finally the games are back, my prediction for tomorrow's game:

Sheffield Wednesday - Southampton

this is the opening game of the season and we will probably be facing the main candidate to win the league this season and return to play in the premier league next season, I'm talking about Southampton. but the problem as always is that when a team is relegated from the first division to the second division, it doesn't just lose money, reputation, but it also loses players and coach because the players don't want to play in the second division, it doesn't bring them much benefit , the players have a family and want to have a good future playing in a big team or in a team that is playing in the first division.

  for example at Southampton he lost the following players: Mohammed Salisu and Dujje Caleta-Car (defenders); Ibrahima Diallo and wingers Mohamed Elyounoussi (midfielders); Theo Walcott and Mislav Orsic and there are several other players who are in doubt whether they will stay in the team or not, I'm talking about players like Armel Bella-Kotchap, Lyanco and Romeo Lavia. so I see Southampton coming into this game much weaker than they were in the premier league, the question will be if that will be enough to win this game and if they could be seen as candidates to win the league

on the other side we have Sheffield Wednesday who were promoted and made some signings, they brought players like: Di'Shon Bernard, Bambo Diaby, Pol Valentin, Juan Delgado and Ashley Fletcher. my prediction is that despite Southampton having a shortage of players and not being the same team that played in the premier league, they still have enough power to come out of this game with a victory, if I were to bet on this game I would choose Draw No Bet Southampton with odds of @1.65 seems safer to me

Can't believe I almost forgot about this one, with the game starting in a few hours! Feels weird not going to be able to watch (almost midnight in my temporary timezone and papa already feels a little sleepy heh heh.

Saints all the way, and not just because of past history -- they gave us good memories (and good players, haha).

I just check this all and now feeling good because after long wait again we are back and soccer mania is also going to start from England which is surely amazing for the all soccer fans now after few hours we are going to have first match between two competitive sides which will fight hard but it's first match and Sheffield Wednesday is playing at home even Saints are good team, but they have to face defeat in this match and then surely they will fight back for the rest of season because I have feeling about them surely they are going to join Premier League in 2024 but for this match I am going to support home side and most chances we will have winning score 2 - 1 in favor of them good luck to all those are going to do something in this match.

Southampton is starting tomorrow against Sheffield, should be an interesting season

Second half started but Southampton is holding good for now and they scored first goal in EFL Championship new season.
They totally dominated against Sheffield, they had more shots on goal, more attacks, more ball possessions but they received goal in second half.
I expect last 30 minutes to be very interesting and Southampton to score another goal, so live betting might be a good idea:

I was very close with my OP example in that topic, with exact minute of first goal scored and I had 7 total cards 
Great win for Southampton and start of new season but they could have done it much earlier, no need to wait for 87' minute but I hope someone took my suggestion for live betting.

Today matches of first round are finished with favorites Norwich, Blackburn and Watford all winning their matches at home.
I expected much different outcome between Watford and QPR, but it seems that home team is eager to return in Premier League next season.

Three more matches left for tomorrow and all of them are very interesting.
My bet is on Leicester and Leeds to win their matches but it is not going to be easy job for them.

Leeds is another team relegated from Premier League and I think they have not lost a lot of players,the odds of them are very low at 1.38 which is a clear indicator that they are also favorites to get promoted again in the Premier League next season,we have to see the first weeks before we see who are the clear favorites to get promoted.

Leicester is one of the favorites to win Championship this season, with Southampton, Watford and few other teams, so it is no surprise to me they managed to win today match against Coventry.
Championship teams are no joke and Leeds found out that today against Cardiff, after losing for almost 90 minutes they somehow managed to nick one goal in extra time and get a point
 from draw.
This season is going be very interesting to follow but we should wait few more rounds to see how teams are prepared for this season.

Matches have started in the Championship. Leicester, Watford and Norwich were the favorites to win in the first week. Southampton also won away from home and all the favorite teams won completely in the first week. Acun Ilııcalı's team Hull City started the match fast against Norwich. In the 17th minute, Hull City took the lead with Delap but conceded a goal late in the first half to end the first half in a draw. It was Norwich who dominated the match more and we can say that they deserved it.

EFL Championship Round 2 is starting this weekend with most matches being played in Saturday.
There are some interesting matches for me, especially Southampton vs Norwich, but some teams first need to play EFL Carabao Cup matches today.
Maybe this could affect how they perform in Saturday matches because they will only have two days to rest, so keep that in mind before placing any bets.
Leeds plays against Shrewsbury, Ipswich against Bristol Rovers, Leicester against Burton, and some teams played yesterday.

Odds are not bad on favorites but I think they could play their matches with mixed squad.

New EFL Championship round is scheduled for tomorrow and I noticed several interesting matches and I cant believe how good odds are
Since this is one for the first rounds it is better to keep bet with lower stakes until we see form for all teams.

Southampton - Norwich
I know this is risky but I just have to take home win here.
Home advantage and first match match will make Southampton have big boost from their supporters.
This two teams know each other very well from Premier League and Southampton have better H2H record.
I think we are going to see both teams scoring but I expect to see 2:1 final result.

Plymoth just came in Championship and they started very good with win in first round, but Watford is different class from Huddersfield.
I expect to see lot of goals in this match and Watford to win as better team.

Huddersfield - Leicester
Huddersfield did not start this season in a good way and they will have a lot of problems against strong Leicester team.
I cant see any other outcome here other than away win, and Leicester needs points to come back in Premier League.
Odds are very good for away win but I am thinking about -1 handicap for even better odds.

I expect to see match with lot of goals and both team scoring, but Blackburn is favorite to win.

Crazy results today maybe because season just started, but I said before it is better to place smaller bets in first few weeks.
Eight goals in Southampton vs Norwich, and Saints managed to score last goal in final moments of extra time for final score 4:4  
Maybe I expected to see goals in this match, but I didnt expect to see eight  
Only Leicester partially did what I expected, and I am really disappointed with Watford performance against Plymouth.

Table is updated and Ipswich Town is surprisingly taken the first place with perfect record, followed by Leicester that scored one goal less.
Middlesbrough, Huddersfield, Sheffield and Sunderland are dead last with zero points and Middlesbrough didnt even score a goal in this season.

Leeds - West Brom
Championship round 3 is starting today with big match between Leeds and West Brom.
Leeds still dont have a win in this season after losing last round against Birmingham, and had draw in first round against Cardiff.
West Brom has 3 points so far and they all came from last week win against Swansea, so this match is very important for both clubs.
Bookmakers made Leeds a favorite because of home advantage, but I think we can see a draw or surprise away win today.
Leeds have good H2H record against West Brom, but they dont perform great as favorites and they have few important players questionable for today.

My main bet for today is Leicester to win against Cardiff.
There is big difference is class and quality, but it is not going to be easy job for Leicester to beat Cardiff.
Odds are not bad for home win and I think there is a good chance for Leicester to win in first half.

I dont understand why bookmakers made Stoke a favorite here, in my book Watford has better chances to win in this match.
Both teams are missing few players but I think Watford has much better attack, and they have better H2H record against Stoke.

For other games I think Leicester needs to win this game after not having that good of a start by drawing in the first game,now is their chance to start their steam toward the qualification for the Premier League again.

Thought they might be hanging their heads a little after losing JWP but they've dug in that little bit more to aid their return home. I think he wont leave this season, but next year they will have to hire few more players if they want to stay on top and get back in Premier League.

Home team is favorite to win and I think they can do, H2H history is on their side and they are in better form right now.

New Round 4 of EFL Championship is starting tomorrow with one match between Hull and Bristol City.
Bristol have a good H2H record against Hull but for this match they are going to miss few players, and Hull played very good this season against strong teams.
Connolly and Tufan are in good form and they are main attack force for Hull so I expect them to score again.
Anything can happen in this match but I expect both teams to score.
