With so many games all over Europe already in my tickets, I thought I didn't want to add more on there exclusively, instead better to pick a few Championship maybes, right?

So HT live bet on Boro again (I'm refusing to believe their recent good results are a fluke), at over 2/1 I felt was great value given that Sunderland got a man sent off, and they proved me right scoring two soon after restart. Balanced that out with a boring Ipswich win at rather poor value (15/10), so I hope it all works out.

Leicester and Ipswich want daylight between them and playoff spots, so I think a win is "safe". Good luck!

This has been on of the most difficult league to predict as the patterns here isn't regular enough to give a good determining edge, so called big teams loose to small team and in some cases draw and when they manage to win the margin is often small, a case where you predict a three goals for big team against a small team and sadly the match ends with just two or even less goals.

For the mean time I have avoided adding teams in the championship to my bet slips till the championship get to it's mid point where some teams strength could be well determined,this is just my take tho, but for those betting on the championship Good luck.

Recently? Where've you been the entire history of Championship haha. Look at the odds markets for any given round and you'll find it's rare to see odds bigger than 5/1 on any team, any game week. Been like that for years (but also why I like the 5/1 teams). Compare that to the Prem where you regularly see 15/1 odds on decent teams (Sheffield is 21/1 next vs Arsenal).

Sorry, the statement about teams crashing out of major leagues was an oversight and a mistake from my end.

As to the point where I said recently, I wasn't referring to the entire history of the championship as I jus started following up the championship recently and still trying to get conversant with the championship, that has been my personal experience trying to predict the championship, that was what I meant while stating that.

I saw the scoreline for Saints, didn't read the match report. Must be a real pain for them -- I honestly expected them to have a far easier time than Leicester but they seem to be stuck in some kind of funk along with Leeds. Ipswich won't hold the return-to-mean barrier, so I wouln't worry about them, but the boys in white and red are going to have to knucle down to take proper advantage of like when Leeds slip.

Eyes set on the game between Southampton and Birmingham City. Wazza ( Wayne Rooney ) hasn't been a good manager over the clubs he's been. Even with appointments of former teammate and and england international team mate ( O Shea and Chelsea ex player Ashley Cole ) Birmingham City has been the same defensively. That would take time though.

But I would love him to focus on his managing career and stop getting involved in cases that has nothing to do with his growth and management.
Two games from this game, Birmingham City occupied ⁶th Position on the table, no with double lose, they've found themselves down to ¹² Position on the Championship standing!

Southampton though have shown eagerness to return to the Premier League. Last season I predicted they would be possibly relegated of they don't improve and now here they be! I'd love them back, but that's on em!

Unlike Leicester who were also relegated from the English Premier League last season, Leicester have been poor with their performances in the EFL championship this season as they're already trailing league leaders Leicester by 15 points after just 13 league matches. Leicester has been the best of not just the three clubs that was relegated last season but all the club's in the second division of English club football. With Leicester's current form, I think they're gonna surely play in the English Premier League next season

Saddest thing when I see top news from Saints on Superbru it's still all about JWP. As I said earlier, over-reliance on a few always bites back eventually and Leicester continue to prove -- on some level at least -- that they've always been a decent unit. I think their return to the summit is a near-given too, but with Vardy surely bowing out and fewer stars left to carry the team, this season needs prudent future planning. They did it before dilly ding, so it's not like there's no template to follow.

A lot can change in Championship long season with two teams going directly in Premier League, but play-offs are always interesting for one last EPL place.
Southampton has chance for play-off spots, and they dont have such a bad team but they made a lot of changes from last season, it takes time for all pieces to fit together.
I think they need to fix holes in defense, they conceded more goals from almost all other clubs in Championship, only QPR and Norwich have seen 24 goals in their nets!

Leeds and Southampton each have an advantage over each of their opponents in this match and it is quite surprising that Southampton got two goals in the first half without goal back from Birmingham while Leeds had four goal advantage in the first half without reply from Huddersfield.

From these two matches it is clear that Leeds will find it difficult to beat or end in a draw for Huddersfield because they have to chase four goals or more so it is clear that Leeds will win it.
In fact Southampton still has the opportunity to be chased by Birmingham and could end in a draw or even lose.

The both of em cam through. The foxes are focused, it strikes me that they would be back in the Premier League next season only if they keep up this consistent performance. Thunderbolt from Harry Winks secured them the win to maintain them position at the top of the Championships Standing.

Not that I want to mock Wayne Rooney, but has been a terrible manager, is he any different from Frank Lampard?
They have a terrible defense too, first two goals Southampton scored are due to to defense errors. It seems like they're sleeping on the pitch.

Most favorites won their matches in Round 14, and this was not that great start for Wayne Rooney in Birmingham.
He was not happy about VAR and referees after losing the match against Southampton, but this was third defeat in a row for Birmingham City.
We are expecting some big matches in next rounds and Birmingham will have hard test against Ipswich, one of the top teams this season.

@karabiber Leicester definitely deserves to be back in the premier league and it was really shocking to see them being relegated but now I’m excited too because they’re playing very well and hopefully they’ll return next season. Also one should not underestimate Leeds as they’re a tricky team and thus I hope Leicester will plan well and not be overconfident when they face them otherwise they’ll risk dropping valuable points.

Leicester City having complete package at this level with their defense and their attack having impressive combination and not allowing any team to create problems for them currently they are having 5 points difference from the Ipswich which is having one game in hand and these both are comprehensively staying at the top with good difference of points from third spotted Leeds United these things clearly indicating we will have backed them in Premier League in 2024.

Currently, Iheanacho and Dewsbury-Hall both are having good touch and giving their best with Leicester City legend Vardy is also on his way for having his best for them and bring them back into top level with bang they are having 9 matches winning streak after losing against Hull City on 2nd September 2023.

EFL Championship just go little more interesting after Leicester lost from Leeds at home.
Leeds played smarter and now they are on solid third place in the table.

My main bet for this weekend is Ipswich to win against Birmingham.
I know Rooney is eager to make his first positive result, but Ipswich is on fire and they want to get back with a win after they lost from Fulham in EFL cup few days ago.
I think that Middlesbrough ands Southampton will also win their matches, but I am not totally excluding draw in their matches, maybe some asian handicap would be a good idea.
