Can our gridseeds hosted with you be rented by a service like Betarigs?

Just a small update!

We are in the process of building a new data center. The new data center will have 5 times the power of our old one!

A stay tuned!

Hope it can be online in a week for the hosted option.

Will provide feedback next week.

Yes, I rent my hosted Gridseed Blades on Betarigs just fine. The only downfall is the lack of visibility/information you get with hosted units.

According to CleverMining my second order has been up since 7am today, the date provided for activation, although the mining UI has yet to reset and show their official stats. These guys have certainly kept it together under pressure and aren't pulling a perpetual product testing scheme like some other companies. Cheesy

Thank you very much for the info.

I think soon GWA Miners will provide a portal to manage the hosted gridseeds.

I actually registered to bitch them out if they didn't come through and were deleting the negative comments complaining about order #1234 to make them seem more legitimate. Thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case and people were just a bit inpatient after hearing about one day activation in their reviews. Since activation days are now listed when you purchase, things are more clear and there are less complaints of that nature.

Edit: JK, hash rate is back down to yesterday's paltry sum. I'm assuming they're working on getting additional orders to show up in a user's UI properly or something of the sort. 10bux says it will be back up today though.

I hope waiting will be rewarded? Would be great if the purchases now for the 02.05 could be rewarded too.

Wow that's too bad you changed the dates on hosting packages so they no longer get double rewards  Undecided. Was about to buy and then noticed these do not go online until the day after .. Unfortunate.

Unless you're still going to offer that to those packages?

We changed it because we do not have the physical amount of power to offer hosting at this time. We had to add 800 amps of power to our data center. That does not happen quickly Smiley

Please do not post your referral links in this thread. Think about what would happen if every customer would post their referral link here.
We will delete your post and after multiple warnings will ban your referral account.

Many people have been asking about retroactive rewards points (for previous orders). We are not retroactively honoring purchases with the loyalty program. We are doing this with the Double Your Hash promotion though so please keep this in mind when registering your total hashing power purchased from us.

Thank you for being a valued GAW customer. Please enjoy your benefits responsibly!

The GAW Team

P.S.  If you have any questions or comments for these programs, please post it in this thread:

For Club Members, you can mine at any pool you want.

We will be using clever miner as a benchmark. So if the pool your mining has higher payouts, let us know so we can match it.

Just a reminder that you needed to have registered your miners on the 15th! And the payout will be based on LTC Smiley

so which is it for the double hashrate promo

clevermining or ltc or match any pool?

sorry for quoting myself but i cant find this answered anywhere

which is it going to be?

Hi, clear up any confusion you may be having - over the weekend we completely removed our hosting options because we were dealing with many internal issues we were having with our hosted miners and were fixing and upgrading everything. Then, we decided to re-enable the hosted options but only allow activation at a later date to give ourselves ample time to fix all the issues and be prepared for a large increase in our hosted services for our customers.

You may still purchase miners to be shipped to your home which we will gladly double your hashing power for. We apologize for the minor inconvenience and can assure you that the decisions we make are based on our ability to continue serving our customers with the utmost service and to meet your expectations of our brand.

This is why we run promotions like Double Your Hash and also release programs like the GAW Loyalty Rewards and Refer-a-Friend.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The GAW Team

I think its nice they are first preparing the ground instead of selling without good support and quality after.

I prefer to lose the Double promotion to have a 1 year of "crap" hosting after purchasing it.

have you tried http://hash.gawminers.com ?

Restart option is finally back there!  Now if I can only down clock miners (or maybe units with 20% HW errors could be replaced?)

I am thinking about buying another Blade..   Are there any upcoming sales our Founders Sales I should wait for?     I would wait if something speciel was coming soon..

  Thanks!

Also one of the Founders benefits says "A special login which will give you special, low prices on our products"

Would this apply to my blade purchase and if yes how do I apply it?

One thing to consider here is that the blades won't be hosted t'll May (if you considering hosting option), so you might want to wait 'n see if by then there's any specials.. Now on the other hand if you bought it now would it go toward the promotion of "double rewards" that might help ease the price somewhat.

And I am a founding Club memeber..  GAW posted back 2 or 3 pages of what sounded like that Club members wanting it hosted would not have to wait until May 02.. So yes I need some clarification on this too..     Said something like "Club memebers would be up and hosted this week"

GAW could you confirm if I would have to wait until May 02 or not?

  Thanks!

With the "Founders Club" you should be covered under the "Price Protection" bullet point.  Maybe GAW can shed some additional information as to what is covered for Buy-Back and Price Protection.

Mining LTC it's $14 /day per blade you'd earn, even if the price drops $200 in 2 weeks, it's break even.  If it drops $300 next week then hopefully GAW's Price Protection will come through for Founders Club members.  To say they offer all these benefits is one thing, but to actually follow-though would be another.
