What's wrong with Leicester City, Leeds and Ipswich in this week's matches? Leicester City lost to Plymouth Argyle while Leeds lost to Blackburn in their home games. Only Ipswich is left who is currently behind Middlesbrough, what's surprising is why the performance of these three teams is so bad when the race for direct promotion is underway.

Three teams still has chance get direct promotion to premier league next season until last game week and who will secure two direct promotion ticket by finish on 1st and 2nd place?

Looking at the current EFL standings, IMO the 2 direct tickets for promotion to the PL will be owned by Ipswich and Leicester City, Ipswich as the current leader of the standings and Leicester who still have a 1 match deficit. All the dynamics can still happen and Leeds also still has a big chance to get that ticket, so what do you think about the 2 direct promotional tickets?

Leeds just lost me a multi 25 ticket bet and I was waiting only them,I had so much faith in a win from them today that I didn't go for an double chance for the opponent team yet when surprises happen in Premier League I am not at all surprised in the Championship where the schedule is tighter and they play many more games than the Premier League teams.I didn't defend the bet as I had only placed the minimum 175 IDR for 160.000 IDR so the max win was just over 10 dollars and that is why as in every other option I would have defended the game.Leicester for me is the team that has done better so far in the league,then Ipswich and then Leeds,I am sure that most likely all of them will be in the Premier League next season based on their performance so far.

Oh man, swogerino, stop wasting money on "easy" Championship bets haha. I don't want to say it, but was right about Ipswich and Leeds not being able to take advantage of Leicester's double slip ups. Ipswich is sitting pretty on top, yes, but they'll be asking themselves how they only took 2 points in this melee. It's as if everyone's suddenly shy about reaching 100 points. As it stands, just the Foxes have a chance to get 100 -- and just 2 games ago, three teams had a chance.

I have also started to follow the Championship on the final weeks as the title competition got really fired up.    I couldn't believe my eyes how Leicester lost both of their last 2 matches... I thought they would win at least one of them even if they lose points in the other. Plymouth and Millwall were having tough days in fact.

Championship teams are playing their matches in a really busy schedule of course because of having 8 more matches than the PL. Leicester couldn't show the same effort in these 2 matches which must be an indicator of fatigue too.

I want to see Leicester back in the PL so I hope they make it.    Jamie Vardy is 37 but he is still top scorer of the team. I wonder when he will decide to retire.

I have respect for Blackburn team and they currently have the best goal scorer in league Szmodics, so I dont like betting against them.

I have to look full schedule for all Championship teams but I know they play against Preston in two days, this is another big chance for them to win 3 points.
Odds are very low and I would be careful betting on home win, but I think we should see goals in this match.

One match is played today in Championship and this is perfect time for Southampton to win against Preston and come only three points below Leeds.
Southampton has much better h2h record against Preston, and they have one of the best attacks in league with 81 scored goals.
Preston has done surprisingly well in this season and they are not far behind from play-off zone.

Leicester city performance this days was very poor and if they don't take time they would not be able to qualify to England premier league next season, I could remember the beginning of this season Leicester city really played well and they where topping the league with almost 10 points different from others clubs, even myself I almost concluded that Leicester city is going to take the league title because looking at their performance that period it was very nice but just of resent they started losing form and as is stance now if they did not take time they would not be able to qualify.

Southampton still has 4 matches and is 5 points different from Ipswich as the top of the standings, with the remaining matches remaining, is it possible for Southampton to achieve much better results in improving the standings ranking.
For the top three team such as Ipswich, Leicester and Leeds, they each have difference of 1 point and this is tight competition for the top of the standings and looking at what is happening now, it seems like Leicester has much bigger advantage than the others.
Leicester still have one game in hand and that will be the match against Southampton so if Leicester manages to win then Southampton will never be able to achieve much better results in the future.

Competition to get promotion tickets to the Premier League is really tight, but I sure that Leicester will be the team that will qualify with guarantee when they manage to finish the competition with an overall win.

More or less the same story for me. I didn't actually predict too badly. I saw the right teams progressing, but putting it all on ML accas was what led to ruin.

The itch to go big on Saints is hard to scratch -- you wonder if this is a hot run of form or the "light" before extinguishing. Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds, can't all keep going on to drop points, can they?

Championship Round 44 is starting tomorrow and Leicester is playing the first game against West Brom at home.
They are in bad form and they lost many points in previous rounds, winning only two of last six matches.
West Brom is fighting to stay in play-off zone and they lost only once from last 11 matches.
Leicester is favorite and they have better h2h record but I dont understand such low odds on them to win.
I am expecting both teams to score, and it wont be easy for Leicester to win.

Cardiff vs Southampton
This is the best chance for Saints to come one step closer towards the top  and I cant see anything else than away win.
Odds are very low on that but I think there is a value for them winning the first half or asian handicap.
Last time this two teams played Southampton won, and Cardiff is missing some important players tomorrow.

I am shocked to see how Southampton lost the match against Cardiff in last moments of stoppage time, after they won first half like I predicted.
They missed a great chance to climb up the table but they remain in 4th position and they play against Leicester in few days.

Blackburn is playing against Sheffield tomorrow and I didnt expect to see them so near relegation zone.
They have better attackers and they need to prove that and win, but they didnt won at home in last five rounds.
I think home team wins here and Szmodics scores a goal.

^ Well, that went to hell quite decisively. Was very close to putting money on Saints but it wouldn't have mattered as I'd have paired it with an equally unimpressive Chelsea.

A bit of a pity, really, as even a draw would have painted a pretty table at the top, but as it stands, Leicester is back in the driving seat. One win away from confirming promotion, think they'll just about cross over the line for 100 points.

Southampton also now is virtually confirmed for the playoffs -- they would need Ipswich and Leeds to lose all remaining games by huge margins, while winning theirs with equally huge margins. Best to just rest their players and prep for the playoffs. Not sure their players survive this crushing defeat mentally unscathed...

This was one of the best performance from Leicester this season as they scored 5 goals against Southampton and won three important points for title race.
Issahaku was very inspired and he scored three goals in this match, but Vardy also played good, he scored and assisted for last goal.
I expected to see goals today, but I didnt expect to see such dominance by home team.

Coventry vs Hull
This match is played tomorrow and it is not going to be easy for Coventry to get motivated after they lost from Man United, they will also be much more tired than Hull.
Both teams are hoping to catch up and take last place in play-off positions, but they need for Norwich to lose some points in next matches.
Hull is in better form and they didnt lose in last five away matches against Coventry City.
I dont think they will lose this match and odds are not bad at all on them, but I always prefer a safer bet.

The match was very bad for Southampton. There was no one attempted shot or goal by Southampton. This has not spoken good for Southampton for receiving 5 goals at a time. I was really expecting them to do well in the 2nd half of the match since they received one goal in the first half and it was like they played the worst game in the second half. And if you look the analysis of the game, Southampton controlled the Ball more than their opponent and I don't know why they received goals of 5.

There are things that could make them to receive such number of goals. And the none is the defend. If the defend is weak then you received enough goals and the keep. If the keep is not good then you suffer set back. And Also Chelsea faced these the same two things in their match.
