Germany was surprise of the day for me, did you guys saw what Werner managed to miss If that happened in the game I play with my mates we would make fun of the guy for month probably.

To be honest, Werner is a horrible finisher. Any decent footballer should score that - no doubt, I'm just saying Werner is a bit hyped up because he's fast and he had good scoring periods in Germany.

He has missed a lot of really good chances already this season and will for sure have to improve his finishing by a lot if he plans to keep playing at the highest level. His passing and linkup play is another thing he should seriously start working on.

i also saw part of the game. and also timo werner's great chance to make it 2:1. any blind person would have scored the goal normally.
and a little later, the others score the decisive goal. but i don't know why jogi löw lets such footballers play.
there are really older and young players in the Bundesliga who deserve to play for germany again. but jogi will probably never get these footballers back.

Match England - Poland was a joke. It looked like a friendly match. It was a fight on both sides, but both teams were playing very slowly. England is technically better, but I think that many were disappointed with this level of the game

The Polish team is not as developed as England. So I would say they played well enough. But England has disappointed me. It really felt like a friendly match. England's players didn't attack too much. They felt comfortable to possession the ball. I think their goal was to win the match somehow. They had no desire to score more goals.

Germany, on the other hand, lost to a small team, North Macedonia. No one expected such a bad performance from them. I lost the bet in this match.

We had quite a few surprises so far, from the UEFA qualifiers. All started when Turkey managed to defeat the Netherlands. But still in that case, it can be argued that Turkey is not a very weak side. Then Spain was held to a draw by Greece, and France conceded draw against Ukraine. But the biggest upset to this date, remains the defeat of Germany at the hands of North Macedonia.

The big teams, have players with a lot of games already made in short periods of time, which has increased to a very great physical wear.

There was a clear hand ball from one of the German players and the penalty was not given. On the other hand, Germany was given a penalty kick (which was converted to goal by İlkay Gündoğan) for an inexistent foul. Anyway, the better team won in the end (thanks to the goal by Elif Elmas). And there was a tweet by Bastian Schweinsteiger, which pointed out the biased decision:

Problems with the referees have already been seen in a game in Portugal (to be harmed), now in a game in Germany (to be benefited). 

Unfortunately, I think we will see a lot of this during this qualification for the World Cup.

I didn't realize this actually. All the news reports I read said Germany took control but Macedonia's defence was very resolute plus the awful Werner miss at point blank.

I guess the news wanted to be kind to the Germans. Good news for the neutrals!

I didn't realize this actually. All the news reports I read said Germany took control but Macedonia's defence was very resolute plus the awful Werner miss at point blank.

I guess the news wanted to be kind to the Germans. Good news for the neutrals!

During the Serbia vs Portugal match, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal that was 100% clear, but the referee didn't allowed it. In the end, Portugal was forced to share points with Serbia, as the match ended in a 2-2 draw. On the other hand, UEFA has claimed that complexities caused as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic was preventing it from using VAR. I fail to understand the correlation between the two.

I really don't understand sometimes when big teams lose points or even lose the match against very small teams. There is a huge quality difference and it was one of the important matches for Germany in the group also.

May be there are many who were unlucky like me and i did not expect Germany to get defeated like this as i was expecting over 2.5 goals as well from Germany but they failed to score goals whenever they got the opportunity and i had a bad feeling by the second half mid that Germany might be defeated but unlikely i was not able to cash out and i am not sure why that was the reason, either way disappointed for placing a bet thinking it was an easy parlay.   

It was also very surprising to see Germany scoring only one goal in such an easy game. I saw one of the goals Werner missed and it was really unbelievable and unlucky. He couldn't finish the great pass with a nice goal. Comparing to Werner in the last season, he is having big problems on scoring now.

I also had doubts about some goals and offsides at the same time. Not only was Germany's defeat surprising, but Germany had a hard time scoring goals. From the last two matches Germany was only able to score
one goal from each match. It should be a lesson for Joachim Loew as Germany coach to choose a striker with better finishing. Werner did disappoint
his game, Werner did not take advantage of some opportunities. Even at Chelsea, Werner needed lots of opportunities to score goals. Currently
Germany is indeed a crisis of strikers who have a good finishing. Germany needs strikers like Jurgen Klinsmann and Oliver Bierhoff.

Because all games are already broadcast on television. Then it was enough to have someone, somewhere in Europe, look at the TV and watch the launches. Wasn't aware of that actually (except the Ronaldo one since him throwing away his armband and storming off caused a sensation everywhere). The ref for the portugal match seems to have apologized so that's okay. I mean, refs always will make mistakes but for some reason I'm happier to take that than unnecessary VAR calls that give armpits offsides for goals, what do you think?

It is definitely an idiotic excuse, there is no way that we could agree with this excuse and let them get away with it. I do agree that it was definitely something that shouldn't have happened and that is why I think they should put it back. However doing so after this situation would be a bit weird as well, how are they going to end up defending themselves?

I do not think that this is something that could have been defended, it is just pure shame and if they end up changing the rules from now on that is going to be a bit more difficult. This is why I think it is going to be b it harder to explain things to people and they will just let it be and not change anything. That is at least what I imagine will happen, maybe I am wrong and maybe they will change it but I can say with 90% confidence that they will not end up doing anything like this to not piss off people.
