His own administration won't even let him answer any questions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-BOjz4f5zUHe said he'll take questions if "that's what I'm supposed to do" and the feed cuts off lol. Say what you want about Trump's rambling incoherent press conferences, but the great thing was, he'd always answer heckling reporters without a filter. So even if he didn't have a "formal press conference", he'd tweet out his foreign policy on twitter and have an exchange with reporters every now and then, so it's not like anyone was out of the loop on the things he believed. If you look closely you can see the strings attached to his hands and legs. There is none attached to his mouth. The tech is advanced now they have the wireless ear pods for that job.

Senate democrats pass the 1.9 trillion dollar covid relief package in the senate. Party line vote, 50-49. Calls for numerous expenditures, but most notably the 1400 dollar stimulus checks and 300 dollar/wk unemployment checks. Also gave states 350 billion in aid with some funding for vaccine programs and ACA subsidies. So, who wants to guess what this will do to the inflation rate? It seems there is this notion that instead of reopening local economies and letting businesses operate, printing money through short term stimulus checks will solve the issue. The problem is, you end up having to repay the "debt" you create when you print this money at some point or another.
Yeah.. obviously voting should be along the party lines. GOP no longer have any senators from the blue states. But senators such as Murkowski would side with Dems at any point in the future. On the other hand, the so called "conservative Democrats" such as Joe Manchin sides with the official party line almost every time. He voted against the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett to the SCOTUS. To appease his conservative supporters, he may side with the GOP in a few non-priority issues. But he has voted in favor of the stimulus package. Conservative voters prove that they are the biggest idiots. Again and again, they elect senators such as Joe Manchin, Joe Donnelly, Heidi Heitkamp and Doug Jones, who consistently side with the liberals.

I saw that and it is quite sad that our President cannot take questions from a friendly audience. I think Trump probably talked to the press too much, and as you said, didn't have a filter. Trump should have let the experts do the talking in his press conferences, rather than make everything about himself. Biden is not talking to the press nearly enough. All of his appearances are carefully staged and scripted. One of these days, he will slip up and answer questions, or someone in his administration will intentionally allow him to speak, and he will make a fool of himself, which will lead to the end of his time as President. Senate democrats pass the 1.9 trillion dollar covid relief package in the senate. Party line vote, 50-49. This is really not a covid aid package, it can be more accurately described as a 1.9 trillion dollar democrat pork package with a little bit of covid aid inside.

Bit of a double standard coming from a Trump supporter don't you think?

Bit of a double standard coming from a Trump supporter don't you think? Trump would sometimes say stupid things, and would sometimes contradict his own administration. These are examples of Trump wanting to make everything about himself, and wanting to answer all questions, even if he didn't know the answer. I think Biden will make a fool out of himself by showing just how little he is able to respond to questions when he doesn't have the answer on a script or a teleprompter. Biden will show how much of a cognitive decline he is in.

I was hoping Joe Biden would at least run for reelection so that a competent Republican candidate would go against him and hopefully win. Perhaps that might not be the case. Seeing Kamala Harris glare in the background at Joe stumbling at his words, I can't help but think she's imagining taking his job soon enough. https://www.covers.com/politics/us-election-betting-oddsHarris has a higher chance to win 2024 according to the betting odds lol

Right, now that Biden is president, pork in relief bills is a problem, because democrats are bad. I'm also hearing that deficit is bad again. The party of fiscal responsibility is back for the next couple of years at least, yay.

That's called lying. Admitting you don't know, or admitting you were wrong about something is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of character.

Maybe Biden is so far gone that he doesn't know that he doesn't know. All this shows is that he is remaining in character. Biden isn't the one who orchestrated the election fraud. He simply sat there and wondered what happened.

Opinion piece - https://thehill.com/opinion/immigration/542043-team-biden-offers-alternative-reality-on-border-crisis-with-no-plan-toJoe Biden is taking a soft approach on border crossings because it's a bit politically inconvenient to do what Obama did and actually have a tough(er) stance illegal immigration. But, this is an actual crisis. If you live in South American and you know that Joe Biden will be weak on immigration, why wouldn't you attempt to either illegally immigrate or show up at the border and request asylum? And Press sec Jen Psaki refuses to give a number on the amount of immigrants that are being kept at these detention facilities (so much for transparency). For one, you have the whole "children in cages" optics which I remember very closely being a massive scandal during the Trump administration. Not so much talk about it now but set that aside. What is the ethical way of handling illegal immigration during a pandemic? Do you forcefully vaccinate all immigrants crossing to prevent spread? Do you bother testing anybody? Do these detention centers have social distancing? Mexico is basically a 3rd world country, COVID is spreading rampant and the only reason COVID cases are "down" is because of lack of testing and a lack of a national database that tabulates positive cases. So it isn't unreasonable to believe that some of the illegal immigrants crossing into the US will be COVID positive.

The reason there's not so much talk about it is because the real issue was Trumps family separation policy, which is not in happening under Biden. Trump Policy: If a parent(s) crosses border with children and no documents, they are separated from them. Parents go to one facility, children go to separate facility. The same facility that Trump used for children of all ages (not sure about infant's, lets say most, maybe all ages) has been reopened and is being used for teenagers that crossed the border without a guardian. Both dems and republicans are trying to make it seem like Biden is doing the same thing Trump did that was widely considered outrageous to push political narratives (republicans to claim dems are hypocrites/Trump wasn't so bad, dems to get Biden to relax immigration policy). Neither are accurate.

Yeah no that is not at all what happened. Kids in cages was the new buzzword of the left. I see how that’s all different now that Biden is President. Remember AOC calling them “concentration camps”? And btw, they aren’t kids in cages. They weren’t when Trump was President, and it isn’t now that Biden’s President. What’s scary is the revisionist history. How could you forget the kids in cages fiasco that lasted for literal months?

Yeah no that is not at all what happened. Huh? Speaking of revisionist history, what happened then? Trump/Sessions/Nielsen pitched family separation as necessary deterrent against illegal immigration. That is, until they did a 180 and started blaming Obama for it. There are court rulings requiring the government to reunite the separated families, so you'd have to go full QAnon to deny it.

There are court rulings requiring the government to reunite the separated families, so you'd have to go full QAnon to deny it. Family separation also happened during Obama and during Bush. The thing new about Trump was a zero tolerance policy, but, I think people can reasonably disagree on that. Me personally, a bit cruel to have a zero tolerance policy. But I'm also not an expert on border crossings so who knows what volume of children were coming in and whether they were being brought in by their biological parents or not. Were they concentration camps? Fuck no they weren't. And AOC was an idiot for saying so. And it was also during this time the left coined the whole "children in cages" debacle which they're silent on now. So you'd also have to go full Qanon to deny that the left wasn't screeching about children in cages back then and made an issue out of nothing. This isn't new though. The whole "believe all women" thing also got thrown out the window after Tara Reade and her allegations against Biden so I've already prepared myself for this to be a recurring thing with the far left now that Biden's in charge.
