Yes, hackers do try that in every site, and Adkins is no exception. As maybe, they are seeing good activity in this site, so they tried this type of cyber-attack - DDoS attack to adkins in hope maybe of demanding a ransom if the adkins team is not successful in restoring their site. Now, the team will be more attentive with the security they have to prevent future attacks. It is good that they resolve this fast from their end.

The source of the funds is only not so reliable, but maybe escrow people do not care about that. They had no other choice to pay? How can you actually solve Ddos attacks?

Yeah, you are right, I have started to be able to access websites without using a VPN since yesterday, but like DDos attact it still keeps happening but it's just a matter of time until they securing everything.
