we all know gambling isn't a game you can win in the long run, so why risk a $$$ worth of BTC today when that same $$$ could be worth $$$$$ in a few years?

like, you are not just donating your bitcoin to the casino, you are also missing out on the potential profit when the price goes up. makes zero sense to me, unless people think they can double their bitcoin or something but we all know that's not how things go.

People knows that Bitcoin is good for investment and not for gambling that's maybe the reason why people always prefer other altcoins or just used USDT because they know that this is more convenient crypto to use for this matter.

I guess people using Bitcoin is not into investment or just don't care about if they are going to earn. Since if they have good concerns and show that Bitcoin has potential to give them good profits in future for sure that they would never think about using it for gambling and will just find other alternative coins out them. Don't want to regret that I lose my Bitcoin that's why same with other people I choose USDT to gamble.

I also prefer to use USD in my bets, in some cases I use Litecoin, but I don't use bitcoin, even when the rates are low, I still don't use bitcoin in my bets. I prefer to keep a certain difference between the funds allocated for my bets and the funds allocated for trading and hodl. Also because I don't see gambling as something that would give me profit in the long term, playing with bitcoin, I would be running the risk of losing bitcoin
I think most of us understands that betting with Bitcoin, there's a huge gap of it between the rest of the altcoins. It seems that the majority bet with USD, stable coins and some other altcoins but we'll not use Bitcoin for betting especially the ones that are from our long term holding. The higher the price of Bitcoin, the wanting we want to hold of it longer. But the time will come that it will be easier for us to gamble with Bitcoin when the price becomes higher and we can play with some satoshis on it as long as the amount is tolerable and won't jeopardize the risk of losing our BTC holdings.

My feelings towards gambling with bitcoin are not much different. Considering it a long-term holding makes it very difficult to risk such a valuable asset. Most people seem to prefer stablecoins for gambling and I think that’s the case because Bitcoin feels too precious to be aday-to-day currency much less a casual spender’s currency. With every increase in its price, the urge to hold onto it and treat it as a store of value only gets stronger.

I personally consider gambling with Bitcoin something that is done for fun and not profit. There should be definite boundaries such as using only amounts that will not affect long-term investment goals if lost. Personally, I still recommend holding Bitcoin instead of risking it.

When withdrawing from BetFury to your wallet, do you usually withdraw BTC?
Today I cashed out via LTC, I converted all my other coin balances (including USDT and BTC) to LTC first. Pretty sure I saved money this way, since LTC withdrawal fees are way cheaper than Bitcoin's.

Note: when withdrawing via LTC, I entered a Litecoin Segwit p2wpkh address, but I saw that BetFury does not support it, but my LTC wallet (stack wallet) also has an LTC Legacy address. So the withdrawal was successful and fast.

What currencies do you use to bet in the casino? USDT, BTC, BFG?
To be honest, I would rather gamble with altcoins even if I don't have many or a stablecoin than with my bitcoin. Does anyone else think like that? I feel much more comfortable placing a $50 USDT bet or the equivalent in ether than betting with $50 worth of bitcoin. I am glad that is the case. It means that I value my BTC much more than the other cryptocurrencies and I will think twice before risking to lose them.

I also think the same since I can't afford to spend my Bitcoin on any situations or activities since for me Bitcoin is good to hold for long term.

That's why if I gamble I usually use other alts or just use the stable coin so that I will not regret my decision to spend my Bitcoins if everything falls apart and we became so unlucky if we lose our balances.

I'm usually comfortable betting USD since with this we don't need to worry anything especially that there's less chance that the value of this coin will drop.

Let's say you put in 3 ltc for betting.

You get I hot and you go to 10 ltc.

This would make me pull 5 of the ltc,out and swap them into btc. Do you ever do this when you win ltc?

Who would pay to have dinner with the beloved orange man?

The trump memecoin project has revealed that the top 220 holders will be invited to an exclusive gala dinner with President Donald Trump, while the top 25 holders will get a private tour of the White House.

Trumpcoin has seen a surge in bullish momentum following the announcement.

It's been a long time since I've seen the Trumpcoin chart, as well as the other memecoins, would you bet on the this memecoin out of pure speculation? Do you think it still has a future as a memecoin?

You can find more details on portals like cointelegraph: https://cointelegraph.com/news/donald-trump-memecoin-holders-dinner

Are you sure you saved money? When you convert other coins to LTC using the swap option you will pay some conversion fee every single time. Depending on the amounts you swap this fee can add up as well and might in the end cost a bit more compared to the withdrawal fee.

I have also questioned myself if he had saved money. Convert on BetFury directly does not offer best rates. And what about BTC transaction on BNB chain? It cost only 0.00000112 BTC. I havent tried that, but it also look super cheap. It might be that with BTC on BNB network it will be inconvenient to work with funds later, but that looks like more cheaper way to cashout BTC. Better next time withdraw USDT on Polygon, as this is always the cheapest way Cheesy

Are you guys participating in the Gaming Eggventure? The +$730.000 prize pool looks very attractive indeed.
I took part in the soccer prediction events the first couple of days but it didn't go as well as I thought. Some of my predictions were wrong and I was also late to submit some of my picks on time. Eventually, I gave up and stopped playing this week.

What about you? Which battle is your favorite one?

I also prefer to use USD in my bets, in some cases I use Litecoin, but I don't use bitcoin, even when the rates are low, I still don't use bitcoin in my bets. I prefer to keep a certain difference between the funds allocated for my bets and the funds allocated for trading and hodl. Also because I don't see gambling as something that would give me profit in the long term, playing with bitcoin, I would be running the risk of losing bitcoin
In my opinion, I think that gambling with any cryptocurrency that allows you to stay within a budget is okay. Sometimes if you choose to accept or gamble with Bitcoin, particularly based on the fluctuations in its value, it may exceed the specific amounts you wish to gamble with because the Bitcoin at that time increased in value. It may not be something serious for someone, but if you think that's a problem for you, then you should use a cryptocurrency that you know you're okay with, it still counts.

Some time ago, I forgot to deposit in USDT and I made a deposit in Litecoin to play on Stake, it was $15 in Litecoin, I bet on some games and I managed to win, I ended up with $30 in Litecoin, at that time the price of Litecoin was $135, then the price of Litecoin started to fall a lot, from $30 in Litecoin, it was $23

When I got a bet right and had $25 in Litecoin, the price of Litecoin would fall to $105 and my bankroll would fall to $17  Grin I really regret depositing in Litecoin, that's why I'm being very careful not to make the same mistake, now I only bet with USDC or USDT. Since yesterday I received my monthly bonus, I chose ETH and made a bet, if I get it right I'll withdraw it because I need ETH

In these times, it is not practical for us to spend or sell bitcoin especially if you are long-term holders of bitcoin, unless if you are already profitable since 2018 when you started saving btc,
it is okay for you to sell now because you are already profitable.

But if you are going to gamble, it is not really advisable to use btc as a bet, instead other altcoins or crypto are good to bet on, at least practically speaking, like me,
there are times when when I gamble, I use usdt and dogecoin as my bet.

Well somehow that scenario is pretty fine since you already get lots of profits from your holdings. But if you are still on the process of accumulation and didn't hit your target years I guess its really a bad choice to spend your Bitcoin since temptation is there and provably we might use our holdings if we are frustrated and want to chase our losses.

That's why its good that there is an alternative coins to choose since we are free to use those ideal coins to bet.

😎 If you could rename Bitcoin, what would you call it?

Won't think about changing it, since the name itself is already iconic and there's no need to change its name even if we have chance to rename this coin.

People knows that Bitcoin is good for investment and not for gambling that's maybe the reason why people always prefer other altcoins or just used USDT because they know that this is more convenient crypto to use for this matter.

The BTC network now has such a low transaction fee that it would be more profitable to use BTC for deposits or withdrawals on gambling platforms than USDT. I think one of the reasons why gamblers still prefer alts more often is that gambling platforms and exchanges often set unreasonably high fees just for BTC transactions.

Completely agreed with your statement about this because few days back I sent some Satoshi's I was really surprised to watch speed and fees because this was not supposed to be had like this, but now things are getting much better and speedy.
But sadly many companies are having their own limits which are hurting users, and they are going with altcoins specially many gambling sites are taking higher fees and their withdrawal limit is also high which sometime have troubling time for many members, but they are not caring about this.

Interesting question, but I am sure mostly peoples will feel this name Bitcoin is unique and have nothing else because no one feeling about this mostly are in love to its features and use which is giving good benefits.

Well, you may actually be right, but for me personally, I do not prefer to use usdt for gambling because of the possible network fees casinos set for those who are withdrawing bitcoin, and to even say that bitcoin transaction fees have become do low that its better to use bitcoin over usdt, I would say that this completely depends on the exchange and network you are withdrawing usdt from or depositing usdt to..

For example, withdrawing usdt from Binance exchange to any wallet on Binance smart chain is absolutely free of charge, while also withdrawing usdt from Stake casino to any wallet on Binance smart chain network only cost $0.1 in withdrawal fees, this is way more cheaper than transacting in bitcoin, and you even get faster network confirmation too compared to bitcoin.

A lesson learned, and thanks for sharing, because some gamblers may never understand why people only choose gambling with USDT and not other cryptocurrencies. If you must gamble with other cryptocurrencies, prepare your mind to be affected by the value fluctuations so you don't make it into a case with the casino.

Imagine winning $50 and then coming back to see $39 because of a value drop in crypto used; you may think the casino has deducted or tampered with the amount you won.

It did pumped up which came from $9 to $15 on which its a significant jump. Its just expected that whenever there are some sentiments that been announced specially having a dinner with Trump
and having the chance to get a tour into the White house? Definitely that a good news for making the price to pump up. I wont wonder if Trump did made out some bags on $7 and now the price did pump
made out some corrections and now its consolidating. I dont believe on meme coins but to those who do likes to go with the flow or could ride with the waves then they can actually be
able to utilize these news or sentiments at their advantage but holding for long term? Nah.. ill pass
