We are talking about bets, not about the votes. You might vote for Democrats but that doesn't mean they will certainly win. Regarding conspiracy theories and indications of fraud in elections, I think that will always happen. The reason is that those who cheat are people who want their own profit, they don't care about the future of other people or even the country because their target is personal gain.
I myself have seen a lot of fraud in "politics", although it cannot really be proven because it is very difficult, especialy if you don't have enough evidence to commit the fraud.
The "elites" will definitely move to win one of the candidates, because they have an interest in it, for example when that candidate wins it will be easier for them to have access to certain matters.
