Some people suggest that ETH 2.0 will curb the issue of high gas fees, but no one knows precisely, since it wasn't categorically stated by Ethereum founders. Sometimes the high gas fee for ETH is so annoying, and this result to higher fees even when withdrawing ERC20 tokens from exchange. This is the more reason why I usually choose TRC20 token standard when withdrawing USDT, since it has lower fees and even faster transactions. I hope to see a time when Ethereum will be more scalable, with negligible fees.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Today is a good day for me! Because after a hundred days my transaction finally went through Cheesy I put gwei 10.
I'm so glad that the network is finally booted but i think it won't be long.

When I wrote this comment, the Ehtereum gas fee only 25gwei, and this is so cheap if compare to your statement in the thread, so I think you just need to wait until the gas fee becomes normal.

We all hope that Ethereum 2.0 will bring us a solution for this because maybe we need to make an important transaction and we want not to wait, and when the gas fee is high no one we can do
For example, I want to sell a token because at the moment it has a high price. If you say that you have to wait until the gas price goes down, then I will miss the moment.

ATM network has calmed down. It seems that 600 gwei gas fees were caused by panic selling once the correction began.
Now the gas prices are quite reasonable

▫️ Fastest: 22 gwei (0.4 minutes) 👉 $0.25
▫️ Fast:  17.6 gwei (0.5 minutes) 👉 $0.20
▫️ Average: 12.9 gwei (1 minutes) 👉 $0.15
▫️ Safe Low: 12.9 gwei (1 minutes) 👉 $0.15

Now am totally exhausted on these costly exchanges on Ethereum blockhain and everybody is as of now burnt out on holding up while Enthe isuue will be taken care of and on the off chance that this issue won't be unraveled soon, at that point I think much more individuals will utilize different blockchains for different exchanges, so I expectation Ethereum 2.0 will have the option to take care of this difficult which has been continuing for a year or perhaps more. And itand gas are not the same for all users, some are still lucky to have low gas fee

Fees on the Ethereum network are very unstable, usually go up and usually go down,
and now Gas Fees on Ethereum are only 13 Gwei, of course this is cheap,
fees on Ethereum were at 100 Gwei and this infuriated users of the Ethereum network,
if this continued then Ethereum users and traders alike can avoid it.

As Vitalik Buterin said they are planning to end high transaction fees this coming December 1 with the ETH 2.0 launch. Hoping it will be successful because high transaction fees is a pain to small traders like me.

high ethereum gas fees are very beneficial for miners but not for traders. because a trader needs very high transfer traffic to send or withdraw tokens. hopefully it can be cheaper and more stable in the future

ETH traders suffer a lot due to high gas fees in case of exchange the amount of fee has to be paid more but not after any impact on their actual teams with the increase in the price of etherium the amount of excavation fee will come down a lot. If the tokens are exchanged properly in the market the eth high gas fee will be reduced.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

Very sad looking with ethereum gass very high during many bounty campaign always use with erc20 wallet and not support with eth wallet exchange and I know with exchange wallet still not listed of ICO and bounty coin, but I think better change payment way to be trc wallet and use coin have platform trx, where sending become very faster and lower fees transaction, just 1 trx when sending coin. Maybe if not gas have lower fee we as bounty hunter and ICO project get difficulty how to manage fee sending payment, some time when coin price is up we need higher fee for sending and not the same with how much earning get from selling coin after reduce from higher fee gas.

Ethereum gas fees is more higher than other cryptocurrencies but there are still more population in Ethereum investors, how are still making a good income from their Investment. Despite the high fee of Ethereum people are still having interest on Ethereum than altcoin that is not showing any sign of pumping for investors to recover from the lost they have experienced during the pandemic. Ethereum is about to pump despite many customers never Experience delay in rising from Ethereum before, that is making them worry about the fees and dump in this season that is very close to 2021.

increase in gas fees in ethereum because at the time what you were doing was indeed very high traffic, so it took a long queue and provided convenience with higher gas fees. but this is only an estimate, but it could be true because I remember when I once sent bitcoins it was a bit delayed, after tracing there was a lot of traffic. Compared to the others, the exchangers I used at that time were known for their cheap fees.

However, the current price increase seems to have changed, it has not been maximized because for small transactions, the payment of the gas fee is really felt. hopefully it will gradually decrease, we just wait, besides there are other alternatives ?

_snip_
The reason is because of 2 interrelated things:
Many new projects have been developed using the ethereum blockchain since its introduction because development is so easy. This platform has become the number one tool of its time until recently, although several competitors have emerged.

Many wallet platforms are compatible with ERC20-based asset management since the ethereum smart contract technology was created. The project team cannot avoid ehtereum platform if they want to reach more investors (including small investors) even though the network will experience heavy traffic and high transaction fees.

This space for rent.

Its hard for me to see that eth gas was so very expensive! I can't afford that! I have experienced of transaction failed because of that gas. I tried to trade on last September on uniswap and its failed when I clicked swap. Its sad because in time of crisis I didn't participate on uniswap airdrop snapshot so my wallet not included on the list of rewarded person.

I have paid a transaction fee of more than $ 5 but I think it's still worth it when claiming an airdrop from Uniswap. It is common for transaction fees on ethereum to change depending on whether the ethereum network is busy or not. Hopefully the launch of ETH 2.0 will reduce transaction costs
That's the different case, we are talking about is it worth to pay a few dollars to send a very small transaction. That means it has nothing to do with uniswap claim.
The majority of small users were not able sending their coin to the exchange sites when the ethereum chain was getting clogged.
I think that you must understand about that dude.

If what is meant is that paying a transaction is more expensive than the price of the token that we send, I think it is better not to make a transaction because we are losing count. But if what is meant is an ethereum transaction that continues to rise in dollar value, I think it is also reasonable because the ethereum price also starts to continue to rise

No trading fee only 0.017884% holding fee for every 8 hours open, so trade with 100 is less than 2 cent fee
Also the option to trade stocks, gold, currencies... and fees lower still as trading crypto

Say good-by to high trading fees, trading must be cheap and for everyone

I don't know ifnis good or bad for us bounty hunters since some of us here solely rely in bounties and selling bounty tokens with high gas fee is not good cause they will most likely get almost nothing in return to what the bounty hunters have for. It might great for projects conducting bounties since hunter won't be able to dump the price hard.

I laugh a little when you say Grin "hunters will not be able to dump the price hard", indeed all this time the token disposal that has happened is the work of the hunters, huh? if yes, then I just realized that what I have sold is dumping, do you know how many tokens each hunter will get this year?

And regarding the expensive GAS cost, I don't think everything will be good, because the project team will also be overwhelmed when they want to distribute tokens to hunters.

The price of ethereum gas has indeed reached its peak until several weeks of gas has not decreased so many transactions have made ethereum gas rise so high and after ethereum 2.0 gas has dropped and made gas so stable no wonder eth 2.0 will be a solution for many dependent ethereum users on gas and deals all the time that makes it all the cheaper if ethereum 2.0 could make gas prices cheaper to make transactions any time.
