it all depends on the choice of the type of coin you wish to invest in or trade.  if indeed the related coin has good potential in the future better the right choice you should do is invest your money into it, but if you want to make quick profits when the volume is high then trade that type of coin.  but it all depends on the decisions and intentions of your own beliefs, the most important thing is that you must be ready to bear all the risks that will be faced later

Trading is very profitable if you are wiser enough when to buy and sell coins you are holding on the other hand investing is less risk but if you are not following any updates of the coins you are holding then you might lose your money then. If you want to earn, you must take a careful research and study regarding this matters.

For me it's always investment. Though I also do some trading but not much. For me investment is better cause I don't have to put huge time on it, it's easy and I am not a professional trader. If you are new I would say don't go for trading. First learn it then go for it. Cause trading is profitable only when you know how to do it properly. That's the beauty of having a straigh forward approach, knowing what type of investor's you are and able to manage to go with your target. It's hard to predict the market and it's risky playing with the movements. If you don't  have that much time to spare then investing is the best options for for you.

Trading crypto could be highly volatile and most times retracements could blow off your little capital before moving your predicted direction. I recommend holding as it has more stable positive returns than trading especially leverage trading. Just one losing order can cost you all of your previous profits. With the trade, try to stay calm and keep a position good enough to be able to average the price.
