So if in CONMEBOL only two teams have the potential to win the world cup, and UEFA has 4 or 5, it means that Europe has more winning capacity than South America.

There are many governmental stuff when we go towards lower level nations as well. I have seen it in my own nation, and I have seen it in some other nations as well. When it goes and becomes a huge nation that plays to win, that gets lower of course but still not zero, there are still some team politics and real life politics impact as well. In the end, I believe big teams are big for a reason and we probably already know the winner.

It is between 3-4 teams and maybe 1-2 other teams could have a smaller say in it, that's about it. Whatever else happens with other teams doesn't matter, they will lose anyway, I never seen an unexpected team win world cup before, doubt we will ever see it.

I said, I idolized some Argentinian stars from time to time. i agree that argentina doesn't have many stars but you have to remember there are a lot of argentina players who play in the european league, the european continent has much greater potential it can be justified seeing the development of european football is more complex than latin america, but we will find out after the world cup begins.

England will have to play a lot better to become world champions. It may not say everything, but they lost 0-4 at home to Hungary last in the Nations League? I don't see countries like Brazil and France doing that anytime soon. And then also at home. I think England made a bad and strange choice with the appointment of Southgate as coach. Little experience and no big club trained. England is not just a country to coach. They should have asked someone else. Would Ferguson not be interested? I think this World Cup is going to be a huge disappointment for England.

I think, England coach has a lot of work to do to bring the team back  again by increasing their performance in this world cup. England fans was not happy about the poor performance they experienced during the nation league, that is causing their country fear if they will be able to perform well in the world cup competition. I believe England will definitely improve higher in world cup competition, because their coach is well prepared to introduce more tactics that will help the team to achieve victory through out the tournament.

Yes, you're right, but Argentina still has Messi and I think that a player as complete as he is is very lucky, at least he has the DiMaria and Dybala noodles who, when they serve separately, are stars who are in very good shape, the others players only have to complement them, but in terms of stars I don't see it as bad. And if they get a good coach where they can mesh each skill of these players well, they could easily reach a cup final and win it, in fact this is the last chance Messi has to do it.

What happens is that soccer like any sport is always evolving, when Argentina won the world cup in 1986 they depended almost exclusively on Maradona to accomplish that goal, of course they also had some other good players but they were nowhere near the level of Maradona, and now we are seeing they have been using the same formula and they have tried to win it all with Messi, however soccer has evolved and unless you can field a very good team around a star then the chances of winning the world cup are not very high, especially now that Messi is not as good as he once was.

Surprised that you have mentioned Argentina. I have checked their recent record, and honestly, I couldn't find any consistency. One good thing with Argentina is that whatever issues they had with team bonding seems to have got resolved. There was always an argument that Lionel Messi performs better with Barcelona (and now with Paris Saint-Germain), when compared to the Argentine national team. With Brazil, I have never heard about any such issues. Their team bonding seems to be perfect.

I agree that Messi is a complete player and he is very lucky to have such an extraordinary talent, although Messi's performances were not very good playing at PSG last season. I believe Messi will present the best spectacle for fans at the Qatar World Cup, the quality of Dimaria and Dybala cannot be underestimated. We need to remember is that this is going to be a different world cup. I believe that there is a huge probability that Argentina will win the 2022 World Cup. The Euro 2022 proved that the team that will come together can do amazing things. The tournament is just one month and everything has to be perfect for one month but you need to start the tournament with the right foot. This team has the talent, and have shown the grit and strength that will take off some of the burden off of Messi. This team isn’t Messi dependent. They have arguably the best goalie that Argentina have had in Martinez. A solid midfield who will also fight to get the ball back. And an above average defense that has a mixture of youth and experience. They might not be the best team right now but they have the structure, togetherness, are tactically powerful and experienced.

For me, it would not have been a realistic final if I had heard that Iceland and Northern Macedonia would play. And Argentina and Portugal are the top teams considered by many to be favourites, so it can't be ruled out that they will make the final. What bothers me is the fact that they last won the world cup more than 3 decades ago (in 1986, when they defeated FRG by a margin of 3-2. Jorge Burruchaga scored the winning goal). And back then they had legendary players such as Diego Maradona and Sergio Batista in the squad.
