It's been a while since I posted in this topic, but now there is a reason to do it. On Sunday we have De Klassieker between Feyenoord and Ajax. Both teams is fighting for 2nd place and spot in Champions league. Ajax difficult season continues, though, they got rare big win last round, but now even NEC is ahead them. Feyenoord looks like favorite, but I just remind that Ajax won 3 recent games against them. Should be interesting.

PSV yesterdaw didn't managed to become earliest ever Eredivisie winners and will have to wait until April. Yesterday they got unexpected loss against Telstar. I guess red card played main role there. Also, they didn't got positive result from De Klassieker where they needed Feyenoord win.

PSV Eindhoven performance dropped drastically. With all my respect to Telstar, I know that the PSV that we saw earlier could knock them with half team being substituted and even with less than 11 players. We are witnessing a defeat by 3 goals of a team topping the league with 15 points difference weeks before the end of the season.
There is 6 rounds left in Eredivisie and PSV Eindhoven are required to win or see Feyenoord dropping points to become champions. That celebration is postponed to April unfortunately for them.

PSV’s 3-1 loss at Telstar, coupled with a red card received just before the international break, prevented them from extending their lead over Feyenoord. The gap is indeed significant, and in my view, the Eredivisie title race is no longer exciting since the lead has reached 15 points.

It is the Feyenoord-Ajax match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, that is the real story. For Feyenoord, a win over Ajax would mean their second-place position wouldn’t be too threatened by NEC. Meanwhile, for Ajax, a victory over Feyenoord would allow them to overtake NEC.
The race for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place is intense in the Eredivisie.
I’m mentioning the standings because I’m not particularly interested in following the Eredivisie, so I can’t fully analyze the performance of the top teams.
I don’t overlook betting on the Eredivisie.

A second in a row league loss for PSV could come off as a surprise, especially when it's a loss to a weak Telstar, but PSV don't have much left to play for, so they can allow themselves to take a more careless/relaxed approach.
If Feyenoord were to lose to Ajax, and PSV were to win against Telstar, the championship would be a sealed deal, and perhaps PSV preferred to celebrate that moment at home. But I wouldn't go as far as to say they intentionally let Telstar win.

For Telstar, this win is a lifeline. They were close to the relegation zone, but now they have a 4-point buffer.

Feyenoord and Ajax drew 1-1, and NEC failed to take advantage of that as they also earned only one point against Heerenveen, so we have no changes in the top 4.

This is impressive with 15pt at the top I don't think they can be stopped at this point, honestly if PSV are that good and still in the champions league this should have been a great moment to fight with all they have in the champions league but now they only have their league to battle for. Is still good for them to hold on to the top spot since no team is there to stop them, yesterday they are suppose to get a win but the red was another factor, picked them to win and it ended the other way.

PSV’s path to the title this season is becoming increasingly clear. They just need to maintain their form over the next six rounds to win the league title. Just one more win is enough for PSV to secure it. PSV’s momentum was briefly halted by Nijmegen and even against Telstar. But in reality both of those matches were indeed difficult for PSV as Nijmegen had previously defeated PSV in the KNVB Cup semifinals. The same goes for Telstar who had also previously beaten PSV at Philips Stadion in the fourth round of the Eredivisie. However the next few rounds will be easier matches for PSV. PSV will face Utrecht next week, where in their last meeting PSV managed to defeat Utrecht despite playing as the away team. And in the round after that PSV will face Sparta Rotterdam whom they previously defeated 6-1. The same goes for their next match against PEC Zwolle. So I personally believe that PSV will definitely be the champions this season. They will secure the league title with just one more win making their position in the standings impossible for other teams to catch up to. And I’m confident that next week’s match against Utrecht will result in a victory for PSV.

Their points gap with Feyenoord is already 15 points which is equivalent to full points in 5 matches, with the quality in the Eredivisie, it's impossible for the teams there to destroy PSV in 6 consecutive matches. It's certain that PSV will be champions after the international break.

The stats of PSV football team was good in this match because their shots were more in this match and these were 16 in this match and 9 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 52 percent in this match. The fouls of that team were less in this match which were only 3 in this match and that team did only 1 goal in this match And that was the reason they could not win this match. Brouwer was a person who gave good goal to his team and that goal was at 48 minutes and he did Level in this match by doing second goal of the match and after that we saw one more goal in this match as Van Duijn did goal after few minutes of the match and he did this goal at 66 minutes of the match.

Seems that PSV players relaxed a bit too much and it affected their performance. And it's kinda understandable, it's human psychology. You have such huge lead and you aren't playing in Europe anymore, it's probably not that easy to put all 100% efforts.

I don't believe. Why? Because basically it's already fact, only matter of time when it will happen officially. Even if PSV will lose all their remaining games (what is impossible), Feyenoord just don't have quality to win all remaining their games.

It's not a question of if, but when PSV will seal the deal and make the successful defence of their championship official.
It could happen this weekend, if PSV beats Utrecht at home and Feyenoord doesn't win against Volendam on Sunday (an away game). This is ot the most optimal scenario, as PSV wouldn't be able to celebrate winning of the league on Saturday together with their fans, as they will have to wait till Sunday for the result of Volendam Vs Feyenoord.

If PSV are already in the relaxed mode, knowing that the championship is just a formality, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose points against Utrecht, who are a solid team and are undefeated in 7 games.
